I came to the Oxford store yesterday the 13 th November at 3.40 and myself and my daughter decided to have a coffee in the cafe before leaving we queued and the people in front of us were served and then when it was our turn we were very abruptly told that the cafe was closed!!!!! This is rediculous as it was only 3.40!! And people were there drinking coffee!!! And there were no signs anywhere!!!! We will not be returning!!!!

Good price for most of the items. Most of the staff are nice and friendly but some are a little bit rude and probably dont know how to smile and couple of guys need to take shower more regularly 😄 The biggest problem is internet, I dont know what is with these big supermarkets, they block the mobile data signal and their WiFi never works so homebarhain please work on that

There is ample parking but the location is continuously marred by neverending roadworks. Well kept and management seem to be on the shop floor instead of in an office somewhere. The staff are helpful and they have a good range of products at reasonable prices. The quality of a lot of items is not exactly the best but that is reflected on the price. Another "It does what it says on the tin" shop.

I love coming here and feel bad about the 4 stars, but it's purely because none of the customers seem to social distance and I find I have to be patient and on the ball at same time! Otherwise, the staff are lovely, theres big screens by tills and sanitiser, guess I need to try to find a quiet time to come, even though it's always quite busy! Gotta love a bargain though!!

Recently managed to lose both my wallet and mobile phone here when they'd fallen out of my pocket, reunited after 30 minutes of frantic searching of bags - my only regret, and reason for rating 4/5, was store policy prevented me from being able to reward the member of staff who found and turned them in. I hope she gets a bonus at the end of the month for the unassuming helpfulness and honesty shown to this customer by her; and other members of staff - without their help id be writing this review with pen and paper.

This place has 'almost' everything under one roof. Friendly helpful staff. Value for money. Basic frozen foods, fruit n veg, sweets, cupboard goods and fridge food. Medicines, cosmetics, toys, stationary, baking, outside stuff and pet food plus seasonal offers etc. Nice big store and a traffic light system. Nice touch is if u forget ur mask (which I have done, and a walk back to the car) they have them on the cleaning station as u go in. Value for money too

This is the largest Home Bargains store in the UK and it stocks everything you will need to keep your pets happy and well fed, very important! A very large food and soft drinks section and long aisles of the harder stuff should you need it. There is a generally good toys section for the ankle snappers also a well stocked gardening section plants in basket, garden tools, compost and plant pots etc. If you want household items mirrors, lamps, duvets, cushions or bathrooms items chances are this store has it in stock, the prices are reasonable so if you enjoy spending take a look and you may find what you want.

Great. Enjoyed my shopping regardless of the people not knowing how to use their tongues and shoving past. One staff member (in full uniform) refused to move her shopping trolley so I couldn't get what I wanted and had to walk around for ages until she was gone so I could pick up a present for my friend

As the name suggests it is a very popular store recently opened, well laid out in aisles sign posted appropriately. It sells most household products and garden equipment and a good range of food and frozen items, do not be put off by the name pop in and see for yourself

Great range of goods but can be very busy at weekends. A colleague came into context with someone whilst being in store and had to isolate. People and families treat it like a day out. Hopefully with lockdown easing it will be better.

Nice spacious store, provides a disinfection station when you enter the store but its not always well stocked. The store is usually very busy and definitely not covid safe due to customers crowding and having conversations and meet ups instore. Overall the store is well stocked and great variety in particular food. Staff have been mixed - some on the tills have been extremely friendly and lovely. But some staff stacking shelves have been extremely rude to the point one time a girl just said "I don't know!!" abruptly and went to speak to another staff member about how they can't be bothered to do any work.

😃 first went to a Home Bargains store at Bilston M6 J10 in the Midlands times and prices have changed but I think you'll find it well worth a visit to the Botley Road store next to Aldi (that's handy) 😷
