Very friendly staff, always helpful - except one guy who when I asked if they had a specific lego blind bag which is normally kept by the till said "as you can see all our lego is on display", like customers can tell immediately where all stock is located and if any is out the back? - and very knowledgeable

Excellent, I had brought the occasional item on line but when I eventually found time to go into one of their stores I was taken back in time. So much entertainment and the prices of secondhand DVD series is unbelievable I came out with lost and homeland at a very reasonable price and will be going back for a lot more.

In my morning visit it was busy but plenty of staff around to help. The store was VERY clean and tidy, well lit with plenty of space for everyone to move around. After walking around I found my toys and joined the small queue for the tills. 3 tills running at this time meant my wait was not long. Till staff where nice, polite and quick allowing me a fast exit.

Got loads of toys prices are competitive, for your own sanity don’t bother going in there with you kids otherwise you’ll be driven made for ages. If you need to buy presents go there on your own it will save you the agony of having near on every item shoved in your face and a 2 minutes explanation as to why you should buy it for you little one 👍

A good shop situated in the mall, but almost always very busy and crowded which made it hard to look around. The layout makes it hard to keep sight on young children who get excited looking for items.

Went into this toy shop for the first time today. I was surprised how many toys were at a good price, and some good reductions. Found the perfect present as they had a good variety. The staff were so polite! They really are a credit to the store. One member of staff went out of his way to help me. Excellent experience!

Some toys are a lot cheaper than Argos, & Smith's & vice versa, bit this place is always worth a look. This is a lovely shop the kids can pick up toys & no one bats an eyelid, the staff are always ready to help you & are very friendly. Love the entertainer

A lovely little toy store, it has some fantastic toys, games and kits (soap making, slime making etc) at really good prices. I bought three large presents and two large rolls of wrapping paper for £15, an absolute bargain. The cashier was really friendly and knowledgeable, proactively pointing out how I could gain a better price by substituting an item. Recommend.

Took my 20 month old granddaughter to The Entertainer to buy her a little present and she loved it. She found lots that excited her and had a great time. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and I will definitely be going back.

Lovely toy shop and very well priced. I'd advise not to use the online ordering, it takes forever and the staff are, well I shouldn't judge. Never the less there's something for every child here.

Nice toy shop on the top floor of the mall in Plymouth. The prices are very good, got a game of scrabble £10 cheaper compared to waterstone's. Be aware though that this shop doesn't open on Sunday's due to their company policy. Good to see some shops still have some ethics. I'd bet the staff are happy even though the customers probably aren't. Personally I think six days shopping is enough for anyone, but in these days of internet shopping it's a risky gamble.

Used to enjoy for the big range of Star Wars products, often at good prices. Now less appealing to older children who have outgrown PJ Masks and jigsaws. Always remember shop is closed on Sundays.

There is always a bargain to be found at this store. Girls and boys both equally provided for. This store seems to turn its stock over fairly quickly so always worth a peruse if your kids have been good. Go there at sale time and buy all your kids friends party presents in one go.

Besides Facebook marketplace or gumtree this is a great place to get toys for kids that will only play with something a couple of times. If you look enough here you will see alot of discounted items that actually make it worth buying. My boy loves paw patrol but I refuse to pay £5 on one of them mystery tiny toys in places like Tesco. I go here and they are usually discounted to £1 - £1.50. ideal. I don't mind getting them at that price. Helpful staff and a great selection of stuff.

One of the very few specialised toy shops left in Plymouth, with the demise of an independent and toysRus. They are situated on the top floor of the mall, near the top of the escalator which means that many people are not even aware of their existence, because it's not a place you pass on the way to somewhere else. Multi-storey parking is integrated into the mall structure, though, so if you are prepared to pay for that it's all under cover. They stock a good range of toys for boys and girls - probably the best in the city centre because of the lack of competition. This does not mean that they don't try. Quite the opposite - the staff are friendly and genuinely helpful. I went there just to buy some chalk (which is way out of fashion, apparently :-). The guy recommended several other places to go, although there was nothing in it for them. If you want to be able to see toys before you buy them &/or you are clueless about fashionable toys, this is a good place to go.

"The Entertainer" is one of the first tunes you learn to play on the Piano. If you learning the Guitar you need to learn "She'll be coming round the mountain" and "Michael row the boat ashore". I can play "Axle F" on the Piano and "Chopsticks". If I'm being honest, I'm a better Dancer than Musician. I like making friends and preparing Salad. I also like The Entertainer Toy Shop you can buy Meccano there and build a sarcastic robot.
