We found a quiet corner with comfy chairs to try out some books chosen by our young granddaughters. They had been given a gift voucher for £15 each and the amount was burning a hole in their pockets. They chose wisely and have enjoyed reading their new books.

Staff rarely interact unless specifically approached. Compared to other branches I find this one disappointing however it's the only bookshop in the city other than WH Smith which I think is terrible for a university city. Thank heavens for the amazing library facilities we have.

One of the best book shops I've been to. Well laid out and not cluttered. Both floors have good visibility to get a 360 degree view of all categories and even when busy I think there would be sufficient space to move without bumping into anyone.

The book provision is very good but there are very few people working in the shop itself. A two storey building needs more than one person working on a cash desk. The level of customer service needs to be an important factor in a shop like Waterstones.

Large bookshop in Worcester city centre. Great staff and plenty here to amuse educate and delight the intellect and senses. Upstairs a calm haven from the hustle of shoppers outside. The ground floor is dedicated to children and young people. A bit tight on space and a busy atmosphere. There is a lift system, or stairs/ escalator if preferred.

Lovely shop; but the layout wasn't very helpful to what I was looking for and even though not the shops fault; other customers appeared to think a Waterstones is a library as they had chairs to sit down on and when we made a bit of noise by talking others weren't impressed. The staff were non-existent on the shop floor too. But other than that the shop was very clean and tidy.

Love coming to Waterstones! The staff are always extremely friendly and enthusiastic and often recommend brilliant reads based on a variety of tastes. There are a few comfy seats available to have a quick read.

The staff here are always very knowledgeable and helpful. The Worcester store does have a limited range in the refference sections and I think for the size of the store they could utilise the space much better to stock more selection. However you can order a book there if they haven't got it and you don't have to keep it if you decide it's not the book for you when it comes. Has a nice little seating area so you can browse a selection if your not sure which ones to choose and you can take your dog in which is a bonus.

A great shop with fantastic staff let down by a poor selection in some areas. Sadly lacking in graphic novels and photography books, but always able to order stuff in. The points cards and stamp cards are great as the reward to spend ratio is very high compared to places like Tesco or sainsburies. Have had some delivery issues in the past but they've always sorted it prompt and professionally.

I'm a bookworm which indicates that expectations of bookstores are going to be high standards, Waterstones hit all the bars for me. I have recently got the new Michelle Obama book and the audio book to enjoy during the Christmas holiday from Waterstones. The deal I got was amazing from Black Friday. I would rush right away to recommend one of my friends to go there and get hooked onto a book. Also, the quality of the books are outstanding. I would have loved if there was a Waterstones in Evesham near where I live in Cropthorne because it would be a smaller journey.

Very good bookshop with lots of books also for children. Various themes, and next to the books it also sells puzzles and arts and crafts stuff for children. I can recommend it, but be aware you will visit it over and over again then...

It was Friday afternoon and although there was a member of staff on the first floor at the tills there was a sign saying you have to pay downstairs. When I went downstairs there was no-one on thd till. There was a customer in fron of me and we waited agrs for someone to come and serve us despite ringing a bell. When the guy did come to serve us there was no apology for keeping us waiting....not surprising people buy books online or digitally. Come on Waterstones you can do better.
