Quite simply, a superb service. Cannot recommend highly enough. I had a Shimano baitrunner that the drag had stopped clicking on. I phoned to make sure this was repairable which was confirmed. I posted my reel off on Tuesday morning. Thursday afternoon I received confirmation the work had been carried out and an invoice, which I paid by bank transfer. The reel was received by Saturday, so a 4 day turnaround. A nice touch was the reel bag provided when my reel was returned. Superb service and very reasonably priced. If you need any work done on your reels this it the place to go!

I sent my Shimano Stradic 3000 in for repair and service (some idiot - probably me - had taken it apart and lost some small parts and the roller wouldn't turn). Anyway, Felindre returned it promptly in perfect working order and even enclosed the two old bearings they had to replace. The reel now runs as good as new. This firm is a pleasure to deal with. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Felindre really is the benchmark for fantastic service. A Vanford 4000 sent off with a dodgy bail arm. Two days later a quote received for repair. Paid it the same day and I got the reel back two days later. I really cannot fault them.

Parts are hard to come by now with Shimano Technium 10000XT reels and out of my own stupidity I'd broken mine due to user error. I needn't have worried. I've used this company a few times now, they are brilliant, My Shimano reels mean a lot to me, when I damaged the shifts by bending them in my rod bag, I was devastated. I sent them off to be repaired, they come back as good as new. I was well impressed. I think the whole repair process took about 3 days, that was including delivery. Super fast turnaround - just got my Shimano reel back, having only posted it to them on Monday (so they would have only received it on Tuesday and it's only Thursday today!) On top of that, they've done a sterling job - my reel feels good as new! I had considered buying a new reel as mine is circa 20 years old now but I'm so glad I didn't as it would have cost me circa 3 times the price of the repair and service, and even second hand ones like mine would have cost circa double on eBay. I thoroughly RECOMMEND this company - you won't be disappointed.

Good morning all. Just wanted to give you guys a big thumbs up and a note of appreciation. I sent in 3 Shimano Ultegra Ci4 14000XTA for servicing and an issue I had with the line guard on one reel (couldn't identify which one). I despatched the reels on Saturday and received them back today. I received a phone call to let me know the problem was due to an issue with an old style rotor on one reel. You have ordered a new rotor for me (with a 5 week lead time) to bring the reel up to date and hopefully stop the line guard popping out of the rotor. What a brilliant service. I’ve just had two reels back from these guys. Instructions carried out as requested with attention to some sticky bail arm springs which I requested. New drag washers were added with just enough, but not too much grease. Even cleaned them up for me and posted them back with an additional soft bag in the reel box. Turn around, considering it’s the close season was very swift too. Posted on Saturday, invoiced by Monday lunchtime and they arrived back on Wednesday lunchtime. They were only gone 96 hrs. Cant fault the experience really.

30 plus years old Shimano Aero 2500M. These folks have done a superb job servicing this reel, it has come back working like new. They were VERY FAST, did the modifications I asked for and the price was ridiculously reasonable. I bought a well known brand of reel to give this one a rest. It blew up in less than a season. Having searched for two Shimano 3500 for a while I was more than a bit disappointed in the mechanical condition when they arrived. It was not the first time I had used Felindre, so had no hesitation in sending the reels off. They were posted on a Friday and I must admit, I fully expected a call confirming a host of problems. However, by Wednesday the reels were back in what can only be described as fantastic condition, mechanically they feel as new. I would recommend Felindre unreservedly, they are not only brilliant at what they do, but so easy and a pleasure to deal with.

Well i sent two reels to Felindre one for a repair/service and another one for service after speaking to Paul, I sent them Thursday 29th October, they received Friday the 30th, received a phone call Saturday morning from Paul informing what work is required and they got delivered to me today the 4th of November as new !!
