I visited this store in preparation for our impending new additions. Having visited a different pet store the previous day, where I was disappointed with both product choice and the appeared lack of knowledge, Stef instantly gave me confidence that she knew her stuff - about pups and their requirements. There was no pushiness and when I returned the day after with other family members, she remembered me but still allowed us time to browse and discuss amongst ourselves, whilst also being there to answer our many, many questions! This store is definitely the one I’ll be using for our new little girls needs.

Hands down THE best pet shop I’ve even been too. The staff were very welcoming, polite and knowledgable. I knew from the moment I walked in my dog was in the best hands. Stef helped me find the perfect food for my dogs sensitive tummy. His coat is so shiny and soft already, the advice she gave me was incredible I can’t recommend this shop more. It’s perfect. A little pricey but you get what you pay for! Highly recommend. Thank you Stef for the great service, I will 100% be back. :)

What can I say.. we have a very fussy Bedlington Terrier.. tried so many different brands of food.. one of the staff called Georgia gave us a couple of samples to try.. Yep you’ve guessed it.. the more expensive variety went down a treat.. Georgia was so helpful and new so much about the various dog food so helpful!! Your a star!! Returned this afternoon and purchased a full sized bag.. would highly recommend this store.. if you’ve a very fussy dog try the mcAdams range!!

So impressed with the service from Steph when taking my rescue puppy for his first outing. We were struggling with lead walking and needed a harness which she sorted and fitted. Steph weighed Bear for us and answered all my questions on food, treats, grooming, ID tags and suitable toys. Nothing was too much trouble and she had Bear sitting for treats in no time. I recently bought a Pomeranian puppy and had absolutely no idea in terms of the best nutritional foods that where best suited for my pup. The advice that I was given not just when buying the right foods, but the outstanding customer service skills and the attentive and friendly nature towards my pup! After recently getting two puppies I went to the Peterborough branch of pets corner to look for treats and teething accessories etc. There I spoke to a young lady called Stefanie. She was most helpful pointing me in the direction of a few possibilities, outlining the pros and cons of each them. Went to Pets Corner for the first time last weekend. Friendly staff, whom were knowledgable. ‘Willow’ was made a fuss of by the staff. They were able to give us advice about making car journeys for her, a more calming experience for our puppy. As well as what chew items would keep her entertained for more than five minutes! So impressed with the level of care and knowledge shown by Laura when we recently bought a hamster 🐹 at Pets Corner. The shop is immaculate and you can see that the hamsters are happy, healthy and well cared for; Laura knew all their quirky characters, as she showed them all to us. She was so patient and thorough as she explained how to carry out the routine care and health checks. This was a fantastic introduction for my daughter to understand how to properly care for her new hamster, Tommy. I would definitely recommend Pets Corner for all aspects of pet care.

I went to the store to purchase a hamster and hamster accessories. Visited several times to make certain it was the right decision for me. Staff were very knowledgeable, particularly Thomas. It was obvious the animals welfare was of most importance rather than the sale. I had to show evidence of the hamsters future home (photo of cage) and show I had all the necessary equipment eg bedding, water bottle etc. Thomas talked me through the care of the hamster and gave the hamster a good inspection before I purchased. Staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. Winston is very happy in his new home and I will be visiting the store regularly for his essentials, toys and treats. HIGHLY recommended.

What an absolutely amazing pet shop in Peterborough at the Van Hage shopping centre. I was looking for a hamster for my daughters 13th Birthday present. Went into the shop and saw Stef, who was AMAZING!!! I said what colour of hamster we wanted and she said when they get the next delivery she will reserve us one, there were 2 of the colour we liked in the next delivery so she very kindly reserved them both for me until I came in to pick later on that day. We have been to collect the Hamster this morning and Stef did a FULL health check with us and gave us loads of help and hints on how to correctly look after Smokey. She was very knowledgeable and also very friendly and spoke to my daughter, rather than me as it will be her pet. Stef had also put a UFO wheel to one side for me as well 👍🏻 It was a great experience from start to finish and now I have one VERY Happy daughter - Thank you ☺️ ☺️

Started to use this store as opposed to another well known pet store in Peterborough. We have dealt with Laura and it is a pleasure to deal with someone who is not only pleasant and helpful but also has a great deal of knowledge about the products for sale. Love the fact my dogs are welcome in this store. Really nice staff work here too. Lots of independent branded treats, good toy and basket range. Such a shame the coffee shop a couple of doors down has closed as we loved to stop here for a dog treat and cuppa.

Always friendly and helpful advice. Helped me change my catfood to a more appropriate diet with the fallback that if the cats didn’t like it I could return the product. This is my go to pet shop for supplies, advice and a friendly chat. They stock good quality products at reasonable prices but charge nothing for the friendly advice and listening ear. Pets corner is one of the best pet retailers out their not only are the staff clued up on the foods they sell and the ingredients in those foods but provide a warm welcoming environment with the best customer satisfaction and tailor the experience to your pet and their needs I won't be shopping anywhere else!

They say first impressions, so here goes...The shop carries more stock for reptiles than say pets at home..Quite expensive though.. What was off putting was the fact that when we walked into the shop two members of staff were having some kind of meeting either side of the door...So we had to walk through the middle of them to enter the shop.. No movement from them at all, like we were ghosts...Same when we left some 10 mins later...Still in the doorway, no thankyou for coming.. In fact I almost said sorry for walking through them when leaving..Ok so heres the thing you are surviving because you sell goods to customers which I'm guessing you would like to return.. We will not be returning.. Its a pet store not Harvey Nichols... The young man who works there is very heplful...!.....

I visited Pets Corner a couple of days ago in search of a different food from the one our 12 year old staffie Poppy is currently on. I spoke to a very friendly and well informed young man called Toby. I explained to him that due to recent conditions diognosed, Poppy needed to change her diet. He listened and showed me a couple of options. The one he recommended addressed one of her ailments, arthritis. I was assured that I could pay for the small bag and if Poppy didn't take to it, I could take the open bag back and try a different one with no extra charge. On paying for the food, I spoke also to Ria. Again, a very friendly and knowledgable young lady. She assured me that the choice which Toby had made was the one she would have made too. How refreshing to visit a pet shop, ask for advice, actually be listened to and not be recommended the most expensive brand on the shelves. As it happens, Poppy loves her new food so will be back soon to buy the 12kg bag. Thanks Toby and Ria for your sound, informed advice. Look forward to seeing you both again soon. i'm really impressed with this branch of petscorner especially with their knowledge on pet care and how concerned they are as to where the pets for sale go. In May went to look at tortoise set ups and was asked about my tortoise knowledge and even asked about had I thought of his future as he'll hopefully outlive me, (me being on the mature side) before I was seriously shown the equitment needed. I had to wait to bring my lad home as they wanted to check he was ok and he had vet visits and 'poo' tests! I have since brought another from them and they always ask after them, can't praise them enough!
