Seemed like a good bunch of lads, helpful and engaging without any condasending attitudes. Plenty on show nicely presented but if you're thinking you're going to get loads of tackle for any less than the next big Angling retailer, think again, they may have a name that sounds like you could save a packet but their no more or less expensive than those in the next peg. Top marks though Angling Direct, I recommend a visit absolutely.

Customer service and stock levels need addressing, but then ive order 2 reels online to collect in store along with other bit and had no issue. Must say it has gone down a bit since thay did away with the points card and dont use them half as much since

Customer service goes a long way with myself and Tim could not do enough, there is no where in Staffordshire i will go to know after this kind of service. Great selection of fishing gear and baits. Even more stuff online too. Brought a preston 210 pole cracking pole and was able to get everything needed to string it 👍 Some staff are quite helpful others a little stand offish hence 4 star. Aside from that well worth a look

Bought my new bivvy here. Steve the manager could not do enough. Even set it up for me upstairs so I could actually see it out. Now that's what I call 1st class service. Very friendly staff too. Nothing to much trouble did not feel rushed like some shops.

Used the shop a few times now, it’s very well set out and very tidy. Very well stocked and the staff are very helpful and make you feel valued . This shop is what the area was crying out for. I drive past 2 tackle shops to get to Angling Direct, as it beats them both hands down.

Had a shimmano tx2 fishing rod break on the line clip on rod so tuck it into store Friday and have collected a brand new 1 today the occuring wednes day the manager Steve even went out of his way to collect the rod from another store on his own behalf witch he didn't have to I appreshiate the managers time and what a great store thanks angling direct stoke

Read a couple of negative reviews before posting really don't understand the negativity, all the staff are really helpful whenever I go in and if they aren't sure they ask the question. Loads of stock, very tidy and organised... Matt and the team are great!

AD get a lot of stick lately, mainly because of the struggle of independent and/or smaller tackle company's, whilst it is sad to see the decline of the smaller tackle shops, personally I think that's down to the rise of Internet shopping, but I can't fault Angling Direct, always great displays, everything in order and clean, maggots are always fresh, and always loads of stock.
