A great place for all things sugar! They have some great sweets and treats, with a number of things you just don't see commonly anymore. Checkout staff were friendly and polite. All around a great place to pick up some family eats. 1 star is knocked off due to staff smoking right by the front entrance which may be bothersome for those with medical sensitivities.

Huge shop, well stocked and presentable....but on line they advertise 'J Arthur Bowers multi purpose compost £7.49 for 100 ltrs'. However they don't stock it and according to the staff have not had it there for months. Therefore a waste of time travelling across Warrington to find that out...

Definitely seen prices rise as experienced in other retail shops however home bargains is slightly cheaper. Good selection of homeware, however more attention needed to ensure everything has a shelf edge label. Garden part is ok and some of the inside area taken over for Christmas. Very nice cashier served us today however who ever decided there was sufficient room between the end of the aisles and the checkouts has done a poor job considering the size of the store Been back to the store and they still have an unacceptable problem with items on display and no shelf label in place and its all over the store. The cashier on the checkout with the lottery terminal didnt know how to use it and people behind me in the queue were getting frustrated so i told her not to bother it was ok. Very pleasant cashier.

This is always my go to for a mooch around. The staff are so helpful and kind. I can't say I've ever been served by someone without a smile. It's just a very pleasant shop. The staff don't deserve some of the abuse they get from people in store. I think those people need to realise without these people we wouldn't have access to stores and shops during the pandemic. We should be grateful they're putting themselves at risk for us everyday.

It is what it is, not as cheap as it used to be. Quick service and friendly staff.

This is the first review since the store moved to Unit 1 on The Riverside Retail Park & allegedly became a Superstore...I visited the store today with my son & elderly mother with great expectations & to say I was extremely disappointed is a complete understatement...It should be renamed to B&M Garden Centre as neatly half of the inside of the store is dedicated to the garden section as well as the outside & they also have a good home section but considering the size of the store everything else seems to have been cut down in size in the food isles & toiletry isle etc...I was hoping that they had a freezer section seeing as the store is so vast like they do in the Widnes store but absolutely nothing & the cpl of fridges at the back of the store were very sparce with lots of spaces on the shelves where they had run out of items which mid afternoon is absolutely ridiculous...I have given it a rating of 3* only because they did have a very good selection in the alcohol isle which was an added bonus...I managed to find about half of my shopping list which I was not impressed with & now for the best bit...THE TILL AREA...I have never in my life seen anything so badly organised...there were about 6 tills with a very restricted queueing area which the only way to describe it is COMPLETE CHAOS...it wasn't even that busy & the till area was just bedlam...I certainly wouldn't like to be in there at Christmas time & apart from when I require anything for my garden or plants which they did have a very good selection I certainly won't be returning!!

It's a great shop for bargains on the pharmaceutical part as I've got a very bad cof/cold going on .. and 16 day and knight tablets are only a £1 and the same one with a brand name on the whereas £3.49 .. it's a note brainer. .
