Always a friendly greeting and as always spot on advice from people who know what they are talking about. Extremely well stocked too. Other tackle shops come and go but Walkers are still there at the forefront of the trade, and that's for good reason!

All my gear and equipment that I aquired over the years I bought from Walkers as they are the best in the area for fishing tackle and accessories. They don't seem to have time for you if you are a beginner or not spending much money ,the guy at stapleford angling set everything up for me for free ,walkers wanted to charge me for elasticating a whip after purchasing the whip ,elastic and everything to go with it ,customer service goes a long way so I am going to stapleford angling .

Probably the best fishing shop in England. Definitely the best in the Midlands. They have literally anything you need. Whether you are in to sea, fly, predator, carp, coarse or match fishing if you need it they have it. The place is tiny but is so packed with stuff in every corner. The staff really know there stuff about all the tackle and tactics, and also the local waters. I would recommend them to anyone.

Used walkers for years for both my fishing tackle including bates and for shooting (air rifle for me but also do shotgun equipment too) staff a brilliant, very knowledgeable on both fishing and shooting. Supeb range of fishing equipment including rods n reels, poles n whips, floats, weights, lures, hooks etc etc etc as well as boxes, bivies, chairs n beds, nets, bags, holdalls and trollies. They also carry a welth of Fluff Chucking equipment (fly fishing) but thats not my Cupa-T. Upstairs is all the shooting equipment including new and used air rifles for sale, sights, silencers, holdalls, pellets, targets etc. Also upstairs is all the shotgun equipment including new n used shotguns, shells and safes. The store also carries a range of targets, traps and decoys for all your shootung need. All in a super independent store, highly recommend by me
