Your destination for buying soaps, lotions, shower gels, and more. I really liked the variety of smells that they have (e.g. rose, lemon, sea, etc.). They also provide gift options if you want to buy gifts for your family. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Price wise, I think that price tags are well priced.

This shop is a dream! The inside is absolutely beautiful and magical. They have so many cute products for a very reasonable price. Also they are cruelty free which is amazing! I bought few soap and bath products but I would have love to buy everything. I will definitely come back the next time I visit the area. So sad that they have no shop in the South.

I first discovered The Yorkshire Soap Company after smelling “Night night seeetheart” on a friend. I purchased a bottle online for myself immediately. During a visit to York I made a beeline for the store and was not disappointed. The aesthetic of the shop is beautiful. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The range of products is amazing. Unfortunately we live too far away to visit regularly, however I will be a return online customer. Thank you

What an amazing place! The staff here are super friendly and helpful without being over the top. The products are amazing but the staff make this place. What an absolute pleasure to visit somewhere where the staff seem to genuinely be interested and care about how they can help! Their products are also out of this world amazing! It's a pretty looking store that was still nicely decorated for Christmas. Great choice of various bath bombs, etc. All reasonably priced perfect for treats for yourself or gifts. My little girl wanted everything! We bought a range of soaps and bath bombs. We haven't used them all yet, but those we have used were very nice.

Friendly, helpful staff, nice music playing and laid out beautifully. And of course smells lovely. The products are all clearly labelled, and lots of sample smells to help you tell what you like. Plus spoilt for choice with soap and bath salts and all sorts of similar scented products.

My absolute favourite shop in York! Saw lots of people carrying their shopping bags and wondered what the deal was… Then I went in and instantly understood! The decor of the shop is so cute and inviting. There are lots of products on offer; soaps, bath bombs, candles, body lotions, toothpaste, to name a few. I ended up buying a candle and soap and the prices are very fair and reasonable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming too. I was asked if I needed help a couple of times. If you ever visit York, be sure to stop by here!

Beautiful shop in York and smells delicious. I bought some of the new sugar scrub whip in melon and it's so lovely, smells wonderful and feels luxurious. My daughter bought some soaps and both were beautifully gift packaged. I wish I remembered the name of the woman who served us, she was very friendly and helped us choose. All reasonably priced and would make special Christmas gifts. We came upon the shop late in our trip to York but I was very pleased to see that they have an online store also.

Beautifully laid out shop with stunning gift ideas . The quality and attention to detail on some of the products is incredible . We have some candles at home from here over a year old that still give off the aroma like when they were first bought . Also the staff are so knowledgeable and polite, so it's a shop well worth seeking out .

I really loved this place. I never thought I’d get so excited over soap! It’s such a cute little shop and the soaps are lovely. They’ve got all these different soaps that look like cakes, chocolates and animals. There’s also things like bath bombs and such, but the soaps were definitely the highlight. Its actually Christine McMaster writing this review - have only recently come across this wonderful shop in York. The gentleman who served me was so charming and extremely knowledgeable about the products. He helped choose one that suits my skin - I ALWAYS wash my face with soap and water - I was not disappointed as the one he recommended is excellent, he also told me of the new shop that had just opened in Beverley and I was so pleased as I am only 8 miles from Beverley as opposed to 60 from York. Your products are an absolute joy to look at and use. So pleased I found you and that you decided to open in Beverley. Looking forward to your Christmas range.
