Ample parking outside of the store, disabled too along with disabled access. Well stocked store, clean and tidy. Pet friendly and staff are very friendly to both pets and their owners. I use this store often, never encountered any problems.

Staff are very attentive, offering help and support with a smile on their face. Always a pleasant experience, lots of products available just stock can be low. Only reason it isn't a 5 is bevause the online stock checker doesn't reflect the store, we've been twice this weekend for things for our new kitten and have been let down both times despite the website saying in stock.

I had my daughters dog groomed here, 1st time I had used them, very pleased with the treatment he had, the staff were friendly. Whilst my pooch was being groomed, I treated him to a new collar, lots of choice and quality as they do with most products they sell here. Went to buy a harness for my rottweiler cross ready for our holidays, Claire the shop assistant was great with him She made sure the harness we purchased was a good fit, she advised as to get the next size up to allow for growth (he is only just 1) whilst ensuring it was just right (thank goodness at £42!) Super service every time!

I liked this store. There were many exciting ideas for enriching your pet's environment, so that the pet can have a enjoyable life. We all know how important it is to provide stimulation for our dog, but perhaps we don't always think about stimulation and play for smaller pets like mice and guinea pigs. The staff were friendly and helpful and were able to reassure me that the store complies with legislation on sourcing the animals. The pets available were in clean enclosures.

Great place for pet supplies and dog tags are available. A lovely worker told me and explained the new laws about the tags and she was very helpful. We ended up buying two tags for both of our dogs after one of them had broken.

Great place for info and help with all pets. Employee Scott it a credit to pets at home. Great knowledge of all animals. We have been in numerous times over the past year for fish for my daughters tank and he has been a great help with helping us with information setting it all up. Today we went in and adopted a rabbit and bought all the accessories for it again Scott was bang on. That bloke deffo needs either a promotion or pay rise. Excellent customer service whenever we come into store off this employee. He definitely deserves some extra recognition for the work he does. We are even going back tomorrow to adopt a second rabbit. The staff here are always up for a friendly chat, always smiling a greeting you on the way in and out. The reason i go here Is to buy mice for my 6 year old corn snake Stella she has never turned her nose up yet sometimes she can be very particular on what mouse she likes they can't be to big or to small has to be just right. Thankfully pets at home have a great system on how they display the different sizes they are simply in a mini freezer labeled the different sizes.

Don't often write reviews however, I was running really late and needed some chicken feed and it was 3 minutes till closing time. Always come in here when visiting the capitol centre. I like it as there is always dogs in there 😁. Staff are friendly and the animals do look clean/healthy every time I've been. I've bought a few small animals there with no problems afterwards. Have a great selection of items. The only thing with pets at home is the price of everything. It's so expensive compared to somewhere that sells animal items but isn't a pet shop.

I visited the vets4pets at Pets at home.This practice is very professional and friendly. On the negative side of the pets at home store Capital Centre it does not carry their own brand dog food I need for my allergic dog. I have to go to their store on Preston docks. I do think they should keep all the varieties of their own makes.

Top store and top staff - they did me a brilliant deal on 2 fish tanks and 20 goldfish that look exactly the same. Now when my daughters fish inevitably dies I just swap it for another before she wakes up, winner winner goldfish dinner.

My girlfriend has a Cockapoo called Barney and he absolutely loves visiting this shop too, he gets treated like a puppy prince and always comes away with a treat or some sort of dog attire that we have purchased.
