Reviews of Peterborough United Football Club Shop
Attended the Peterborough v Middlesbrough match this past weekend and enjoyed my visit to the stadium. Easy access, friendly staff and even got to meet ‘Peter Burrow’. A real throwback. Nice team shop. Really enjoyed my visit.
Home of the mighty posh. Been going London Rd for years and finally our facilities are getting into the 21st century :-p drinks selection ok , food is hit and miss... As is the football :"(
Good ground, friendly staff making everyone welcome. Good family environment. Great facilities for disabled and wheelchair users. Always looked after by the club security team on match day. Peter Burrows is a legend🥕🥕🥕
A very small ground, leg room not to bad , view ok not enough toilets for a big away following but no problem's from the police or stewards ,and some great pubs near by
First visit to this stadium as an away fan . First impression is that the stadium has got some character easy access to the ground and plenty of food outlets both in and out of the stadium . Programme and food is by card only parking is just across the road from the stadium and £4 all day which is good and plenty of space staff are also friendly and helpful 👍
2nd visit...17-8-2021...big improvement in the stadium, though the away seating in the main stand definitely needs upgrading. Love the home stand...generates a great atmosphere for the home team....so a draw for us I feel was a good result.
1st visit Easter 1976...0-0 draw.
OK I am biased as I am a home fan.
For families, the best stand is the South stand. The upper tier gives good views of the pitch, whilst the lower tier gives reasonable intimacy to the players on the pitch. There is a good sized concourse beneath the stand.
The London Road end houses home fans who wish to stand. There are currently no seats. This will change if the Posh remain in the Championship.
Championship away fans are housed in the East stand, with overspill into the North stand.
The North stand is the least comfortable from a seating perspective but does offer good views of the dugouts from Block C residents. There is little shelter from the elements as this stand does not have a concourse.
For new Posh fans, I would recommend the family stand, as the seats and leg room are more comfortable.
Alcohol is not currently available in the North stand, if that is your thing.
Home and away supporters are welcome in the Venue. It's entrance is between blocks C and D in the North stand.
My son got a ball for his birthday and after using it for an hour we noticed it had chips out of the top layer, we took the ball back and explained the situation and the staff were really lovely and resolved our issue straight away no questions asked! I've just been into the shop to get my son a personalised shirt and again the staff were lovely and the shirt came out as I imagined and great quality!
On a football away day you park in a council car park £ 20 for a coach a then 5 min walk to the ground . Stewards were very friendly and helpful .only one drinks outlet could have done with two .Good day out I like the place would go again .
Good ground the view from the away end is good another tick on my list
Brilliant atmosphere had by all
Friendly and helpful staff and Home supporters, shame about the game and the floodlight failure in freezing conditions!
Nice welcoming stadium
Last game of the season,a great win! Lovely to see the manager and players circle the pitch applauding the support!
If in a wheelchair don't use the elevated area as the carers seats are loose chairs and have to be behind the wheelchairs so then the carers cannot see the match at all. We moved pitchside which was much better.
Two sides off the ground look really smart if the club at some point decide to redevelop the other two stands London road will look a really impressive stadium it was an over all great day out on my last visit .The club nickname The' Posh' is believed to have come from a former manager Pat Tirrell who early in the 1920's is attributed with saying he needs Posh players for a Posh team .The club have long standing rivalry with Northampton Town who they contest the Nene Derby and Cambridge Utd who they contest the Cambridgeshire derby
The club shop was very nice modern and plenty of stuff fir Peterborough fans. Complete contrast to the stadium which really run down and needs a huge investment
Love this shop and the club. Just a quick visit for some training wear for my son. A huge posh fan. As always you are welcomed with smiles. And there is a great choice of supporting wear to suit all budgets. 5 Star's from me
Great day with work excellent food
Visited recently as an away supporter and really enjoyed the experience. Away supporters are well looked after with food and drink outlets easily accessible and all totally enclosed under the stand and protected from the elements. Good atmosphere and very accessible. A great ground to visit.
Went to get tickets for Saturday the staff at the ground were very helpful as I had not been there before Looking forward to the game on Saturday
The Posh gave the Forest a really good game. Good luck for next season 👍
Love this place. Atmosphere brilliant. Always attendants and staff to keep rules un place.
Didn’t see a match, but the ground was easy to find.
An easy stadium to get to from the station. A great day out, just a shame about the result
I love my home team we are going up xxx
Great friendly club pleasurable visit, friendly stewards,
Nice experience
Tiny bar trying to serve nearly 2000 fans. Ridiculous.
I have been going since I was little so I will always be a massive posh fan.
I am 16.
Good ground but away stand are looking old
Dropped my husband off for a match. Able to drive to the entrance and get the scooter out for him. Very well looked after inside the ground and easy to find the disabled section. Good toilet facilities. More difficult to pick up after so met down the road.
Only sitting on wooden seats.
Very nice ground, and now with the new motorpoint stand. It is
a family friendly club, and is run on a good firm financial basis.
Darren McAnthony and his partners buy quite a few non league players and turn them into
an even better standard of player, before they sell them on at a healthy profit. Although the business plan is very good, this does not detract from the team
playing some excellent attacking
football over many years. As a
Bolton Wanderers fan, (and have just attended the match this weekend) I can appreciate the way this club is run. Keep doing
it your way, and you should have many more successful years ahead.
Small stadium not much room on concourse and big queue for toilets. Helpful friendly staff all around the ground with nearby chippy and burger vans by stadium. Easy nearby parking, good view of pitch a decent away day.
Tidy ground, a bit basic but good views of the pitch for away fans. Last minute winner always helps.
Brilliant shop if you are a Posh fan!!
The sponsors bar was very very well decorated and the buffet laid on was great, my only complaint was there was not alot of non alcoholic drinks to choose from and a bottle of j2o was £3,90 which seems expensive
Very easy visit, super friendly helpful staff.
Had a brilliant family time here, went using the POSH schools offer, with 1 child and one adult both free entry. We all enjoyed it immensely and would go again.
Saw the Posh v Wycombe Wanderers match, a royal 4 - 2 victory to Posh. 7 goals in all so an action pack match indeed.
Facilities top class, we where in the new Motorpoint stand all very accessible plenty of toilets and food counters.
6440 gate today too, all stands near capacity.
Fantastic place to get all your posh merchandise 👌👏👍
Nice venue, went here for a work conference. Staff were friendly, lounge was, clean, tidy and comfortable. The only downside was the parking, there were no attendents and people had parked all over the place.
Staff are very friendly and polite had food from the directors lounge absolute top class been back there 5 times since still quality
Lovely to see the posh boys crying when they lose in the last seconds 😢
Only able to see from the outside my youngest son wished to visit whilst in the area.
Love going here more local people need to back the club so please visit
Nice shop helpful staff everything you need from our local club
A mix of old and new with terracing still in use. It would be a pity to lose the stadium if the club moves but that is the price of progress.
Great old ground with loads of atmosphere, even if we did lose!! Top day out
Enjoyed the atmosphere . Nice old stadium
Nice little ground. Car parking needs to be clearer for away fans.. (over the bridge to the right-hand the lilo) polite staff.
Exactly what I wanted and great service UTP
Best support was at the away end
UTB
GOOD FACILITY
Nice little ground. Had some entertainment on before the match.
Okay for away visitors and good town for real ale pubs etc
I love going in to the shop. Great products and very helpful staff.
Best place in the world.
Nice ground and friendly locals to go with it. Street parking only so arrive early if you don't want to be walking miles.
Was a good ground friendly staff pity about the result
Never been actually. My friend lives behind the stadium. Think i'll give it a go soon though! I love my lower league football ;)
A typical championship football ground
Good football club really friendly atmosphere
Good day out . Good atmosphere .
Beautiful city .
Spent most of life here man and boy, as a supporter. Stadium getting dated now. Needs upgrading now.
One of the better grounds for a day out, close to town and enjoyable visit
Because my wife loves football and supports posh and glutten for punishment
OK stadium not very good away section
Well run club on matchdays. Nice atmosphere to bring children to watch football.
Great local club shame we have been sruck in league one for so long
Nice ground. Shame the away end is now seated. Home terrace still in place and we love it.
Was very disappointed with the home crowd - not many of them & very quiet, despite beating my team convincingly! Mean with the half time draw too - it was only a couple of hundred quid! Our is usually around the £1000 mark!
The best......er sort of....if your a posh fan
Average , very old stadium , food outlet next door to ladies toilet ( not very hygienic ) food out side was great .
Thoroughly enjoyable day out in the terrace, great acoustics for the fans to make some noise, and a nice mosh pit when the goals went in, as a football fan I can't ask for anything more really. Don't put seats in!
Great as a concert venue, very well run and organised
Fantastic stadium🏟️.. Brilliant for live shows👍
Despite sitting on the side of the pitch that says 'posh' the quality of human sat in close proximity to me was anything but.
Can't complain, bar could offer better beer.
Nice football ground to visit and takeaway 3 points
Can't be biased, but great stadium, toilets are easy access and disable friendly, food could be better and cheaper, but I've had much worse.
Made feel very welcome in this stadium. Will definitely return at some stage.
Great atmosphere especially in London Road Terrace. Good venue for parties for hire upstairs too. Bus stop outside.
A brilliant experience for all those footy loving families out there!
It's the home of my beloved football club
Proper old football ground. Standing terraces behind the goal Cant beat it!! Nice to visit, abit more about it than the modern breeze block stadiums.
The club made my children's first match a real experience, we'll definitely be coming regularly
A good place to spend every other Saturday.
Home ground of Peterborough United football club.
The home of football. An honest lower league club. Always entertaining
Ordered six items of kit to be personalised and was told it may be up to 14 days dependent on stock levels. Was thrilled to get a call less than 24 after ordering to say that it was ready for collection. Amazing service and the lady who served us in store was lovely and friendly too.
Great to be back
Well organised Covid wise.
Good atmosphere, reasonable value cateribg and comfortable seating
Come on Peterborough!!! JOKES lol 😉 nice enough place, nice staff
Amazing...The true home of football!!
Nice friendly club
For away fans
Nice ground with a good view from the away end. Narrow away end.
Had a great day with a lovely carvery and excellent 3
Good spot for training room or conference venue.
Vast improvement on previous visits since they got rid of the crumbling old away terrace
Great lower league ground, shame that at the time of writing this ,the team and the manager are crap.
Good shop. Staff were kind. Nice ground and would recommend stopping by if you're in Peterborough!
My boy loved doing the flag bearing day for new years eve great place
Great atmosphere . Nice ground
One of my favourite places to come and watch games and felt very safe
Let's look at and learn to play football here.
Reasonable old school stadium, some new stands. Stewards very friendly
It's a good football ground
POSH 2 - 1 Millwall
Being a fan I'm biased but could do with more disabled parking spaces, the facilities are good eateries are all on the ground floor so you have to go from top to bottom to eat.
Visited the business centre very nice environment easy free parking
Very nice, attended a training session very nice room and facilities.
Nice new stadium visitors' end
Family friendly, easy to get to, little atmosphere and expensive for the division they are in.
It's my place of worship...Posh Til I Die..
I would have given this 5 had my friend and I not felt ignored in the bar queue. We stood in a particular queue and then once the guy had served the person in front of us he then moved away!
Good to see the crowds coming back
This is the only stadium I've been to atm but i I personally think it's a very nice stadium 15,314 is a reasonable amount for a league 1 side.
Place us a bit tired...but Tom Jones rocked it
OK enough ground and facilities, decent day out.
Gd game first time coming here and won
Season ticket holder so I'm going to love it!
My club, so I’m biased, but I was involved in a charity event at the match today and everyone we met from staff, to players, to coaching team to supporters could not have been more helpful. A real “family” club at the heart of the community
Amazing venue and amazing staff x
Neat stadium, friendly bunch of supporters
Quite small compared to other grounds
As much as I don't like Peterborough, the stand behind the goal was of good standard and the staff were welcoming
Local. Great service from ticket office at all to times.
Brilliant football club best in england
Nice ground even if a little dated
The free viewing training sessions we attended was great the kids got to meet all the players and get autographs.
Near city center, easy to get to lots of car parks near,
Decent views and friendly enough
Won 4-0. Great team, great game.
Had s fantabulous evening seeing Tom Jones
Great family club
Attended a concert with Elton John - superb concert and the venue was very good.
Very good i love this city #uptheposh
I'm a posh fan, but I've been to anfield and Wembley and I have to say at London road are the best memories. It makes it a real special place for me.
Great match & hospitality, friendly club.
Atmospheric venue with exciting footy.
Great stadium with excellent corporate facilities.
I will always surpport my home towns team UP THE POSH
Great place to visit with mates or your family. If you want the best experience go to London Road Terrace seating. It (London road Terrace) could do with a decent amount modernisation but overall it's a great environment to be in surrounded by passion football fans who, win or lose will keep cheering on Posh. If you're a fan you have to visit.
Such polite professional staff. Inviting and engaging .An absolute credit to the Posh.
Not a bad ground for a league 1 side.
Also the offices of Allia Future Business Centre - a great place for innovation!
Football is good to whoch
Good place for working out
Home of the league 1 side, the mighty posh.
Lovely ground helpful staff
The away end is very old and cramped. We usually lose to them as well, and we usually play them on a cold and damp Tuesday evening and it's a long way home for a local derby. Hey, that's football 😅
Went and saw Tom Jones brilliant
I am thinking of going with my weekend family
Lovely stadium got a season ticket aswell😊
This is a great stadium Home of Peterborough United and is very nice overall
Went to Elton John concert, north stand had great views of the stage but the seats were very uncomfortable. Drinks expensive also.
We recently used the Noel Cantwell suite for a business event. The room was great with a fantastic view of the pitch; we were well looked after very well and lunch was spot on. Extraordinary value for money and highly recommended as a business meeting venue. Will definitely use again. Thanks POSH team!
Best team in league one.
Not a bad ground, getting old now though
Only did some work there
Saw Elton John. Good security, easy to get too. Excellent view of Elton. Hard seats!
A great place to go to
Went to a concert. (Elton John).
Well organised.
great atmosphere especially when posh winning
It's the best club in the land. Shop has wide variety of club souvenirs.
Go along, take your friends and watch Posh!
nice ground
good footballers
A reasonable stadium for division one. The away stand is old with woodern seats and there are some large supports for the stand. You need to choose seats carefully if you want to see all the action. Small refreshment bar serving usual hot coffees, teas, bovrils, pies, pasties etc.
Peterborough's local football club. We wish them well!!
Nice little shop
Pleasantly surprised by the place
A bit scruffy but much like many other League 1 grounds.
Didn't serve beer at half time . How sad this club is.......
Doesn't draw the biggest crowd but a nice ground
great stadium,,shame they have to get rid of the terracing
Great day at London Road, FA Cup 4th round. Stood in the London Road end with a great view up the pitch. Hotdogs are pricey though!
Best club in town
Old fashioned, that's how I like it
Best football team in England
The best ground in the country
Best team in the land.......
Great venue for a meeting
Would give 5 but a long walk to ground
My nephew just started playing for them come on J. W # 7
I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was awesome.
Great to see Pompey win at the Posh.
I absolutely love it here
I like it because I got here all day and all night
Well if support the Posh it's a must
Top groundsmen, what a pleasure to play on...
Great jumble sale by weight
December stadium. Locals are quite friendly.
best team ever
Can’t defend for 90 minutes. Hotdog was suspicious. £28 for League one football was steep. Still, 1-1 draw and Donny take 10 points from 12 over the festive period so well worth five stars.
Supporting the best team in the land
Amazing place as always
Up the mighty posh
Home of the best team in England
Because posh keep winning at home
Good family experience
Nice tuck shop
Ok but wooden seats
Peterborough have there ups and downs but at the moment they are on form and will probably get to the play offs unless the thing that happened to Dave Robertson happens to Graham Westley. i also think that when Grant Mcann took over for the 3 games he was fantastic and posh have no problem if Westley Goes.
Family friendly football club
The posh ground is always kept well
Only POSH :)
It's the football that counts not the venue
Love watching the posh
Very helpful and friendly staff
Love coming to watch Posh, despite the poor results!
nice venue for meetings
Good meeting venue
Support your local club!
Good venue..

Great place.
London road, Home to the mighty Posh
Best team in Scumbridgeshire
I got a free tour, didn't have to book anything.
Came here for a Pokémon raid
My first game was Posh V Crystal Palace in 1960, and I went on to attend most of the home games in the 1960's.
Then at 16 I emigrated to South Africa, and came back in 1986 and resumed watching the 'Posh'. However this time it was the away games.
I live in the North West now, and so attend the games up here.
Rochdale next Saturday, and I will be there.
Good place
Great place
Good party Venue
Its a good place
Peterborough United Football Club, home of the POSH in the ABAX stadium. A nice modernised facility which also supports sports and education community projects. For merchandise pop into the club store, which has easy onsite parking during the week. Matches have a really nice and friendly atmosphere. Best way to get here is by train but if you need to drive the best place to park on game days is the Pleasure Fair Meadow Car Park (by the railway bridges near by) or the Car Haven car park on Bishop's Road.
Always entertainment! UTP!
Love it, great building.
Not a bad stadium for league 1
