Great pet shop, loads of different snacks and treats for all different kinds of animal; dogs, birds, rabbits, cats, dogs, and more dogs.... There's a groomers here too, but I don't go there, and I don't like having a bath. At all. Good prices and the pawrents often have coupons to get even more snacks and treats from the Pet Club Card. Friendly staff, and all my Doggo cousins welcome. There's no fitting rooms but the humans that work here will help you try your coats and jumpers on for proper size before the pawrents buy. I love this shop 🐶

C. M.Alright for fish tank ornaments, but:
There was quite a variety of fish tank ornaments, and I liked the looks of lot's of them! However, one or two were rather sharp and rough, so I steered clear of those one's.
Then I went to look at the fish for sale- not to buy (as I've already got Guppies, which are quick breeders), but just to browse at. A few of them were kept in a reasonable living condition, but there were a few dirty tanks, which were not up to standed. I even think one of the fish in the tanks were dead!
All in all, a meh experience, suggest for fish ornaments but not to buy fish themselves.

H.The five stars are for Ruth Who works at Pets at Home Castle Marina Retail Park Who assisted me with the problems I was having with my hamster We have not had the amster two weeks And he did not seem happy in the cage we first got him He was noring and climbing on the bars So she recommended a different cage And all I had to pay was the Difference and pets at home took the original cage back With no problems
So I recommend if anybody wants advice about hamster or the right cages go and see Ruth at pets at home 😀🐹
I. P.The staff were helpful and informative and the selection of tropical fish was reasonable considering that we are just out of lockdown. The assistant was careful to select fish of roughly the same size to prevent any bullying that might occur when they were released in our aquarium.

M.We decided to get some fish from here. We've never kept fish before but want to get some for our young children. After getting confused about the different types and different water type fish we asked the very friendly staff to help, after a quick description of what we wanted, the staff member (Rosie) went through what equipment we needed and explained how to look after them. She put us to ease and made everything clearer for us.
Prices are a little on the high side after googling the items we had bought, but the information given to us beginners was excellent! Thank you!

The till queue can get quite large and prevents you from looking at a whole isle because there isn't enough room to walk past the till queue. Nobody's fault just the stores size I guess but can't fault the staff and will return based on this alone.

V. W.First time shopping at pets at home, was looking for a coat for our newly adopted jack Russell cross called Milo. The staff were polite and very helpful, we even took him instore to try coats on him, we bought 3! Lol he likes his wax style jacket best, we will be back for another one for him soon, Milo says fank ooo berry much.

S. S.Pets at home is where brand I trust. The branch in Nottingham is massive and houses everything any pet could ever want and/or need. The staff were knowledgeable when I asked for advice, both about their products and for dog advice. Found a few bargains there too. The small animals that are sold their, the ones from store and the ones from rescue were all happy and kept in clean environments were plenty of water was always available.

I have been in a lot of other branches all over the country and this one stands up to be the best I did tell one manager at another branch to send his staff to this one for training good luck to you all and stay safe all of you
K.Prices are good for their aquatics section... But alot of the staff do not know that much about them... Had a rank with an ammonia problem tried everything they told me but in the end it was the tapsafe causing it which the staff knew nothing about

F.Since having my cats 6 years ago and Aquiring a rabbit 3 years ago who sadly died 2 months ago we've been shopping Here for a whole range of things from the hunches to cat tress and toys the staff are lovely and so helpfull always on hand for tips and questions and products even over the phone they went above and beyond for us over the winter months to get us a thermal cover for our rabbits hutch so a big thank you to all the staff here for helping us give our little prince harry everything he needed and the cats all the empty boxes of the stuff we brought
R. H.Our go to place to buy food for our two greyhounds. Larger than the Arnold branch and with more car parking. No problems bringing your dogs inside either. There's trolleys outside (takes a quid) should you need to load up.
Friendly, helpful staff and a wide range of dog food and related items. There's usually some doggie biscuits by the tills and water outside too.

S. C.I have a cockatiel and find the choice of goods limited. I use the vitamin drops, cuttle fish and seeds but don't use the cage sand as they only have a limited weight. I would be buying every time I cleaned the cage. They have sand sheets but I don't use these as the cockatiel eats them.
There is a good variety of food etc for cats, dogs, rabbits and things for wild birds but for any other pets supplies are limited, so it's a case of picking and choosing what to buy hete
