Actually really good for a new store! It's still sad that ToysRUs was in it's place bit I have got to say it's a good supermarket. It has got a vast range of items and has a massive freezer section. Also in a convenient place with an Iceland, McDonald's and service stations placed right next to it!

Visited for the first time a few weeks ago. Surprised by the size of the shop and the vast range of products. Although on this occasion they didn't have what I was looking for, I will go again to have a better look round. Lots of things for the house and reasonably priced.

Great store can get most things that you need but bit slow on opening up other tills when there s massive queue just like on Thursday only 3 tills open out off ,8 ,and I drove 16 miles there then had to be back for grandson coming out of nursery only just made it back intime

Great place for a quick shop. End up going in for one thing and coming out with another. Staff at checkout are very efficient and friendly in my experience. Good ample parking even during busy periods.

Great selection of different food. I swear every time we go in, we find something new to try! Very good value for money as well, buying stuff in bulk is a lot easier. The only problem I have is that sometimes there’s only one checkout line open for some reason, even when there is a long queue of people waiting. It’s not a big deal though because it doesn’t take them very long to scan our shopping

Popped in the store on our way home from a day by the sea. Really helpful staff, the cleanest store I've ever seen. We bought a mattress the staff loaded it and took to the checkout and offered to take to the car. Great Service 😃

Great sized new store with free parking and easy access off the dual cartridge way. The store stands alone and is one of the largest Home bargains we’ve visited. Everything you’d expected from HB on a large scale great gifts, food homewares and electrical and usually very competitive prices. At the branch you will also find frozen and chilled foods too as well as the usual dried, tuned and packet foods well worth a visit

(it's 2021, that needs to be mentioned) Only thing that let it down on this occasion, dropping my five star review to a four, was the three members of staff stood in the entrance to an aisle, having a natter, making it near on impossible to get past and clearly not interested in moving to let people past.

Visited on 2/3/21. First visit. First impressions: The store was very clean and well lit, even at the back of the store. The aisles are spacious and there is more than enough room for two trollies side by side with space left over. The shelves were very well stocked and I only saw a single piece of stock on the floor (and that was just a cellophane wrapper). My only interaction with staff was at the checkout. The lady at the checkout was very polite, even offering packaging for the more delicate items (cups). Also, every member of staff I saw was smart and well presented. Access is pretty good. As mentioned above, the aisles are wide and a wheelchair user, buggy/pram pusher will have no problem navigating the store (not counting other shoppers of course!). The entrance and exit are perfectly flat and so also pose no obstacle to wheelchairs and buggies/prams. My only concern in this area are the checkouts. They seemed a bit narrow to me, but I was mostly concentrating on unpacking the trolley and then packing bags. They should be perfectly navigable for the aforementioned users. There is a decently-sized car park on-site and there are a couple of pedestrian crossings, with dropped kerbs allowing easy access to the store exterior. Note that I did not visit the garden centre and so my review does not cover that area of the store. Final verdict: I was very impressed and happy with my trip to Home Bargains and would happily recommend the store to any and all.

Really nice store but was really surprised that the cashier that served me was wearing no mask at all when all customers need to wear masks. Chatting away and very friendly but this puts other people at risk. I understand some people are exempt but if they are in a public facing role shouldn't they be wearing a mask or visor? It did not seem right to me when we are in a lockdown especially when they may be serving vulnerable customers Perhaps this is something management could address. Does this really follow covid guidelines in the workplace?
