Reviews of Plymstock Library

The senior people helped me with my wasp sting ailment and suggested Witch Hazel. The cafe owner let me have hot water for my darjeeling tea. And the staff are good and so welcoming. And it has Plymstock Precinct next to it... a place to take your time and visit to get the essentials from the local amenities. Good place. GOOD people. Good community.

Gadgeteers over summer was great. My grandson really enjoyed it and lady asking him questions about books was so good with him.

Library (standard), which has a lively and very popular cafe on the premises.
The staff are very nice and they serve a variety of drinks, yummy looking cakes and savoury dishes.

I attended a recent book sale at Plymstock Library and was really impressed with the welcome extended by all the friendly helpful staff. It was really a pleasant experience. The coffee shop staff showed exceptional kindness towards other members of the public who needed extra help. Great coffee supplied with an extra jug of hot water. Full marks to everyone. Thank you.

Gone are my memories as a child of visiting this stuffy old library with bossy old librarians.
Today the library is vibrant and at the heart of the community. As well as books and children's corner the library hosts groups, talks and children's activities.
The library looks really modern.
The jewel in the crown is a fantastic cafe inside the library which brings people together.
The cakes are homemade and absolutely fantastic!
If you live in Plymstock, and remember what the library used to be like, pay a visit, it's great.
