Lack of correct training to their staff members resulted in us buying a car seat which didn't suit our needs. When returning to the store, I was very forgiving that it more than likely wasn't the staff members fault more likely a lack of training from the business themselves. The new car seat was an additional £4.91. Nothing really. But due to the inconvenience caused by the incorrect demonstration of the original car seat I requested to have this discounted. Unfortunately they refused. I find this to be extremely poor customer service.

This store is amazing, it's like a day out in itself for your children. Since becoming a single father I must have spent over 2k here, my daughter loves it. The staff are always friendly, helpful and professional, the management are great too. The store is laid out in a way that it's easy to find what you're looking for and the variety of toys is amazing. The parking is ample to, highly recommended for any toys for your children.

Our family love smyths toys, we come every month for toys, teddie bears my daughter collects. Great staff at this store very helpful and smiley. Only gave 4 stars due to the fact they have stopped the helium balloons, gutted about that.

One of our very few remaining high street toy retailers. :( The shop in Nottingham is great though, always reasonably busy but in a good way. Prices are also very competitive compared to the internet. Don't buy toys from Amazon, support your local shops by visiting Smyths. 👍🏻 We'll be back.

Way better than toys are us for selection of toys. However returns are a nightmare! I returned a toy which the screen was going dim and they said they wouldn't accept it, as it looked ok to them... a few days later the screen packed in completely, and they wouldn't accept it as it was over the limit of days allowed for returns with the receipt.

They have a great selection of toys for kids. Brought most of the Christmas toys here for my kids. East Point Retail Park has lots of space for car parking and was only built a year ago.

I shopped in this store yesterday, saturday 5th October. I was amazed at how pleasant & helpfull the staff were, they were young & smiling & one young man actually spoke as he passed me!! I think the staff traing must be brilliant! Well done to these young people & thank you x

Great selection of toys, the kids love it. These kind of stores are being replaced by online retailers but there's no substitute for being able to take your kids to see what they're asking for.

10/10 for there planing on easter Saturday. My kids had a good time. There was free candy floss and a Dj outside the store, in store easter egg hunt, free face painting and a free goodie bag on the way out. Both my kids had a good time. Thanks
