Very good library..staffs are really helpful and friendly. They have a large variety of books for children.I’ve been engaging my kids with some wonderful books during the lockdown. Their services during the pandemic was absolutely Remarkable and amazing.I’m waiting for them to restart the toy library .My only concern is about the toilets.It’s not tidy and hygienic. Wish they would take some action .

Very helpful staff and nice place to study in peace. You can have a free membership which allow you to use the library wifi for free. Also you can borrow any book you desire and return it using the self help machines which are very easy to use.

Been superb over this crazy Covid period. Obviously had to to shut for a bit but has reopened for loaning items. You can order books online or over the phone. You arrange a collection slot and pick your items up. All handled very safely and professionally by the dedicated staff. Great job, much appreciated that you guys are out there.

Google map got me here from the reading train station in 7 minutes. Really helpful and office for visa application is on the first floor. Just check in on ground floor (Children's library section).

Most things in Reading Central Library appear okay & acceptable. However, specialist books on some areas such as human nutrition, are scant. Hope the future policy of the library be catching up with the advancement in the field of science !!!

Lovely library. Had a visa biometrics appointment. Everything very well organized, good hygiene and distancing measures in place. Very helpful staff.

Quiet place and great staff. Every room has its own "code" so you know if it is allowed to eat or speak at the telephone there or if it is a study room where every noise should be avoided. The membership card can be obtained in few minutes and if you have a Reading passport you can use that. It has workstations free to use to up 2 Hours and self-service printing service with fair prices. The Wi-Fi is fast (up to 60Mbit). The only problem are the toilet facilites, they open at 10:30 - the library at 9 - and close half an hour before the closing time. I only know about the male's, they consist in one toilet and two urinals for the entire bulding! Useless to say that the toilet is almost everytime unusable. I would like to give 5 star but this library is not suitable for long studying sessions for the problem explained above.

PROS: - convenient location, - nice and quiet if you wanna study here, - helpful staff, - okay selection of books (newest items require some wait time), - possible e-book loaning, - WiFi. CONS: - a bit short opening times (opens late and closes too soon; Tuesdays and Thursdays are a bit longer).

(Translated) It is a venue where documents can be submitted and biometrics can be collected for VISA applications from within the UK. I felt like I was borrowing aside of the library, I waited for a while reading a book. I visited on Saturday, and I participated in the nursery rhymes event for children on the first floor, so I joined with the children. (Original) UK国内からのVISA申請において書類提出と生体認証（biometrics）採取を行える会場となっている。図書館の脇を借りているという感じで、待ち時間は本を読んで待った。 訪問したのは土曜日で、1階で子供向けのnursery rhymesイベントをやっていたので子供と一緒に参加した。
