H.Before this was a Library it was actually Stoke Market Before burning down the tower you can see was part of the market building it was that busy you could hardly walk through it at busy times there was also a fish market at the side of it it wasn't very often we went in it though because my Sister couldn't stand the smell but all that was at a time when Stoke was very busy because of the potbanks and the Michelin tyre works when they went it abated the decline of Stoke.

A. A.I have always found using the library a very positive experience, staff are helpful and the place is spacious and the car par behind it is very handy. On market day can also pop in and briwse round and buy groceries etc supporting the local community.

S. P.The Library has now moved to along side the indoor market on South Wolfe Street. It, along with the council offices, have combined to make a One Stop Shop for all of the local needs.
