h. i.Great store with a myriad of products at very good prices. Staff mixed, some friendly so definitely not, including supervisors. Make sure you always get a receipt in case you have to return an item. Won't refund without one. Its true there are often homeless people outside .. however I visit at least once a week and have never been asked for money. I give it, or buy food for them because they are always friendly and very polite, and they're obviously in difficult circumstances. I've never felt threatened and if I have no changei I've never felt uncomfortable not giving. I've found they're always happy just to chat even if you can't give them anything.
All in all, B&M is a good place to shop and so are Aldi, the Range and the Pound Shop .. in one or another you can find just about anything you need
M. M.It’s a good branch but a bit not organised as for example not all products have the price labels below them so that’s a bit of a struggle. Also, sometimes a product has a reduction label then you go to the till & it’s not reduced, happened with me twice! Friendly stuff though & I love b&m overall.
m. m.Helpful staff, well laid out shop, had everything I came for - and more! Open till 9 in the week too, which really helps if you work regular hours...

T. K.Went on the off chance to see if they sold wardrobes, found what I was looking for, asked if they had a larger trolley, not only did they bring one , the young man packed, stacked and took it through the checkout, he also loaded it into my car. Wouldn't take a tip as it was part of his job,

E.Great products, great size store, but not my favourite B&M Store - last time I was here, it was way too hot - had to stop browsing because it was so warm inside (warmer than outside, on a hot day!) - heard multiple people make comments to cashier, who just shrugged and said "I have a fan under the till". Also never been to this store with more than 2 people on check outs, yet always seem to be fairly long queues (only ever visited at noon, so maybe less staff due to lunch breaks??) Can't fault the price/product range though.
M. R.The selections and pricing are quite good, and so are the staff. The only real issue I've had while shopping at this B&M is the fact that their Air Conditioning is not up to par. Since you can't feel any comfortable/cool air circulating, it gets stuffy and way too warm inside the store, During summer time, in-store can feel sweltering.

F.Everyone loves B&M no one ever needs anything going in but comes out with a trolly load its everything all under one roof its great the only thing wrong with the place is the heat it's absolutely roasting everytime you go shopping the aircon is ridiculous and a waste of time how the staff cope working like this is beyond me!!! I can't walk round the whole shop because of this problem 🙄 it's just too dam hot I think the CEO should invest in some new air-conditioning!!

S. C.This store is amazing! They sell anything you can think of. Sweets, Tea, Clocks, Drawings and they even sell frozen food. The list is endless. Whenever I have been in need, B&M has always been there. I have recently bought a colour changing light from there as well as board pins. Their ready meals are very salty but nothings perfect.

E. A.The staff is friendly and helpful and you can always find the things you wouldn't expect you desperately need. The only thing which makes it bad is the main corridor which you can't avoid because you need to go through it when you've just entered the store. If you want to take a look around and see different things you want to buy from the main carridor at the entrance you end up finding it crowded especially when so many people just enter the store. This also ruins social distancing in some way. But other than that this store is one of my favourites

F.Is massive store and they have so much i think the best deals are the toys 2 for £20 Also I think it is the best because the bottom half of the shop is full of fridge and freezer items from meals and meat and kids frozen nuggies to cheese and milk and yogurts in the fridge you could do your big shop there . Also they have two aisles on garden and DIY and aisles of furniture for your home
L.It's a really big 'Home' B&M just outside of Nottingham city.... It even has paint , wallpaper, and sells big furniture like wardrobes etc.... A very competitively priced store.... You would need your car to shop though....

g. h.Looking for cream peroxide to bleach my hair during quarantine (you know how it is). There didn't seem to be any in the store. So we asked a store member for help. He didn't seem to be aware of what we wanted, but his colleague, understood and lead us back to the same aisle. Then reccomended a chemist that did have the product we needed, upon seeing there was none in stock. She was really polite and friendly.
p. R.The products and staff at the store are fine. The main problem is the layout, it's too long and takes you around the perimeter of the store, instead of giving the customer the choice of where to go to get their item directly. I suffer from chronic back pain and having to take the long way around to get a product, when I can see the item next to the cashier's till is frustrating!
Also, sadly being harassed by beggars is a problem, not only with B&M but with other stores at the Castle Retail Park. I know times are hard, but it does make the shopping experience less enjoyable. Customers are made to feel very guilty by the groups of beggars that constantly harass them and camp outside the shop fronts. Perhaps, inviting a local homeless charity to deal with this problem would help. People would feel more comfortable giving money and it eliviate some of the problems the homeless are going through.

J. T.It's a rather large B&M. You are crazy if you think you can browse this store in one sweep. I love the variety and stock, but a lot stuff isn't priced, so you're left wondering. Employees aren't really interested in helping you so long as you don't get in their way.
There is a single corridor of cheap food items as you enter that is designed to make you more comfortable about spending more on other stuff. Other than that this place is one of my faves.

m.Hi it as been a long time since I went to b&m but l enjoyed it not to meny people in and l get to walk round without people all on top of one another and believe it or not saved some money for my next trip so if you have not been l would say go have a look see what you think and hope you enjoy your trip
K.Some great bargains today, Jacob's wooden cheese board and crackers for £1.99 down from 4.99! Their cat toys are great too, my cats LOVE the feather chaser. Also great to see they now also do frozen and fresh foods! 👍👍

The way the allies are set up at the entrance is definitely not the greatest set up for a large store, it reminds me of a one way system.
Whatever you do dont forget something!
The checkouts are very narrow, it can be a bit of a squeeze to fit a standard size wheelchair between the checkouts. Mind your figures!
There arent enough staff to man the checkouts so you maybe waiting a while.
I would advise to take your own bags as their standard plastic bags are very thin and break easily.
When i asked to use the disabled trolley the first time it was full off sale items, it had to be emptied which took ages, and slightly embarrassing. The second time apparently it had gone missing. I am unsure if they have replaced it, as I have previously managed with a basket.

A. A.Every time that I go into this B and M there seem to be people having a row or some screaming children. That is probably not anything that B and M can control, but is a point worth noting. It is not the cleanest store, but the selection is good - albeit random - and there are good deals on seasonal decor and kitchenware especially. They also have a selection of flat-pack furniture comparable to IKEA, with slightly lower prices. Worth noting if you need a new side table or chair.
