D. C.Visited CareCo to purchase a riser/recliner chair. We were attended by Ben who introduced us to the large range of chairs on show. He was informative without being “pushy” and encouraged me to try several models I liked the look of. Having made my choice, he completed the paperwork quickly and efficiently giving me all the details about delivery procedure. A pleasant buying experience. The chair was delivered on time , assembled and thoroughly demonstrated and is as comfortable and useful as I hoped it would be.
A. M.Great service from Kevin and his team. Took a while for us to choose the correct mobility scooter but with Kevin’s guidance, we made a good choice. Delivered 2 days later, so no complaints. Very efficient and helpful service and great product too. Cost wise, compares very favourably with others we had seen at other suppliers.

There was a walker situated near the door so dad could walk to the back of the shop to look at the alternatives using it with ease which was a great idea. We meet Adam who was very professional and knowledgeable about their products. My partner tried out the walkers and we purchase a lovely walker, exactly what we wanted, very reasonable priced.

C. S.Being in the market for my first mobility scooter, I first went to a business (which shall be nameless) but had been recommended to me. I was sadly disappointed by the attitude of the sales lady. I felt that I had interrupted her snooze!!
I then went to CareCo in Maybush, Southampton where I was met by a friendly and knowledgeable young man, namely Adam Mansfield, for whom nothing was too much trouble. He helped me choose the perfect scooter for my needs, and also demonstrated how to assemble and disassemble it. He also explained and showed me lots of other items which I might find useful, but at no point was he trying to push me into buying anything else. I did however find a few other things which I might not have thought of without his guidance.
In short, well done CareCo, and particularly well done Adam!
T. (.Accompanied my friend to CareCo this afternoon to purchase a wheelchair to help with mobility. Was assisted from the moment we stepped through the door by Adam who was very polite and kind, letting us test multiple chairs and advising on them as we went. We ended up finding a suitable one and we’re spoken to very kindly by Kevin for the sealing of the purchase and getting to take a picture ! Would certainly come here again and can recommend. X
k. s.I took my mum to look for her first mobility scooter. The help we received from Ben in store was fab.
Both of us being complete novices about them at all.
We were directed to the models best suited to my mums needs, were shown how to dismantle and put back together,several different models, were able to feel the weight of each dismantled component, my mum received a comprehensive lesson on all the functions and was shown how to control/steer. Then was able to do some practise runs around the shop.
Absolutely nothing was any trouble and we felt really well looked after, by Ben specifically but all the staff were very cheery and happy to help. Thank you

Sorry no five star which probably hasn’t to do with the store but Careco itself. One is given a £10 off voucher but only if you first spend £100. Given the amount most people send in store this is a bit of a have on. Come on Careco you can do better than that.
J. M.I went to CareCo Southampton for a 4 motor riser recliner with a lateral back. I was expecting to have to wait months for one. I was served by Benjamin who had only been at CareCo for a couple of weeks, you would have thought that he had been there most of his working life. He pointed me in the right direction and came up with the perfect chair, and to cap it all I only had to wait a few days for it. Very pleased with CareCo and even more pleased with Benjamin.

P. C.I visited CareCo on 3rd April 2022. Initially my impression was of a light airy showroom with many items including scooters, power chairs beds riser recliner chairs and probably much else too.
I had a specific set of needs from a mobility scooter. Only then as I approached the desk was the showroom staff, in particular Adam M asked if he could help, I revealed the specification of scooter with pneumatic tyres and all round suspension. He was spot on when he began to show me that specification scooter. He was very helpful and knew his stuff giving me the confidence to buy,I've had a few scooters and powerchairs and the scooter was just perfect for me as I am short, 160cm tall and just 60kg. So I don't need a strong heavy scooter, Adam didn't rush us as I tried out the scooter he recommended. Even outside on the car park over relatively bumpy drain covers where I could immediately tell how comfortable the ride is. We looked at many more aids and again Adam was on hand to guide me through all items I saw. The five star rating is fair and accurate. The whole experience was a joy, and I would urge and recommend CareCo. Who are on line. As well as having the benefit of a hands on showroom. It ewas a pleasure spending my money with CareCo

I knew beforehand the model we required and Steve was very helpful on the day taking us through a full product demonstration of the wheelchair we had chosen. He spent time explaining the various functions and options and this was very useful to us. Thank you for all the assistance you afforded us on the day and mum loved the wheelchair. Visited with my 90 year old grandad today as he has decided to give up driving, however still wants to keep his independence. Kevin took the time to show us some nice models and grandad had fun on his test drive. All questions were answered and nothing was too much trouble. Added bonus we got to hear some funny stories. Couldn't recommend him enough.
M. H.On the 19th May my son and I visited the CareCo showrooms in Southampton looking for my first mobility scooter. We were dealt with by the manager, Kevin Bacon and one of his assistants, Adam, Mansfield. They were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. After checking various scooters and trying them out, they answered all my questions and I was very happy to order one for myself. This is a good firm with excellent staff and I am happy to recommend the company.
H. H.I have visited the Southampton showroom three times in the past fortnight to get a powerchair. The first one wasn't quite right so needed to return it and reorder. I was helped by Claire and Adam, both of whom were extremely helpful and professional and made the process as easy as possible. There was a good range of products to choose from and the staff were very patient and knowledgeable.

We were uncertain as to which machine to buy and returned to the Careco showroom at Cheltenham as it is far nearer to our home in Bristol and ended up purchasing a scooter from there. The staff equally as friendly and helpful. Excellent company to deal with. Would certainly recommend them. Careco are opening a showroom in North Bristol soon and I am sure it will be a great asset to the community.

R. S.We visited the store today, 24/07/21. Overall it was a good experience. The shop was well stocked with reclining chairs , which is what we came for, so plenty of choice.
We weren’t rushed and found the staff member who served us very helpful. (Adam)
The only (lighthearted) comment , was as we were doing the paperwork , I was finding it difficult to hear Adam as the staff member on the desk nearby was on the phone and was quite loud! I did ask ( jokingly) if his volume could be turned down!

R. f. T. i.We visited Careco Southampton today (3rd June 2021.) we where looked after by Kevin Bacon who was so helpful. I explained what I wanted, he took me through all the options and took the time to let me get a feel for what I needed. I find it very hard accepting and adapting to a life with mobility issues so Kevin’s friendly and helpful nature really helped put me at ease and made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable! It meant so much to be treated like a person and not just a body in a wheelchair! I would highly recommend this store and the fantastic service their staff provide! I will not hesitate to return back to this store in the future. thank you!!

M.came with my 83 year old father to choose a mobility boot scooter, were served by the store manager who was fantastic and very informative and helpful cannot fault his attitude and customer service, nothing was too much trouble for him. However when we came back to collect the newly purchased scooter the sunday sales man made me feel that 'care co had had dads money' and he was just going through the motions. The customer service was very different. yes he showed us how to assemble and disassemble the scooter but it was dull and felt like he did not want to be there. Also something i thought rather unprofessional was that the sales lady was sitting at her desk eating her lunch.

After a very short wait in the otherwise busy and attractive area during which we had the opportunity to inspect some of the many mobility aids on display, we were given full and informative demos of two models in which we were interested. The demonstrator (Adam Mansfield) impressed us both by his knowledge and objectivity. The result of this very enjoyable experience was the purchase of a Li-Tech Neon 30 which we look forward to having delivered.

We were looked after very well on both our visits by Adam Mansfield. This young man gave us good advice, showed us kindness, consideration and efficiency. I checked out scooters and took several apart to check ease ofloading into my car. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and I will be buying. Meanhile, I bought some useful items in the shop such as a 'grabber' and a holder for my blue badge.

Y. S.On arriving at Careco Southampton, me, my husband and my mother were greeted by Adam, who instructed and assisted us with the stores requirements for COVID19. We informed Adam what we wanted to view. Adam, showed us what we were interested in. We also tried other products, unfortunately none were suitable. Eventually we did purchase a product.
Throughout Adam was very patient, as we viewed several products and had a few mishaps whilst trialling them. He was very informative and knowledgeable of the products and assisted in our decision in whether they would be suitable. Ordering and paying for our product was easy, with Adam explaining and giving us information on extra warranty and insurance, with no pressure made on buying these extras.
Overall our experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you Adam for your assistance and knowledge.
S. B.I needed to buy a reclining chair for my mother so visited the store Careco in Southampton, I was served by a really helpful Adam Mansfield he was patient and knowledgable which was a big help as I had no idea on what chair to buy.
I paid for the chair to be set up for my mother and to elevate any stress on the care home staff.
I was called by by a man called Dave who was to deliver and set up the chair and he too was very helpful as I can’t go into the Home. He called me once again after setting the chair up and explained everything to me which was very assuring.

I was most attentively assisted by Kevin.
He actually listened to what i required, as im relatively inexperienced, i had a few queries. He was both patient and extremely knowledgeable.
I expressed the need for comfort, he immediately and rather expertly provided many options.
I had concerns regarding the positioning in the room, but he demonstrated that was not an issue, it would be exceptional, no matter what room it would be in.
Lastly I queried durability, as I'm sure you can appreciate no one likes a product that simply will not last... Again, Kevin assured me i need not have any concerns.
It's always wonderful when they take time to go above and beyond your initial expectations to ensure you're happy and satisfied with your product!

I. t. f. u.I’m old and becoming increasingly disabled so, as you can imagine, coming to buy a power chair was a big step into the new way I have to live.
I’ve been twice now for two different products, with different salespersons. They couldn’t have been nicer and less pushy salespeople if I’d chosen them myself. Adam served me yesterday, and Claire helped me both with purchasing the power chair, via my daughter, and previously, the the 3 wheeler tri -Walker. Neither tried to encourage me to buy the more expensive models. A very good experience. Thank you.

M. B.Visited with father in law today. We were greeted by Adam who gave us gel to put on hands and then asked how he could help. We explained we were just wanting to look at the different scooters as father in law wasn’t sure if he wanted one to go in car or a larger pavement one. Adam was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and whilst we didn’t make a purchase father in law says he will definitely be back once he’s made his decision. I am also disabled and often purchase items on line but now I know about this store & the excellent service they provide, I will be using them to make my purchases in the future.
K. B.Have been to the Southampton branch twice to research mobility scooters. The environment was very covid safe with restricted customer numbers and hand sanitiser available throughout our visit. As a younger customer I was looking for modern looking mobility scooter that would also meet my needs. Kevin Bacon looked after us on both occasions. He has fantastic product knowledge and was so kind and caring. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Kevin allowed me to try various scooters indoors and outdoors to make sure the spec was exactly what I needed. Kevin even introduced me to the idea of power chairs, just to give me another option to consider. He was polite and patient and fully understood my needs. I highly recommend Kevin & his customer service and would like to thank him for all his hard work during these difficult times. Now I can't wait for my new scooter to be delivered!
M. B.My daughter and I recently visited the Maybush Southampton branch to buy a new wheelchair for my daughter. We were served by Claire who discussed our requirements with us. It was an easy decision which one to buy and the whole process only took a few minutes.
She told us delivery would be three to five days but because of the ongoing issues with Coronavirus/Christmas it may be a little longer. In fact the chair arrived just after eight the next morning so thank you Claire for your help and also the ‘back room team’ and courier for getting it to my daughter so swiftly.

J. G.Very easy parking was the first good thing at this Maybush store. I went to buy a rollator as I'm not steady on my feet and can't walk very far. I couldn't believe the choice they had. There were at least ten to choose from, in different colours, designs and a range of prices. I was expecting to pay a lot more after looking at thses online and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product for what I paid. My Endeavour rollator has a padded seat, height adjustable handles, front wheels which turn in any direction and a carrier to put things in underneath the seat. It is also surprisingly sturdy for something that is so light to use. It really was what I needed and the man who served me, Adam, told me everything about the product before I chose it and put it in my car for me. I didn't feel pressured into making a purchase.It was excellent customer service and I would recommend this shop to anyone. It has a great choice of so many disability aids, you'll probably be in there longer than you think. Oh, and I chose a pink one!

There was a good range of products from reclining chairs to motorised chairs. The sales person was friendly, polite and very helpful once we had made our decision. He also allowed the time and space to look at the product, you didn't feel like he was going to jump in and try to sell you the most expensive item. Onec we had made a decision, ordering was easy and quick. If we should require other disability items in the future, CareCo will certainly be a first call.

He showed us how to fold the scooter and said it comes with it's own suitcase. I asked about insurance and once again he was very knowledgeable. He checked stock availability and we went ahead with purchase. By the time we got back home to Portsmouth e.mails received goods had been despatched the same day. The prices were reasonable and plenty of Mobility equipment available from chairs to scooters. If you are thinking of buying any mobility equipment I recommend you go to Care Co before any where else. They have internet links which are easy to find.
