I bought a new fish tank & some fish. Really friendly staff with helpful advice on how to look after them. Really like the fish points system as it helps work out how many fish you can have in your tank. Great selection of plants (live or fake) & decorations

This store is great. It’s right in the centre of the Clifton Moor shopping centre so it’s not hard to find. They sell a wide range of live animals including, hamsters, gerbils, Guinea pigs and rats. The staff are very helpful with helping you find things or answering any questions you may have. I’ve purchased many fish from here who have lived a long and happy life. They sell many fish in their aquatic centre including goldfish, guppies and molly’s - so lots to choose from. They offer a click and collect service so you can order in advance and go pick it up within an hour which is really good for those with not much time on their hands.

Had to write a review for Gemma. Twice now we have been in and had problems finding what we were looking for. Hedgehog biscuits and fish food. Gemma was on hand both times to help us out. For the hedgehog biscuits they didn’t have any in stock but Gemma said we could order some in. They arrived within 48 hours. Took 5 minutes to do. For fish food , they didn’t have any on shelf so we found Gemma and she remembered that they had just come in in that days order so problem solved again. Many thanks Gemma keep up the good work.

Really friendly staff that was able to help with fish tank and setup queries. Stock was slightly limited for cat food but the normal items I purchase were available. Staff on the till (trainee sorry I can't remember your name) was really friendly and helpful.

Clean and tidy store. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good range but low or no stock of some items such as hay and small animal treats when I visited. Deliveries were expected.

This "go to store" for all things pet stocks everything for dog cat fish and birds. The staff are very helpful BUT for its location, ie in a major out of town shopping complex a few doors away from a super size supermarket, it is very small in size particularly given the very large amount of stock on shelves. Customers end up queuing to go down aisles or pushing past each other because it is always very busy. This makes things for more vulnerable and cautious customers worrying about Coronavirus stressed. The heavy amount of footfall alongside the amount of stock requires a much bigger store!

Stock was pretty low in some areas. We called in when passing, but couldn’t find what we needed on this occasion. Store was clean enough and staff were helpful though.

Good selection of products. A tad expensive, but fine for big/heavy items and useful to have just down the road, if we ever need something in a rush and can't wait for delivery.

The staff were really nice. I went in to get two items a pill popper and a recovery coat for my cat, they don't stock either item. That's why I decided to only give them 3 stars. I should add that I got both items for a local independent pet shop.

Absolutely fantastic pet store, lovely staff and great selection. We keep reptiles and amphibians, and they're welcome in store just as much as dogs and cats, plus the staff know about them too. Good vouchers too from the loyalty scheme, and good discounts on buying multiple boxes of live food or bags of frozen.

Staff are knowledgeable and seem to know the pets they are selling pretty well. The range they stock is also pretty wide and I have never had problems getting food or pet supplies for any of my pets, even my reptiles and amphibians.

The girls were excellent with my 7 month old chihuahua. Took her for her 3 month worker and as one of the girls was trying to give my pup the tablet my pup got rather snappy. We managed to give her it by hiding it in one of her dog treats. Thanks for your patience

Everything you need . Reasonably priced, decent quality. Clean and well spaced out . We have bought pets from here, and lots of food and equipment over the years. Never had a problem.

The shop is fine. Has a good selection of bit and Bob's. But I would never recommend buying a Guinea pig from there or the vets. We had 3 Guinea pigs that had strokes from there. When we took them to the vets upstairs the vet blamed the way we looked after them. My mrs was disgusted at his attitude as she teaches animal welfare and husbandry, and they were certainly not mistreated in anyway. When questioned about his opinion he could give no example of what we could be doing to make 3 Guinea pigs have strokes, as its obvious its more likely something to do with their breeding.

Only went in to get some stuff for the fish tank and walked out with 2 hamsters! Sam was so helpful and answered every question we could think of. He also gave us a lot of advice on how to take care the hamsters and what to look out for.

An alright place. Staff are hit and miss, you either get someone who can't do more for you or you get someone who is a bit too judgemental in my opinion. We regularly shop here for cat, dog and hen supplies and get the occasional tropical fish. The last time I was in I ws looking for kitten flea treatments as we'd taken on a 4 week old kitten. A lot of treatments are for 8 week and over but one or 2 are for 4 week and over. As I browsing I had an employee come up behind me and say, quite loudly "Do you have a flea problem in your house?". Now I quote happily countered her with the truth and explained we'd rescued this abandoned kitten and was told "oh you'll need to go to the vets as none of these will treat a kitten thag young". Which showed her knowledge of the products as I knew 2 they had in said on their packaging save for 4 weeks and up. I got really irritated with her as she kept interrupting when I was talking and if I'd asked for the help then fine, I wouldn't mind, but I didn't. But then at the till I got a lady who was just wonderful. Really friendly and helpful and dug out a kitten booklet for me which had some food saving vouchers for Royal Canin. She was just sterling. It's hit and miss with employees but with stock it is pretty excellent.

Friendly staff with a great inventory of animals and specialist pet care products (I would recommend checking both Wilkinson and Tesco which are both next door for better prices). One of the benefits is that you can bring your pet with you which makes it easy to choose the correct accessories. And you can also let your dog choose its own toy! There are also treats at the till for well behaved dogs/cats.

Massive Pets store and Vets.. A store that's got everything for your Pet. And a Vet's for your pet. I use the Vets and store for both of my dog's. A very friendly place, with good prices. Free parking and disabled parking. Totally recommended 🅿️♿🐕❤️

Hoppers for Bearded Dragons is not really a string suit for Pets at Home. For all other animal needs however, they have a wide range of products that vary in price, from low to high. A good place to go if your looking for Dog Food or Cat Food. Bulk buys save you loads.
