Good store the staff are all really friendly. They advice you of the app which can really help with saving. I did find the kitten bowls where beautiful but impractical for food and water as they are so small. They will only be useful up to 8 weeks…My tip would be to check out the rabbit bowls they are quite cute but you kitten won’t out grow them

Went to this store to buy a hamster sadly cowley messed us about told us we could get one straight away I spoken to Luke the manager explaining the issue he was very understanding about this and was very helpful explaining how their store works with getting a hamster called up early morning to book a time slot managed to get the hamster we loved was very sorry about the messy about from the other store. I would use Botley store more often better staff and very friendly

A good selection of products and live animals. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's just a shame they don't do any marine aquatics. I am a regular customer and find it sufficient for my fish, cat and bearded dragon. They do a good selection of mice, rabbits etc too. Dog grooming studio on site too...I don't have a dog so can't rate that. Always plenty of free parking too.

The shop itself is good, clear layout areas clearly marked. Lots of dog and cat supplies. Like that there are a few animals to see as well. We went for small animal supplies and there really wasn't a great selection. We ended up leaving and shopping online. Prices were rather high too.

The staff are highly friendly and kind. But I purchased a sick rat from pets at home. Within a couple of hours his sneezes could be heard. Being an experienced rat owner I phoned them back up. They tried to say that he proberly caught a cold in transit from the store to my home. This is was unlikely. The also said it could be due to the environment. I took my little rattie back to pets at home within the first week of getting him. The vets their, and they paid for the treatment. However I discovered when I was about to leave being that he had lice as well. This was in the first week of having him.. I have spent a considerable amount of money paying for treatment. In which I gained a second opinion with another vet. Of course you don't expect all these issues within the first week off purchasing a rat. It's now about 2 months on now and my pet rat is happy and healthy. I am Looking to get him a companion, but it might not be from pets at home. Will see.. The staff again, are very pleasant and its a great place to purchase stuff for your small animals

Even though I live 30 minutes away, I chose to register with the groomers and vets in Pets at Home in Botley, because I was so impressed with how lovely and helpful the staff were when I first got my puppy. My puppy and I are now regulars and the staff (across the entire store) are always incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Very attentive groom team, they do a great job with my dog's nails and tried lots of different ways until they found a way that worked ok, and he HATES having then done. Only 4 stars as I think £32 is a bit expensive for a 30 min basic groom.

You don't need a pet to go in there you can just look at the near rabbits and mice they have in pens or you can by some of that fun aquarium objects (like little sunken ships or pirate skills) and just use them to decorate your house. But if you do have pets, boy oh boy what a great resource this place is. They have food and accessories all over and they let you take them after exchanging the items for money. So if you are planning on going I suggest you have two things: 1) Pets (not necessary though, just a suggestion) and 2) Money.

Great selection of food, and other necessities for your fur babies. Everything from bargain basement to top quality premium brands. The only negative is the extortionate price of larger items (e.g cat trees, toys etc. can be found significantly cheaper online), cat litter is also expensive (can be found much cheaper at a supermarket).
