Excellent pet product store with a extensive range of supplies for most household pets. Products are of very good quality and many named brands are carried. Very helpful friendly staff are always willing to help you with your purchases. I have used this store for many years for our cats food, water, litter and treats and always been happy going there. 5 Stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Disabled parking right outside, staff happy to help you carry to your car. Access is flat and plenty of room in the aisle. Lots of brands available, small pets for sale (please think about adoption though as lots of loving, neutered, vaccinated and bonded bunnies are waiting for homes in our local rescue centres). Tag engraving and groom room available.

Fantastic service with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Visited regularly to buy puppy food, treats and new leads and harnesses as the dog grows bigger and bigger. Large car park usually with heaps of space, especially on weekdays. There are a few other shops and a McDonalds nearby so get the dog and yourself fed! 🐶😉

Excellent service and friendly staff. Their stuff is a wee bit more expensive than other pet shops. But by the time one has spent fares in going further afield it balances out to be roughly the same. They don't do a vast range in dry goods for fish though. So you would be better off going to a shop that specialises in aquarium dry goods. Dog friendly too and every dog I have ever had just loves coming here. 👍 They also have a vet service. And although I have never used it, other people have told me that it is good. Part of a vast pet accessory retail chain throughout the UK with over 450 stores under it's belt. Petsmart and vets4pets belong to the same empire. They also sell wee beasties ; fish, reptiles, rodents and crickets. This branch is one of the better ones in my experience. I have been to a few throughout the UK. However, do do your own research on your desired critter's needs rather than only relying on what the well meaning staff inform you of.

My visit today was to purchase some pet food. However when I arrived at the store it was closed. The listed online times were 10am to 1630 on Sunday. However when I pointed this out to a staff member who opened the door, I was advised that I was wrong and that they closed at 1600. The staff member was very rude and confrontational when I said that I would report the correct times online so that they were corrected. also the staff member demonstrated a serious lack of customer service by treating me with such disrespect. I regularly use this store and until today have always had positive visits, However I am now considering other alternative suppliers as I feel like I am not valued as a customer.

Massive credit to the store girls here. We had a complaint recently with online ordering and they were so understanding. The girls are always so helpful when in the store. What has affected my review here is staff member Peggy. What a sour faced, disrespectful woman. I have never been spoken to with such discontent by any shop worker. She needs to fix her face and treat customers with respect. Speak to them in the correct manner and generally get some customer service skills. Really let’s the store down!

The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly, I've not been to any pets at home where I haven't received good service, but there was one lady in particular here (I didn't get her name, strawberry blonde hair, about 5ft 6) but she made you feel very welcome and like nothing wasn't enough and that was 5 minutes before closing time, it's staff like that which is why I'm happy to continue to use pets at home, there was a new member of staff on the till who actually apologised for not being as quick as he should of been, we all start somewhere and if you read this, thank you and you don't need to apologise, you did a great job also, speed comes in time, doing it right, which you did, that's a good place to start 👍 see you all soon.

Definitely highly rate this particular pets at home. As the one in festival park sold me u healthy hamsters. Where this one did a full health check on the hamster before allowing me to take him home. They are more knowledgeable at the one. Would definitely prefer to go to this one from now now on.

The best place to get your pet feeds and needs health care and grooming in longton. With a great selection for the domestic or exotic pet raw or dry dog food live and frozen for your exotics. With small animals and fish for sale as well and the addition bonus of their pets at home vip bonus loyalty card scheme highly recommended.

Grumpy man on the till told me I would have to wait half an hour to buy a hamster and tried to talk me into leaving. I chose to wait and 10 minutes later I told another lady that I would like to buy a hamster and she was lovely - sold me my hamster and definitely went the extra mile to be friendly unlike the man on the till. He could do with a lesson in customer service!

I visit regularly for food, accessories and the rescue animals! Their cages for furries are kept clean, fish are well looked after and their Rams are some of the prettiest I've seen. Even the reptiles are happy. The staff are friendly and fairly knowledgeable, moreso than other PAH. They employ common sense as well, a rare quality! They make it their business to get to know their customers and always have a friendly smile- even when we run in 5 minutes before closing for a bale of straw and get sidetracked by buns and pigs! This isn't my nearest PAH but it's always my first choice 😄

well I don't go to pet shops but I can give a review of Steve Hackett Genesis revisited live at the Royal Albert hall dvd/CD pack. It's as close as you can get to The Gabriel era Genesis which is my favourite era and it's worth every penny. so 5 out of 5 for the Steve Hackett CD but I can't review the pet shop because I haven't been to it!!!
