We always go there for the pet food and stuff. We also had a first puppy groom and the service was great. Customer service brilliant. When you have their app you can get a some discounts which is great.

My elderly dog Ruby has just been to the Groom Room for a full groom , she’s a 14 year old Labradoodle and is unable to stand for long periods the staff were amazing the enrolled help and support from team members and managed to work around her disabilities and gave her a full groom. Just like to thank the pets at home team for great service. Well done 👏🏿

Customer service is really good yong lady serving and answering phone sorry didn't get a name is a asset to this store on Thursday I rang they only had one bag of the dog food I was after. She helped me out I we got the food we need for our dog after waiting a few days for delivery from the other Peterborough store never came in.

Served by a man today at around 3.30pm on the till. He had great, genuine customer service. Was friendly and helpful. A short transaction but very pleasant.

Have been several times, and have had a nice experience each time. I've had some healthy aquatic plants from there for my home aquariums, and there is a good survival rate and a lot of variety. I bought some fish from there which appeared to be healthy and passed a 2week quarantine, but still managed to pass on Ick / whitespot to my community fish. They were fine, but I lost my favourite Betta, which was really heartbreaking. However, it's really understandable that disease is hard to keep to a minimum in large aquatics stores. All fish appeared healthy and there was only one noticeable sick fish which was dealt with immediately after I pointed it out. They have so very many toys!! I regularly get my Guinea pigs new toys from the store as they are such good value and my pigs really seem to enjoy a nice selection of both natural and plastic toys, which is exactly what they stock. They also sell a nice range of hamster, rabbit, gerbil, etc. toys, some of which are suitable for larger pets as well. The live pets all seem really happy and comfortable. Always looking clean, and having something to play with and hide in, which is really nice for them. The cages are nice and airy, but are secure so they don't feel intimidated. There is also a nice range of cat and dog toys. However, my personalised dog collar broke in a couple of months, and considering I paid a little on the expensive side for it I was quite annoyed the quality didn't match the price... Overall a nice store, whilst it isn't huge it stocks a LOT! 4/5* as overall nice, but quality of products need to be worked on, and new system should be implemented for the fish section to minimise disease spread.

Great little store. Due to it's size it doesn't always have the full range but you can find most essentials here or can order online to collect. They have a small section of aquatics and small animals to rehome to the rear. They also have a groomers above too. Easy to access due to it's location in Bretton Centre.

The service here is always helpful and friendly. There isnt often a long wait at the tills and they stock a good range. We were struggling to find a good pet stain remover and we got some good advice, they didnt just push us towards the most expensive product! The fish tanks here are kept well, the fish look very healthy and well looked after.

This one in Bretton is great because its a local easy to get to shop. I only give 4 stars because with it being smaller than the main one in Peterborough i sometimes am not able to get a product that i want. However the people that work there are always friendly and make you welcome. And if you are a regular with your dog like i am then they remember you and thats nice to have when you go in.

I visited pets at home bretton Peterborough on 3/04/19 due to a part being missing on our hamster cage, unfortunately the part isn't something that is sold, but it is necessary to stop the hamster from getting out. The system was down at the time of visiting so my details were taken to let me know if they could order it as a spare part. Paige was so helpful and managed to find the part but said it would take up to 3 weeks to come in, I explained we were due to pick up the new hamster this week to which she said she would take the part off the same cage they have in store for me to have. When I went in to purchase it, Paige got the part and when I asked how much I owe for it she was kind enough to say don't worry about it! The customer service was great, very helpful, genuine, kind, and welcoming. Thank you again to Paige

We visited Vets4Pets, which is located within Pets at Home. I must be honest, I was very apprehensive as I thought the vetinary surgery would just be a commercial add on... I usually attend a small, local vetinary practice but needed assistance on a Sunday for a non-emergency issue. I needn't have worried. It turns out that you can register your pet at more than one vetinary practice and the staff at the Bretton Vets4Pets were fabulous... the waiting and clinical areas are spotless, everyone was incredibly helpful and the vet that we saw was fantastic. Parking is completely fine and free of charge... I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
