Called in for some advice on Fly Fishing with a view to purchasing enough to get me started. Brilliant service, had a lengthy conversation with David, never felt pressured into making a purchase and came away alot more knowkagable with a great little rod and loaded reel. Quite simply the best tackle shop I have been to. It has always annoyed me when people tell you to support your local tackle shop when I have found most to by rude, ungelpful etc. But this shop is a throwback! Excellent service and sdvice every single time. The owners have even privately message me on social media to put me into the fish when they have known I'm travelling to the area. Great stock for all types of angling and in particular for me an awesome variety of lures and lure angling related tackle. If I could get away with it at home, I'd set up a standing order to this shop 👍😀👍

Been using Simon for stocking my fishing supplies for a couple years now. Always a friendly atmosphere in the shop, and happy to share advise. Recommend to all anglers, especially those starting in lure fishing, as there is a wide variety of gear for the novice right up to the pros. Simon often runs species hunt competitions, which are great fun for all ages, and skill ranges.

Im a big fan of using the smaller local tackle shops and these guys are always keen on price and the shop is well stocked with up to date gear I do not live in Plymouth but I do use this shop when I am down there for all my sea fishing tackle . bait freezer needs some work though lol
