Larger store than the one incirencester. Called in to grab crickets and frozen rats (as you do!) on the way home from trampolining. Staff very knowledgeable and parking fantastic. Dogs are welcome in store too. Vets and dog grooming on site. Shelves fully stocked and store was clean. Ordering online and collection in store or at pick up points is also available. Situated opposite a sainsburys and in a little shopping hub alongside a large hobbycraft, dunelm and "bargain buys".

it's a huge place that caters for ever pet you can imagine, they have an instore vets as well as a groom room, for your dog/ dogs to be pampered, we take our cat chai and our dog Buster there for their check ups and vaccination,s ,the staff are friendly and helpful.

There's always been a large pet store in this retail park. Loads of pet produce for all the common pets. • Dogs • Cats • Rabbits • Hamsters • Rats • Fish You can buy small pets here like Rabbits, Rats, Hamsters. Back when I was a kid I used to love coming here too see different pets & I'm not sure whether it's just rose tinted glasses but just hasn't seemed the same for many years. I know it's a different shop etc, but the rate time we go there we don't really event by anything.

It's fine and provides what I am looking for and I go at least once a month. The only thing that frustrates me is the reward card, on the one hand I like my spending generates donations to animal charities, on the other, none of the 'great deals' I get sent are any good for me and don't match in any way my spending habits. Would recommend the own brand wood pellet cat lit. I've converted friends to use this and it is good value in tbe 30kg bags. Friendly team which is something I always look for wherever I shop.

I like Pets at Home, partly because I can take the dog, but also because they have all I need for the dog and a vet onsite too. Staff are friendly, knowledgable, and love animals. There is a grooming service, but I don't need to use it as my dog is short haired. Access and parking are good now that the roadworks have reduced a bit, though it can still be busy at peak times at the Sainsburys roundabout.

Would have scored higher, except for the assistant manager being really rude. 3 year old slipped on water by the fish area, resulting in her screaming in pain. No apology and no wet floor signs were out. They are getting 3 stars solely for the other manager we spoke to and actually followed the correct process by completing an accident form and appeared genuinely concerned. Safe to say, no fish were purchased on the visit, which was our original reason for the visit.

Always happy to come here to buy for various pets. Employees are always very helpful, but can be chatty with each other while serving which isn’t ideal. Haven’t needed to use the Vet yet, but it’s good to know it’s there.

I regularly visit this Pets At Home store for my cats and dog. I have always found the staff to be very helpful, polite and pleasant to speak to. I usually find everything I'm looking for, but the staff at the tills will always ask if you have been successful in finding what you needed and very willing to help if you need it. I've also experienced their 'go the extra mile' ethos by being offered help to take heavy items to my car. If a particular item you want isn't in store, staff are always happy to order it in for you. You have the option of an email or text message to let you know when it's in and ready for you to collect. The store always appears clean and tidy, the shelves stocked and clearly sign posted. The various animals for sale or adoption are always in clean areas with suitable food, water, bedding and play items available, showing they are well looked after. If you take your dog into the store with you, whether that's to shop, visit the veterinarian clinic or grooming centre located within, expect the staff to want to give them a fuss and offer a treat! Both trolleys and baskets are available, and parking is easy due to a large car park with several disabled parking spaces.

Excellent service from one particular staff member who took the time to help calm my autistic daughter when we had been told they had stopped selling hamsters for the day. On the spectrum herself she went out of her way to help us and after I explained my daughter had been deciding which one to get she sorted it so we were able to buy him. This staff member was very knowledgeable, asking us cage sizes, previous experience with hamsters etc and showed extreme care when taking the hamster out. What could have been a really bad experience ended on a positive thanks to this staff member (just a shame I didn't get her name)

A great shop for all your pet needs. The food stock is incredibly varied. You should find everything you need. The only reason for four stars is due to the cages and pens were limited. I had to go to another store to find that. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Conveniently located just off the A419 this Pets at Home is a large store. There is free car parking available including disabled bays. They offer an extensive product range with standard corporate pricing. Dogs are welcome in store which is a bonus. Staff are professional and helpful. Well worth a visit to spoil your family pets.

Update or 2020: In all the time I've been using this store, I have never once had a bad thing to say bout the place or the staff. They literally treat you like their best friend whilst helping you. They have all the time in the world for you and always acknowledge you with a smile. A few weeks back, I went in to see about getting some fish. I called my daughter to see if she wanted some live food for her bearded dragon. This young lad Connor, was putting stock in the cabinet, so I asked him about the sizes as my daughter wasn't sure. He asked if I wanted to take a picture of them to send to her. So I did and she new immediately, which ones she wanted. That was above and beyond! But he boosted customer service ratings and made an extra sale. Staff in the shop and the vet section, are always friendly, polite, patient and helpful.

This branch was buzzing when we went in. It was really spacious. Staff helping people to choose their pets which all looked well looked after. We were just in to pick up some free treats for our dog... We had got a voucher sent in the post... Well worth getting the loyalty card. Pets at home is expensive but convenient.

Depending on what you want this isn't a bad place to get them however there are better pet supply shops that don't sell animals. Also please don't buy a rabbit hutch from here as they are way to small. Rabbits need as much space as a cat or dog, they live 8-12 years too and vet treatment isn't cheap. Please always have your rabbits spayed, neutered and vaccinated!. Pets aren't disposable and shops like this only add to the problem! 68,000 rabbits go through rescues in the UK every single year!. Adopt don't shop. Also the pets in their adopt section are often just the ones from the shop floor who aren't as cute or young anymore. I will only shop here as a last resort if I need something urgently. Lastly check over the hay if you buy it from pets@home as I've found bags of mouldy hay in shops before (I told the staff).

Not busy but traffic was extremely busy cars obstructing the roundabout for the A420 need to have traffic light control on the roundabout. Un beleivably the police headquarters are just past the roundabout on the A420 obviously no one on duty that day. Store was well organised which cannot be said about the traffic control on the A420.

Big tin shed of a pets supplies place. I know that doesn't sound exactly like a ringing endorsement, but.... It’s the staff that make or break these places, in this dump it’s 50 / 50 - the shop itself is rammed to the rafters with bloomin expensive tat’ - and there’s an air of superiority from the snotty staff when walking around. Not all mind, just the odd few that make the experience less than pleasant. You got a need for pet food; Tesco’s or Asda is much cheaper. You got a need for a dog lead or something exotic like a fish; then this place will do. (Barely!) Just don’t expect to be treated like a human here, cos you’ll be treated like a consumer instead.
