This is a very large charity shop on Abington Street in the centre of Northampton which sells furniture, electrical goods, clothes, fitness equipment, books, records, CDs, dvds, toys, bric a brac, plus probably all sorts of other things that you can think of. I think some things are donated by supermarkets because there will often be several of one item in brand new condition.

Lovely service, wide variety of clothes in multiple sizes, lots of things other than clothes available also. Just a joy to go to every time!

A fantastic place to shop and eat.There is clothing, books, furniture etc available. Good quality at very low prices. The restaurant section is also good. Breakfast and lunch available, plus proper coffee and delicious muffins again at a low price. I have eaten there before and have always been greeted with a smile. It also feels good to help a charity.

Aesthetically pleasing charity store; looks like a high-end brand-owned store. I am very pleased with the fact there's a wide selection in this store, ranging from homeware to clothing. I always end up taking a long time looking around, and majority of items are in great condition. Store is kept clean and tidy and the pricing is decent. Majority of staff are very welcoming and friendly when I go there; however, there was one incident with a cashier where she wasn't vocal and didn't bother to fold up my items. By the looks of it, she wasn't very comfortable in her position, as a cashier, as she was looking down all the time and had her fringe/some part of her hair covering her eyes. I do not mean this in a disrespectful way at all, it was just a little inconvinent as there was a queue behind me and I had to fold the item up myself (purchased a bedding cover, so it was quite large) after payment was complete. Whilst I was trying to fold the item away, she started to deal with the next customer, which I find quite rude as I wasn't finished. I understand this is potentially a confidence issue, but some customers may find it unwelcoming that there's no eye contact/speech with the cashier.

The red shield cafe is as friendly staff and I go in regularly they have loyalty card purchase 5 hot drinks and the 6th drink free I normally have a regular sized drink with a sausage roll for £1 78p and if you ask they will bring your over to your table with a smile unlike the coffee shop in the bus station as I will never never never set foot in that office shop as they woman snapped we don't have table service so I go to the red shield cafe they always have a smile 5 stars service
