Our dog is very nervous, and is very clingy to us. However whenever we drop him off here he has the best time. Once through the gates he makes a beeline for Helen, she is so lovely with him. When we go to collect him he just wants to stay and play! I wouldn't trust him to stay anywhere else, he is always safe and cared for there, I really recommend it.

Love this place, so does my dog! Helen really understands dogs and gives them a great time. Dog comes home tired but happy (unlike the stressed-out dog I have picked up from some other places that I won't name). I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I am very fussy about where I leave my dog. He is like my baby and he suffers with separation anxiety. When I drop him off he is always happy to see Helen tail wagging and he is happy to go with her, so I know he is well looked after. I would definitely recommend.

Have used HMC pet care for my dog Roxy several times. She first went when she was only 6 months old and loved it then and has ever since. She's a very active dog and can be a handful but they are great with her and she aways comes home happy ad better behaved too which is a bonus!

Our dog CJ is a bit quirky, I would never leave him with anyone other than Helen and her family . She looks after him just as he is at home. He loves to come and stay here, he cannot wait to get out of the car! I 100% recommend HMC Petcare ♥️

Having recently flown our cat back to UK from Saudi Arabia we needed a cattery and came upon here. Absolutely recommend here, the owners are brilliant and are genuinely caring about the pets in their care. Will use always. They also do dog grooming here, our dog, also recently back in UK, is very shy, but absolutely loves Georgia and can't wait to get out of the car. All in all, very happy customer

My dog Zoe Edwards went to Helen in 2018 and had the best little doggy holiday! Helen was absolutely amazing, and nelly and zoe are going back this April for another holiday. Can’t recommend enough. 11/10

I cannot recommend Helen and her family enough. My dog is nervous and epileptic but HMC look after him which such care and tailor it to his needs. There is now the bonus of Georgia now qualified to offer grooming. I’ve just picked up my very tired and well groomed dog from a few days at HMC and I think he is desperate to go back after all the fun he had.

Used here for the first time but I have to say on dropping my cat off and picking her up the cattery smelt 'very' strong of cat wee. Bit gutted there was no outdoor area for them to go into as well. Cat has lost weight but that could be due to being away from home too. The place was smelling in the morning as you apologised and stated you hadn't yet been around to sort the out which was fine and understandable. With regards to my husky a few years back you refused him purely because you had previously had a husky and he had bitten you and I was asking why you are judging all huskies from that one problem with a husky and that it was a bit unfair to judge all huskies the same. It was you that got nasty with me for questioning you about it. I had not even held that time again you in respect of still using you for our cat. I do reviews for places and as stated in beginning if you had of told me about the cats you have from rspca then that would of explained it. I wasn't being horrible about no outdoor area but when people read reviews these are sometimes what people like to know.

Fantastic home from home. My dog has the time of his life. He gets so excited when we pull up at the gates. He really is treated like one of the family!! My golden oldie Bengal cat fell in love with Helen and Georgia at first sight I think she could tell instantly the love she was about to get. She is always very well looked after and cared for. I honestly won’t use anyone else to look after my babies. And they also have a groomers which is fantastic!!! Georgia is so very talented and knowledgeable and gives great advice, my dog not only looks amazing but smells it too!!

We have used hmcpetcare for our dog archie since he was about 8 months old and he has gone to Helen ever since we know he is always looked after and loves being with the other dogs that stay there Archie is almost 10 now and will be going to stay again this year not once but twice . We've been using HMC Pet Care for 4 years now, our dog Baxter loves it there and he really does have a holiday while we're on holiday. He comes home absolutely shattered and happy it's so reassuring to know he's being well looked after, allowing us to enjoy our holidays. Helen is always contactable and replies promptly to us. We left our cat, Winter, here for 9 days whilst away. She’s an indoor cat, shy british short hair, not particularly friendly with strangers and not keen on new places. Helen and Co looked after her really well and even sent us a couple of updates whilst we were away to put us as ease as it was the first time Winter went into a cattery. There’s two separate areas for each cat, plenty of room to sleep and play, as well as shelves, scratching posts, toys, etc. Winter is allergic to certain foods so we provided our own wet food but she did eat the dry food they provided. Overall, it was a brilliant first experience and we’ll definitely use them again!

I can't thank you enough tucker has loved his stay. I have only left him once before he was kept in a kennal and only let out a few time he frets and was sick I phoned they said what food dose he have I was buying it of them was so worried about him couldn't wait to get him home He has come home today after being with Helen and the difference is unbelievable he's so happy very tired he has had a fantastic time looking forward to him going back and enjoying himself I can't thank you enough xx

If you truly love your pet, and are worried about leaving him or her, worry no more. Our 9 months old nervous chihuahua pup, Floki, had a ball whilst in the care of Helen and her family. I know this because of the pics and videos that were sent to us while we were away. He came back to us clean and well fed and was better socialised than when we left him and we are so happy that he was treated as one of their loving family while we were away. Juno had a 2 day almost one night, stay here, she was bit nervy at first but hadn't left us before and only 6 months old, but she settled and slept, and was fine when collected but please to see us, obviously, the home is beautiful, in the rural part of penycae, the family are lovely and welcoming, juno says thank you, and would love to return sometime in the future x
