From start to finish the service I received was second to none. The sofa is fantastic quality too. It was purchased for our new home and despite many cancelled delivery days coming and going because we still hadn't completed on our purchase, SCS couldn't have been more understanding. . easy to contact and reschedule a new date. Highly recommended and we will definitely use in the future.

We visited several furniture places yesterday and chose to come back to ScS today to make our purchase of two 2 seater sofas. Staff were friendly and informative without being overbearing. We were able to take time making final decision and were given guidance about preffered fabrics and colour etc. There was a very good variety of sofas to choose from and everything was clearly marked with options and prices. First time I've made a major purchase without leaving the shop and feeling unsure ten minutes later! Very happy so far with the store and the staff. Will leave another review once the order has been completed and is in situ!

Seen it advertised on TV so as I needed a sofa why not. Full Corona virus rules applied here. Was warmly greeted as I walked in and was explained the layout. Had a nice walk around without being bothered which is always good for me. A fab selection of sofas on display of all types and price ranges. And the prices were very good. A couple of the sofas to my eye so will be going back for second look. Thanks for the freedom to look around without bother. Well worth a look .

I saw the sofa on line that I wanted but went to the shop to look at others and see the sofa up close. Wasn’t disappointed. Very warm welcome when we arrived. Full social distancing rules in place and these were explained to us as we arrived. Made to feel welcome and the staff even apologised because they couldn’t give us a tea or coffee. Had a very helpful cheerful and quite funny salesman Paul Hillier who helped us through everything. Was very knowledgeable and explained everything without being pushy and without trying to sell us things we didn’t want. All the paperwork came through via email straight away. I am waiting for my new sofas to arrive in October and hopefully everything will be in order. and I will remain so happy and pleased we chose ScS.

First customers in so nice and quiet for a browse. We were looking for carpets which were just inside the store! Plenty of samples to browse, all priced and informative. Having lived in the area and driving past and seeing the big sales signs all over the windows, I have never been drawn into ScS before as the shop front never looked as appealing compared to other high street furniture providers, however we went in as we wanted to search everywhere to find the perfect sofa, especially as this was my partners and my first big purchase together and let me tell you, we couldn't be happier with our purchase. We were greeted with excellent service from start to finish by Natalie which nothing was too much to ask for. We'd been looking for some time and Natalie was a great help, very knowledgable and let us take our time. We visited a few times to check measurements and to just make sure it stood out from the rest and it was great to have her help each visit. Very easy company to deal with and would certainly go back to ScS should we need any other items.

On arrival in the store we were greeted, given basic information about the layout of the store and then left alone to browse. As soon as we needed advice there was a member of staff ready to talk to us. We were able to get all the information we needed without any sales pressure. We were also given a 10% discount when we asked for a best price. We were very happy with how we were treated and with the availability of the sofa we had chosen.

From the moment we arrived the salesman helped us through the Covid 19 routine and was on hand to help when we wanted to ask about fabrics or sizes.- without being pushy. We discovered a wide range of sofas. We were looking for a curved sofa ScS had three really good options . This was better than any other retailer. Visited yesterday to browse at carpets, ended up recarpeting our whole house as well as buying a new sofa set. The offers in store were brilliant, with great selection on both carpets and sofas. The sales staff are knowledgable and extremely friendly and very keen to help. The new social distancing rules were very easy to follow. Upon entering we were greeted by a member of staff who explained the new layout and precautions. Even with the social distancing rules and one way system it felt open and easy to navigate. A great experience. And have already had confirmation of our surveyor appointment for the carpet fitting. Would highly recommend SCS.

A reason the high street needs to remain open and flourish… “The personal touch” Pre Covid-19, we had just sold our house and were looking forward to moving to our new home. We were so close to completion that we decided it was time to start considering furnishing it. Amongst other places, we popped into SCS Plymouth & spent a lot of time with Josh, mainly looking for settee’s and flooring. He spent ages with us explaining the ranges and product spec’s & we went away extremely happy with the products we had selected & SCS in general. We agreed that we would be back in the following weekend once contracts had exchanged to pay deposits! Post lockdown, we finally got to move home and with Covid-19 restrictions in place the easiest thing in the world would have been to just place the order online & be done with it. However, after the time Josh spent with us my conscience would not let me do this & I really wanted him to take the credit for the order. He deserved the recognition for time & effort he put in with us. During these times there are going to be delays in manufacturing, shipping & fitting, it’s just something that we will all have to get used to for the immediate future, however Josh has always kept us in the loop, let us swap products to get a speedier delivery & even given us a “loan settee” to see us through. It’s a level of service that is unfortunately rapidly disappearing and should be commended when found. I must also say a big “Thank you” to Keith who was within an hour of breaking up for a weeks holiday but still drove to Cornwall at 5 o'clock to measure the whole house for flooring & the 2 lads that did such a superb job on the fitting. During torrid times SCS have delivered a fantastic service & it is very much appreciated. The people that work for them & the service they deliver should stand them in good stead for the future.

We went to ScS with an idea of what we wanted and the down to earth bloke (Jack) showed us the suite we were interested in. However it wasn't quite right for us and he proceeded to show us other types of sofas giving us different options. We found one we really liked and the service was really quite pleasant, relaxed and not pushy at all. We are very pleased with the sofa and are looking forward to its arrival 😁

My family and I visited the Plymouth store today and received a very warm welcome but not one of the salesmen were pushy or followed us around, like in other stores. A very helpful young man, Nathan, approached us when he saw that we had found a sofa that took our fancy! We ordered a three seater sofa, a love chair, footstool and a beautiful rug!! We left very happy customers and of course, Nathan made a good sale. Looking forward to delivery day!!

I needed to get a new suite so my sister bothers from SCS. Wen I arrived I was met by a sales assistant who politely ask if new what I wanted or if I needed help . Cannot express how amazing these guys are at SCS, we spoke to mark first , was very welcoming straight away, he asked what we wanted , and took us around to only ones he thought we would be interested in, he knew his stuff, explained everything to us , asked us if we had any questions then left us to browse and talk to each other , not at one point was he pushy , or rushed us , we felt at ease . The next day we went back to purchase the sofa and chairs . Other shops we had been in , we walked out as we felt pounced on... Travelled from Exeter to view a sofa sold here today. It's not at all often I say this, but I actually enjoyed spending money here 😯 Why? Because of the staff. Over the last week I've been to oak furniture land, DFS & sofology with the intention of buying a sofa and came away feeling at the very least, deflated. Today was a completely different scenario. Jay, the salesman I dealt with, was fab, as was his colleague from Yorkshire. We bantered to and fro and this made parting with money much easier to accept 🤣 As for the product, well, until it arrives I'll reserve judgment, but I'm not at all worried. I'm sure it will be fab!!
