K. R.I have used Bretonside Tropicals for the past ten years and have always experienced a pleasant atmosphere and the owner is extremely knowledgeable. He is always happy to give sound advice and one can also email the store with your query and his reply is always prompt and constructive.
Although the store is small in comparison with other major outlets, the wide range of fish and accessories are mind boggling! It's probably a good thing as one can be assured of a unique 'one on one' customer service.
The fish are extensive with both Tropical and cold water in store, and the price range vary, of which is completely understandable considering the exotic Tropical fish, compared with the less expensive cold water fish in store. However, I find the prices are extremely favourable and competitive with other retailers!
The fish are in great health and are well cared for. I think this reflects on the dedication of the owner, his extensive knowledge and of his high standards towards care and cleanliness.
I would go as far to say that Bretonside Tropicals is all you need for your fish tank needs!
C. G.Brilliant place ive been going here for years, brilliant selection of fish, very well looked after and a very good atmosphere and the owner is brilliant and very helpful.. I got two musk turtles from there yesterday with tank was my first time getting turtles and the owner was really great gave me everything I needed and very helpful advice to keep good care of my turtles. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone wanting to buy aquatic pets I've never had any problems with my pets in past 15 years ive been going here.
L. S. A.Great little tropical fish shop, plenty of fish of different types and sizes. Prices aren't too high either and the fish are of good quality. Has a nice range of different fish treatments and aquarium treatments. The owner knows alot and has been running this store long than I have lived, deffinatley worth a pop in.
