Having arrived on Good Friday with no clue what colours I needed let alone what each paint did, Hannah was amazing. She was informative and very patient with me and the questions I had. Making the whole experience far easier than I had anticipated. I will definitely be back for any future decorating needs.

My husband and I called in to your store on James Street today 9/7/22 and from the moment we entered the store we was greated by a nice lady called Hannah. We had a voucher and Hannah explained exactly what we needed to do while she collected all the other products in the pack. Nothing was to much for her and she made us laugh with her funny quirky remarks. Just a lovely woman who made our day Thanks Hannah

I went into Crown in York & was served by Karen. Karen is the most helpful knowledgeable sales person I’ve been been served by in my 36 years of using Crown. Always cheerful & will do anything for you. She is absolutely brilliant

I was so confused and stressed when I arrived at Crown Decorating Centre in York but Hannah was so helpful and supportive that I soon felt much better. She encouraged me to take the samples and my tiles outside to see what they looked like in the daylight and stayed patient while I ummed and ahhed! I was able to make my decision without feeling rushed and I'm really happy with the paint I chose.

Went in yesterday with a vague idea of the colour I wanted, spent about half an hour with Helen, her Key to detail and eye for the right colour was amazing, she made the time to show me swatches, photos of her own decorating, and went through my photos and listened to what I wanted, whilst giving her insight. The 2 colours she recommended were absolutely spot on,now I just can't decide between the 2 :) I've told my family and friends about crown at James Street.

No need to go anywhere else but Crown at James St, York. Karen, Gaynor and the girls give a second to none professional customer service and always with a smile. I did try the other supplier around the corner and it was not a good experience being served by grumpy men with no manners. As a pro decorator for many years I will stick with Crown always. Just recently went into Crown off Hull Road. Two very helpful ladies sorted me out to paint my lounge. I used clean extreme matt which i must say is lovely to put on and looks great. I also use waterbased satin for my woodwork. Would highly recommend the scubbable matt if you have kids and grand kids. Will be back to do kitchen in the near future.
