k.I want to love this place. But I find it difficult to find things, and evidently so does the staff. The fiction section is quite small. Customer service is hit and miss. I wanted to order a book but the woman working didn't seem very interested in serving me, so I just decided against it. I will continue to shop here because I believe in independent bookstores, but it's a shame that the overall experience could be better.

It is also well-stocked with titles you would want to read. Highly recommended. I (no longer use online or large companies) where possible as feel we have to support these excellent independent high street shops. DO THE RIGHT THING AND HELP THE HIGH STREET !!
C. M.A gem of an independent bookshop with an excellent and varied range of titles. It is quite small but manages to pack a lot in - always worth spending a little more in an independent than Amazon or a big wholesaler. Will be back.

I always find a book I didn’t even know I wanted, and if I’m looking for something specific and they don’t have it in store they order it in, and it arrives shortly.
E. E.This independently owned bookshop is am absolute gem, it has a fantastic assortment of titles, with staff every bit as charming and characterful as the shop itself.
Several times now when myself or my boyfriend have pre-ordered a book, we've been given signed copies or promotional items at no extra cost.
Even if I didn't live in Norwich I would still shop at Book Hive, their mail order service is really good and they are always helpful and friendly when you telephone.
