Most know that these candles are pretty steep in price, but they usually have a sale section and in-store promotion.
I would mention that due to the nature of the products on sale, the store's scent (however lovely) can be overpowering, so if you struggle with sinus issues or migraines, I would suggest avoiding it.
Staff: Very friendly lady, knowledgeable of all I asked, and eager to help—5 stars for her customer's service.
Layout: Tiny shop but tidy with many products fit in, reasonably spacious to walk around
Cleanliness: spotless
Lighting: pleasant lighting
Busy or not: wasn't busy midday Monday
Anything worthy of note:
There is an adorable little train that travels across the top of the shelves.
Card & Cash: both accepted
Lavatory: there is a public one a short walk away
Parking: plenty of free parking

J. C.Yankee candle shop. These places are all very much the same set up. I think that as a product they are overpriced, but they do last a long time. Some of the scents are overpowering and confused, leaving you nose blind.
However, we did manage to buy one for ourselves and another as a gift for a reduced price so the missus was happy.

J. m.I’m a massive Yankee fan and have a pretty good knowledge of all the ranges , I shop in these stores fairly regularly and I’m happy with all of them except trentham, when you go in you are literally pounced in and not left alone , while I understand they have to sell their products I feel they push on you and watch you and it makes for a very uncomfortable shopping experience, I feel like I’m being watched in case I steal something rather than a friendly helpful sales advisor they are like security watching you. When you do engage with them they push you so hard to buy stuff it’s uncomfortable, I don’t feel this in any other store I go to , I can have a chat in the other stores ( especially the Newcastle-under-Lyme one where they are friendly and chatty as if they have something in common with you regarding wax melts etc not because they are trying the hard sell ) it’s a shame because trentham is my local one but guys please RELAX 🙄
