S. S.Lovely shop! Most of the items are expensive as they are handcrafted, eco-friendly and unique. Very colourful and lot of variety to choose from. It's situated near York Minster. A must visit if you're interesting in interior decorations and love having cute and interesting collectibles.

You can spend as much or as little as you want and know that those who need it the most are benefiting unlike other retail where you are lining the owners pockets. The staff are lovely and helpful. I realised way too late that I’d made a mistake with the delivery address, and Shared Earth went above and beyond to help sort out the mistake, and get the gift there asap, including sending out a second order before they’d received the first back. Communication was fantastic.
The candle was gorgeous and smelled amazing and the pizza cutter in a bike shape was cool and well made. I’m very happy to support an ethical company liked Shared Earth.

A. R.Just wonderful!! It's not just gifts and jewellery - it's everything you could want for starting to live an eco-friendly, plastic-free, fairtrade lifestyle. Incredibly helpful and passionate staff, I only bought two pairs of earrings but there were so many colourful and beautiful things, from clothes to furniture, we went back three times! Also has a refill station for household products like washing up liquid etc. What all stores should be.

The goods are largely made by skilled artisans all over the world, with the shop having a strong ethical leaning. It's not a chain store, it's not economy, but it is beautiful and fun. I'd recommend anyone has a look round.

E.Though not visited in person, I have had pleasant experience with an online order from Shared Earth. I ordered a competitively priced bath soap, a favourite, which was quickly delivered. The fact the package was wrapped with recycled material was a bonus. Many thanks to Kieran, a staff member, for the 'meticulous' manner in which he packed the parcel.
