Just ordered new stairs and landing carpet after being given knowledgeable help and advice from the staff in particular Elliott. Every thing explained in great detail i.e. properties of my carpet and underlay choice, measuring and fitting service and indicative costs. Ian promptly came out to measure and was 1st class particularly in explaining the way fitting was carried out. Finally, Jim called me very soon after and confirmed my overall requirements, total costs (very competitive I must say) and a fitting date in line with my expectations. Excellent service from all 3. Looking forward to the fitting.

I popped in a few nights ago and asked if by chance they had a spare cut of vinyl for a temp flat which the landlord offered to reimburse me. Karl (who is in sales) politely asked what size, and in a minute he was back with a nice cut of vinyl very close to the size I needed. Karl made our experience easy and friendly, no fuss, and he even offered to roll the vinyl the other way to make it easy to fit our car. If only more sales staff were like Karl. Thank you Karl, and Merry Christmas.

Recently purchased flooring for my Whole house. 4 bedrooms stairs and landing in carpet and my downstairs in LVT. Can’t rate this store enough. The sales team were very friendly and happy to help. Answered every question professionally and really tried to ensure I got the best material for my budget. When the fitters arrived they were friendly. Introduced themselves and took their shoes off!! Completed jobs looks incredible! Can’t recommend them enough. Will definitely be coming back!

My second time purchasing from Carpet Right in Peterborough in the last few months. The service was excellent and they have a wide variety of flooring on display. There are some hidden charges such as admin, which should not be put onto the custom in my opinion as the cost of the flooring itself, is very expensive. Every business involves admin, that's just part of doing business and is not something that should be used as an excuse to hike up the cost of a purchase. Delivery costs are also very high and for those reasons I will definitely consider shopping elsewhere in future.

Staff was helpful, however they made me worry a bit when i wanted to fold the carpet. Folding a carpet was always okay to do as long as carpet is higher quality so it wouldn't crack etc. Store cover themselves with signing a paper that customer accepts all responsibility. Other than that it was fine.
