We bought a bearded dragon here, and they were very helpful about all the requirements and setup we needed to do. Beth was really patient showing us all the bearded dragons in the shop and explaining to us about all the lighting, feeding, bathing and light requirements. Our beardie is very healthy and my son is very happy with his birthday present. Couldn't ask for more!

My husband brought home a pineapple green cheek conure (Percy) from Warrington Pets & Exotics. We received excellent guidance on her care from Chelsea, who remains interested in Percy's progress. A lovely family run business who really care for the animals. Percy is a real character who just wants to be with his humans!

Great shop, lots of of well kept reps, inverts, amphibians etc. We bought an adult female Salmon pink tarantula, Martin looked after us and answered any questions we had regarding our purchase. All the staff we met on the day went out of their way to assist in anything we asked regarding the vast amount of stock they had. Overall a very good experience and would definitely use again. Highly recommend.

I'd say it's one of the best reptile places around with a downstairs filled with all sorts of reptiles and upstairs the bala python along with birds and rabbits. Would recommend it

been here a few times now, its improved every time we go. great collection of reptiles (i rarely go upstairs to see the mammals) the staff are friendly and helpful. they always have lists on preloved so you know what they have in stock which is really helpful as i dont live local so easy to get too. small corridors around so when busy its hard to get around but other than that its a great little shop.

Just been to look at snakes, what a great place! All the animals looked very healthy and well cared for. Staff members were really helpful and knew their stuff; paticularly Chelsea who was really helpful with my families many questions. Will definatley go back and would recommend others do the same.

Fantastic staff and store. The staff are fantastic I got two tortoise and setup and they have gone through in great detail on how to setup and care for the animals, and are willing to to explain in great detail definitely as I'm a novice. They have been there when I've needed advice and always willing to help. As it's my first time with owning tortoise they have made the experience enjoyable and I'm definitely hooked and I will look at owning other exotics in the future. They definitely have me as a customer for life. Thanks again

Visited as my son was after a bearded dragon for his 17th birthday. Hands down one of the best pet shops i have ever been in. There was a good range of reptiles, tanks and everything you could need. Was served by a girl could Beth who was fantastic! She went through everything with us in great detail on how to setup the perfect enviroment with bulbs and uvb etc. All the beardies care from baths to feeding. Beardie was given a health check and we able to handle before taking home. Nothing was to much trouble for Beth. Very knowledgeable staff at this shop who take great pride and care in there animals, wouldn't go anywhere else now and highly recommend.

Very good service, helpful staff and a very pleasant atmosphere. They have a great range of feeders for my leopard gecko and treats for my dogs.If it wasn't for Beth I wouldn't have got the setup for the snake I want or be waiting for their new royals to be ready Thanks again to the staff for saving the snake from the dashboard of the car after she escaped the bag on the way to the shop on the day of a holiday don't know what I would have done if we hadn't got her out.

Really cool petshop had loads on offer despite the current climate. We searched everywhere in chester for a hamster and this was the closet place that had some in stock. Super helpful good prices gave us the info we needed. Will defo be coming back for a Newt asap

We first visited WPE in July to look for a snake as a surprise gift for me, from my fella. I wanted a corn snake and I asked Beth for help. Her exact words were, 'you don't want a corn snake; you want a Royal Python!' I was nervous - a python sounded scary! - but when Beth took me to see them, a little face peeked up, reached further out of her hide to get a proper look and stuck her tongue out at me - I felt an instant connection and squeeled, 'that one!' I genuinely didn't notice any of the other Royal Pythons; I don't care what anyone says, I had a bond with my girl from the moment we set eyes on each other, and I immediately named her Elphaba 💚🐍💚 As a first time snake owner, Beth advised me on everything I'd need to make sure Elphaba was healthy and happy at home, and we got the entire set up for a great price. Beth assured me that her and the WPE team were on hand if I had any questions or worries once Elphaba was home, and as I did have to take her up on her kind offer a couple of times, I know she continues to care about the animals she's looked after once they've got new homes. Elphaba is a dream - she's never missed a feed (even when she's in blue), she's got a fantastically chilled temperament, she loves to explore, she's happy and healthy, and she's completely bonded to me 🥰 We were so happy with the customer service we got that we went back 5 days later so my fella could get a python and complete set up of his own. A couple of weeks after that and we were back again to get another full set up for our 3rd python - yes, it's a seemingly addictive hobby! But we could be spending our money on worse things, right?! So here we are with 4 Royal Pythons now.....and with a 5th on his way in a couple of weeks! Beth, thank you for helping me discover my love for these beautiful creatures, for bringing me and my fella closer together because of them, and for persuading me to consider Royal Pythons in the first place - I've met my new Familiar and partner in magick, thanks to you 💚🐍💚 Wishing you nothing but love and light, Beth and the rest of the WPE team. Wonderful customer service! I went in for a bearded dragon as a surprise for my daughter 10th birthday. Beth, the sales assistant dealt with me from the first time I went in to coming home with the dragon yesterday! She was so kind, patient and well informed, she knew the answer to every question and made me feel very at ease! The range of stock and the knowledge from everyone in the shop was amazing! I have one very happy 10 year old! Thank you so much for making it such a pleasurable and stress free (ish) experience!!

Impressive exotic pet shop... They had a a really good mix of lizards snakes spiders and more. Went there to buy a pather cameleon. They would only sell it to us after seeing proof that our own enclosure was suitable for little dude. Beth was full of knowledge and helped us tweak our setup so it was just right. She talked through a health check and gave us a care sheet and guarantee too which is good. I would highly recommend going here. i would have given 10 stars if i could. Thanks again Beth 👍🏼

I used the boarding services whilst on holiday for our gecko and tortoise. I cannot recommend enough. On arrival to pick up my pets the girls spoke to me about my tortoises eyes…asking if I knew he had sticky eyes (I did). They had took it upon themselves to treat him and in fact I noticed an improvement straight away! They advised me on how to continue the treatment. Their knowledge on the animals is outstanding. I know for sure next time we go away the pets will be going there for their holidays! Thanks so much!

Wonderful shop with great staff, always very attentive helpful and knowledgeable. We have purchased a leopard gecko last year with a full setup and just recently purchased our first snake (a ball python). In both cases the staff are very vigilant in ensuring their animals are well cared for and have a suitable habitat, while also sharing knowledge with prospective owners on the correct care for their animals. Bought a black and white tegu from here today, the staff were super helpful throughout and even after the sale making sure the set up was perfect. Becca had great knowledge of the animal and made sure I had everything I needed. Also the price for the full set up was miles cheaper than anywhere else I’ve seen! Defo recommend!

Absolutely fantastic pet shop. I went in yesterday to buy a female cane toad. However it wasn't that easy. Which was a phenomenal surprise. A great surprise. You see the worker wanted to know how I was planning on keeping her. The enclosure, how I was planning on providing heat, her diet. What a breath of fresh air. A pet shop that sees their animals as living animals and not merely stock to be sold and replaced. Once I'd provided a picture of the enclosure I was going to be using and proving the beautiful cane toad would be looked after I was shown the toad was in great condition and health. Again a testament to the care and pride this pet shop and employees have for the animals they sell. Absolutely brilliant. 5 stars all day long.

We recently visited Warrington Pets & Exotics after expressing interest in a whites tree frog. I highly recommend this reptile/pet store their communication was excellent, and they had a huge variety of reptiles and everything and more needed for their care. Nothing was to much trouble, Hannah in particular went above and beyond and even checked in to see how our frog was settling in. You can tell they really care about the animals in their care! Excellent selection of birds, my son got 2 budgies, a cage, stand, food and toys for Christmas. The staff were friendly polite and very knowledgeable, would definitely recommend.
