Took 2 girls to build a bear in Southampton yesterday, during half term. They had a awesome time and the staff helped them to choose all the beats, clothes and scent. Very friendly. They were both given a budget and the staff helped both girls choose what parts of the bears they had to buy. Only problem we had was the birth certificates as they wouldn't accept their surname. I came back less wealthy but the girls had 2 bears that they adhore and loved.

Awesome place to buy a personalised bear. The kids can get involved during the process and will receive a teddy bear birth certificate. Some Disney plushes cost more, definitely recommend.

Recently held a party here for my 7 yr old daughter and 5 of her 6/7 yr old friends - I booked the awesome package and was sceptical but they all had an amazing time - Lexi our party host was great - engaged the children and was in 'control' when needed to be with 6 rowdy girls!! They all left happy and I was pleasantly surprised at the whole experience - well done and thank you Lexi - was worth every penny!!! Tracy x

The kids love this place! There is something magic about being able to pick the bear you want, stuff it and give it a heart. The bear even gets a birth certificate!! With 4 kids, I have LOTS of there bears around the house and the all last for many years. We had one which the stitching came loose, we took him/her to the store and they made him good as new!! Even if you're not buying, we'll worth a visit!

Staff where extremely friendly and made it all about my son which was nice. Everyone was wearing masks and they made sure there weren't to many people in the shop at one time. The prices of the bears were really good and we managed to buy 1 whole outfit and the bear for just over £40 which I thought was a very good price.

Fantastic shop. My daughter wanted a build a bear cuddly toy. I had a voucher which a very helpful member of staff told me about the restrictions etc. She chose her 'bear' ( confetti leopard) and then we chose her heart (had full cemermony) for a wish, she was then able to aid with the filling, naming and got birth certificate. Staff were really helpful and informative. Many thanks she loved her first visit.

Their sales advisors are always so friendly but their products are hugely overpriced. I appreciate the kids love but once they've done the Build A Bear experience once-they're just purchasing another teddy for a good £20 a pop... not my fave shop & I'm sure most mum's feel the same 🙈

We just want to say a massive thank you to the staff at this store. Yesterday our family dog passed away and we wanted our daughter to ‘build’ a dog that she could have to always remember him. My wife spoke to a member of staff beforehand as our daughter was a bit upset. The staff were so sensitive about the situation and made the experience very enjoyable for our daughter. She named the dog after our family dog and bought accessories to remind her of him. It was a perfect way for her to make a tribute and the staff helped make it possible so thank you.

A huge variety of beautiful soft toys which you can stuff yourself put hearts in and buy clothing for your bear. You can take your bear/soft toy back to have it plumped back up with stuffing brushed and spruced up. An absolutely brilliant place that I would thoroughly recommend.

So noisey, but the staff are great and my daughter loves this place. The bears are great and the accessories are neat. Very child centered and I am not sure I like the emotional blackmail tactics, but it works well and I usually get separated with more money than I had wanted.

Very expensive once you have built the bear added it's scent and heart beat and message inside and clothes and accessories, but the staff were very helpful and made the exspirence for my girls magical, the both got exactly what they didn't know they wanted before they entered and left with smiles on there faces and I left with a second mortgage. Build a bear has become a right of passage for all young children at some stage and although I may have not left very happy my kids sleep every night with there toys and that makes me happy, pricey but worth it in the long run.

Busy but fun. Grandaughter enjoyed selecting her new friend. She also chose her bonus Birthday bear. 'Thank You 'Build a Bear :-) great idea, recognising child birthday. The staff are all friendly and interact with the children in store to ensure a great experience. A hole found in bear produced was quickly resolved with a new creation again no trouble approach from creators involved. 5 stars given for today's visit, well deserved.

I came into store a couple months ago, not for a particularly nice reason, I was buying bears for two young girls who lost their dad. When in the shop there was a lady I believe she was called Maria, or Marie, I can honestly thank this lady enough, she was soo helpful, very kind and polite! I wasn’t aware that you could put a voice in the bears and she told me, however I didn’t have the recordings I needed. I purchased the bears and she said they would put the voice boxes in whenever I was ready. I went back to store the next day and again she helped me out and put the voice boxes in! I can’t honestly thank you enough for how helpful you were, as expected the bears went down brilliantly, the guy who died identical twin brother now wants one ❤️

Wonderful place full of beautiful bears in all colours and different styles. There are many different stuffed toys in many colours. There are bears, dogs, unicorns, to name a few. You can fill them yourself, or staff will fi them for you. You get to have a squish to ch they are full enough. A heart that beats is available, around £4.50, or get a standard one. Clothes are available in many styles. These are available from £5.00.They come with a white carrier box that the recipient an colour. Coloured boxes are available at an extra charge.
