Reviews of Longton Library

I love this library. Staff go above and beyond. Always helpful. Lots going on for the children. So much more than just books.
We've really missed nipping in a couple of times a week due to Covid closures.
Click and collect is great though.

Nice old library with free parking at the back. Multiple businesses inside.

It's great, the Library is really big and filled with useful resources. And you have access to computers if you have a Library card and there are a tone of books. But real let down that there's no Toilets, so I can't come here much now. Because I go for a full days, so back to meir Library it is then. If you want to improve the Library and get more people coming, get toilets

This morning we attended the group for babies and toddlers, run by Lorraine and Sandra, today was pyjamarama day, the children all attended wearing their pyjamas, they had a couple of stories, sang songs, had a little drink and a biscuit, coloured and made a little card crown my grandson, (aged 2 1/2 has loved it). The ladies put in a lot of effort to make this enjoyable setting a bedtime scene telling the stories, thank you for a lovely morning

Great as always. Housed in an interesting and historic building. Surprised Stoke on Trent council have not knocked it down and put an unwanted hotel on the site. Oh forgot they cannot with the Sutherland Institute building covenant.

Love this gem of a place, only been in since we had our little boy and we love our trips. Excellent childrens' section with engaging displays and loads of interesting books. The staff are great too, very friendly and helpful, and they have great Saturday activities for children.

Our closest Library since The Evil Council closed Trentham Library some time ago. A bit of a walk, but hey ho, it's keeping us healthy.
As for Longton Library, staff are pleasant, choice is good, and the building is a stunning piece of local architecture.

It is with great pleasure to inform one and all that have always been immensly satisfied with the help, guidance and support by all staff members at Longton Library. Know what I like to read and on more than one occasion suggested an author similar to try. Always greeted with a smile and often leave with one. Most enjoyable experience, nothing is too much to ask. A thousand gold stars is just a small token of appreciation. Thank you all. Roy Domanski
