These guys and girls are the best! If you ever need anything reptile /food/questions? These are the ones to listen to! I've had snakes, spiders etc etc any little issue I may have there's nobody else I'd even contemplate to talk to! Extremely clean and tidy! One of our children wanted a tortoise as a pet. We could have acquired one online but thought we needed some proper advice first. Southampton Reptile were brilliant. So many businesses could learn from their level of service. Called first to check we could come in, spoke to my son on the phone for a few minutes. Visited with him to see what he would be letting himself in for. Deeply knowledgeable, all the staff knew their stuff and were really accommodating. No hard sell, genuine interest in my son and what he would need to do. Yes I probably could have saved a bit of money if I had ordered online but their customer care outweighed all of that. The moral of the story is clear, great customer service will always secure you clients. Price will become secondary. So my son welcomes Boris (no idea why) into our home but we all left impressed by Southampton Reptile.

The staff at southampton reptiles are amazing. They have been happy to give us advice over the phone when we needed it and have been so helpful. One of my absolute favourite reptile stores. I've been using these guys since I was 16 years old (so a solid 9 years) and they've only improved with time. I really like the set ups in this shop and lots of the accessories are very nicely priced!! The staff were very friendly. I left with a cute lil pacman albino who has since doubled in size. They had a lot of rare animals which unfortunately meant that most the animals were very expensive.

Visited a few times last year and this year, and every time the shops ‘s been well staffed, well stocked, reasonably priced and the reptiles have been in fantastic condition. I travelled from Wiltshire because I knew this was a good place. Today I visited mostly for a browse and got to see the staff tending to the animals, bringing them all out of their enclosures, giving them personal attention, cleaning their enclosures / spraying down and feeding them all. The food offered in all cases looked great quality, all the animals were alert and interested in their food, clearly all used to the routine and their handling. Their snakes were in nice naturalistic enclosures, and those in faunariums had room to move and weren’t crampt up. The enclosures in all cases were clean, very well provisioned, all at the right temps and humidities, they were naturalistic in appearance which is always a preference of mine, although mine are bioactive, I can see it’s impractical in a shop with stock turn over. The staff were showing signs of actively looking to provide enrichment for the animals. I ended up buying some new Arcadia foods / supplements, and some clean up crew as theirs were in great condition. Staff were personable, polite and knowledgeable. I’ve visited 3 others today and none impressed me enough to write a review. Although I have other reptiles I’m uncomfortable with snakes, but almost had the courage to hold one today, since I could see the staff were very confident and the snakes were very relaxed. Next time maybe. I’ve come away impressed every time I’ve visited. When it’s time to buy a new animal, it’s likely to be from here.

Have bought a couple of reptiles from here and use them for general reptile supplies. The staff are excellent, they are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to give any advice or assistance. As for the reptiles they have a very wide selection which is ever changing, it's often a great to just look around and see all the wonderful creatures they have to offer. On the supplies side they keep pretty much everything you could ever need. I have purchased a full setup from them before, which is a great service, the viv had all light fittings and everything pre-fitted and ready for me when I arrived. If you're considering buying any reptiles, or simply curious about them, this is a fantastic place to visit.

This center is amazing. I have a very strong opinion that this place is very helpful and has blown my mind with their knowlage about all the reptiles including chameleons. I haven't had any problem finding accessories for my reptile. This shop has been the solution to all my problems. The knowlage I had before and after leaving the center shocked me alot. I have never gained so much information that I can now spend on my pet bearded dragon Larry. Finding the shop however, was a bit of a challenge. Maybe a little more signs of posters should do the job. Other than that I can't say anything else negative.
