Went for the first time on 16.08.2021 early evening. Great toy store, floor to ceiling shelves full of toys! Toddler walked around in awe! Everything is clearly sign-posted, wide aisles, bright decor. Can find items easily. Staff were very helpful as we bought a fancy dress and it was missing the headband. Went back in and no questions asked (with receipt) we got another headband. Store was very tidy and clean. Will return to buy Christmas presents.

Good toy store. Plenty of choice. Kids love it here. Staff have always been helpful. We've bought many things here over the years and everything has been good quality and lasted well.

Smyths is a fantastic toy store for all ages. The shop inside always looks impressive and I’m like a big kid myself when I go in let alone my children. Staff always seem friendly and polite. I have to mention Smyths customer service is brilliant, I had an issue that Hermes delayed my parcel but then I heard no more and didn’t receive my parcel so I called the customer service number which I was in queue but that went down very quickly and then I spoke to a friendly man who was apologetic and sorted my issue and I’ve got my order coming today from Dpd. That’s what I call great service. I even called my local store to see if they could help but because i had done this online they said I would have to deal with Hermes or customer service, which was no issue but even the young girl on the phone was polite and explained. I would highly recommend Smyths and if you have an issue you know they will help you and get your issue resolved quickly. Working in retail management myself I know how important customer service is and going above and beyond and Smyths have certainly done that for me. 👏👍🏻

Huge selection of toys but very overpriced compared to other places would not be someone to visit this store regularly . Also staff were not particularly helpful, we wanted a toy which was locked in a cabinet and needed assistance to get it out. Staff had no idea who held the keys which was very disorganised and just seemed like they couldn't be bothered to get it out for us , so ended up going elsewhere.

Since the demise of Toys r Us this is the only toy shop that even vaguely compares. My kids absolutely love going in here. The height of the shelves is awe inspiring to them. They love the fact that they can try the scooters and ride-ons. The aisles are wide and the store is easily accessible with no ramps or steps. Very easy to navigate a buggy or wheelchair around. There is adequate parking here, but it blows my mind that there's no dedicated parent and child parking anywhere. I think that's a massive oversight and the reason I've knocked off a star. There are, however, more disabled spaces than you could ever wish for. Great selection of toys, really helpful and knowledgeable staff, but terrible for parental parking.
