There's plenty of products for a good range of pets . Although make sure you're charged properly I picked up 3 items on offer to which I was wrongly charged unfortunately I didn't check the receipt until I was nearly home ! I called the next day on route to somewhere else to which rectifying the problem was traumatic to say the least especially for the member of staff who did her very best to sort it out. It may have been easier to void the whole transaction and start again. I did get some more of the same products to which on my receipt still appeared to overcharge me but after half an hour trying to sort things out I'd almost lost the will to live . I'll write the prices down on a piece of paper myself and add up as I pick my items on any future visits . Other than that the store is brilliant for all your pet needs and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Clean spacious store with plenty of choice in product for most types of pets. Staff are friendly and helpful, have good knowledge of products and what's good for different types of pets if your not sure on something. Usually have all items however, as like all retail places, dependent upon lorry drivers arriving so may om rare occasion find an item temporarily out of stock, so replace before you run out I'd say to be safe. I've not been disappointed yet though as always had what I needed.

I always find the staff at Pets at Home very helpful. The purchase I was making was too heavy for me to carry so I asked a gentleman if he would carry it to the till for me. He went above n beyond as he also waited in line until I was served and then carried it to the car for me. (ps Yes, he did work there, not just some random bloke I press ganged into helping me.).

The staff are so nice wether it's in-store or on the phone . Somtimes I will call to make sure what I want is in , saves Fule Always get parking right near . I always get the cat lit as they have the wood pellets & there only £6 Somtimes £6.49 for a big bag they last ages you only need 2 cups per lit tray . Got Filters for my Fish tanks too pleased with the price & product , just under £13 using them on my 20L tanks work great for a Betta as they like a Soft flow . Good shop

It's a good place unfortunately it does lack some supplies I would like for some of my exotic pets. Its great if you got dogs cats and more common pets. There is a great range of food toys etc for the furry animals. The staff are friendly and helpful. I've never had to queue for long. With the covid pandemic, the staff have proven they are very efficient and dedicated to their jobs.

We visited pets at home to purchase a hamster for my animal crazy daughter. We asked a member of staff for some advice and help as we have never had a hamster before. A man called rich helped us, he was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Answered any questions we had in great detail. He definitely knows his stuff. Nothing was rushed and gave us advice on how to keep the hamster and happy and healthy as it grows. I now have a very happy daughter. Thank you very much.

This place has everything for your pets. You can even take them in with you. Some items are cheaper elsewhere but you can build up loyalty points, it all depends on your level of spending. The staff are all polite, very helpful and dedicated. The store is always spotless too. A pleasure to visit, if only to browse.

Lacking stock of cat litter over recent months

2 weeks ago we went to Pets at Home to find some information about having a small fish tank and cold water fish. We came away after ordering the tank and advised to wait 2 weeks before we purchase the fish whilst the water in the tank settles. This weekend we plan to return and buy the fish and the member of staff that helped and advised us was Kieran. Keiran improved our knowledge and was extremely helpfull. Our daughter has decided to call one of the fish Kieran 😊

I always find the staff very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The things I'm after are generally in stock and sometimes they're even on offer. They had forgotten to take down a price reduction sign on one of my purchases, though it had expired the week before. There was no quibble about honouring it. They always ask if you want a hand to your car with heavier items. All in all, It's a pleasure shopping here.

We love visiting this shop to see all of the pets for sale. There is a great selection of stuff for all different types of pets as well as pet foods and treats. The tropical fish are varied and they sell many things to support them which are difficult to source in most other pet shops.

It's like a roll of a dice as to which staff you are going to get. Friendly and helpful or miserable and rude. Most basic stuff is overpriced compared to supermarkets but the more niche brands are usually at a fair price, bizarrely. I practically live at pets at home. Owning rats, cat, dogs and tropical fish I'm in there at least three times a week if not more. The staff are so friendly and do work hard. One name to mention in particular is Sam his knowledge on aquariums is fantastic; as we always rush in with some sort of problem from a naughty krisbenis fin nipping to algae. I honestly think we've had it all and he's always helped us out. Honestly I cannot give the staff credit enough they have always been pleasant and helped us out. Went here to buy 2 hamsters for my granddaughter. She chose the ones she wanted and the girl that served us gave all the instructions on how to take care of them, feed ,clean, handle, ect. Pets at home do a good loyalty scheme and the livestock on display, rabbits, gerbils, mice etc attract a fair bit of attention. I do find that often though they haven't got the items I went for and trying to buy a tropical fish made me wonder if I was a Noel Edmonds Gotcha victim. Gave up in the end.

I shop at this store for mainly Dog and cat food, toys and treats. Stocked with good products at decent prices, better bargains can be found in store than on the internet. The staff know their produces and have a good knowledge of kibble dog food from a variety of brands. If you tell them what you want from the food for your dog then they match you to the right food that is ideal for the breed and age of your dog or puppy. Pets at Home have their own brand of produces that are a lot cheaper than the bigger brands. I have found they are just as good and suitable for those dogs / puppies with complex food allergies or those dogs who are on high protein diets. They don't really have much choice of frozen bones or raw food, but they do have a few brands, most are on the expensive side. How many dog toys can one store have? Its doggie heaven. I can spend over an hour in this alise with my dog trying to choice with her which one she likes the best, we normally come out with three.

If you want a pet or are considering one, this is the place for you. I would however, refrain from asking the short red-headed man in the rabbit enclosure, if the baby ginger rabbit is his.
