What a wonderful shop! A traditional model shop with all the bits and pieces you need to start a hobby or just top up spares. We bought an Airfix kit as a Christmas present and the gentleman who runs the shop was very knowledgeable and approachable and helped us choose the right skill level kit. Lots of model railway parts in here, particularly landscape and buildings. They've got paint, adhesives and all the items I would have expected when I used to go to model shops (back in the day!). 😉 Just one point to note: it is cash (or cheque) only but there is a cash machine a very short distance away so its not a real problem.

Lovely little shop and the owner was very helpful and kind, we managed to get everything we needed plus more my six year old son was in his element with all the trains and wagons. Will definitely be going back soon.

Went their today was greeted by a fantastic old gentleman who was so helpful it was un believable his knowledge knew no limit only went for paints he was so good WILL DEFINITELY go back again the shops a goldmine

Great store, they sell paints, kits and lots of train set bits n pieces. Best place for trains and accessories in the area. If you want detailed help and advice about anything to do with model railways these people are nice, friendly and knowledgeable and will help you. Some special things I think worth noting is that they sell Balsa wood in various sizes, ideal for projects and not so easy to locate around here that's a great thing. Also Milli-putt which is also harder to locate in shops but is basically two part Plasticine type product that can be molded into whatever you like and hardens like a rock, it is great stuff and another hard to find item but they sell it. They also sell Plasticard which is A4 plastic sheets ideal for drawing on and then cutting into designs to make your own models and creations. Overall its got a bit of all that interesting stuff you could want and I recommend it if you like model making. Oh and they do MAMOD steam engines and alike. TBH if you are reading this just go have a look its a good shop. If they aint got it, I bet they know where to get it.

Superb little Model Shop for railway enthusiasts. Gentleman very helpful and didnt try to sell me something I didn't need! Great range of locos, rolling stock and scenics. Will be gou g again very soon.

A veritable treasure trove of model railway engines, rolling stock, buildings and accessories for railway buffs of all ages. Barry is an absolute delight and a mine of information. If you're a fan of historic Burton brewery rolling stock - Bass, Worthingtons, Marstons, Ind Coope, etc - this store should be on you bucket list.
