Prices have shot through the roof ,even with account discount of 20'% a gallon of waterbased black opaque stain was £70, scary

Helpful, friendly staff. Can mix any paint colour possible. Awkward and busy parking at the rear (where the trade entrance is), so do not attempt driving up to the front on the main road.

I have dealt with Johnstones for over 10 years in Nottingham now. These guys are really helpful, professional, friendly. Their paint is fantastic..much better than some of the more expensive designer brands! I thoroughly recommend these guys wether you are a professional decorator or just DIY.....they will always spend time with you giving you advice & guidance...indeed there are some ex-decorators working there. Give them a try!!

Great store, they will try and help to the best of their abilities and will go further to find out any products or information you might need. We use this store for both decoration and paint supplies and also render and external wall insulation supplies so we can certainly vouch for the quality and price of their products. Some items are not stocked for external wall insulation however the staff more than agree with us about what they ideally should stock to accompany other products they provide, and external wall insulation products are in their early days at this branch. I would definitely recommend going in this store.
