Reviews of Bon Accord Aberdeen
B. K.
A great bookshop is hiding inside, with lots of books to peruse! I suggest visiting, but don't expect any discount even if you buy 10 books in one piece (that's why I'm giving them a 3* review).
G. M.
Loved the way this centre spread across a couple of streets onto the main Union Street. Not quite as much as I thought would be there. However, it was all set up for the children being off school, sand pits and many other things throughout the centre. Fabulous. Would visit again
R. R.
Lovely shopping mall to visit and go for lunch, coffee or shopping around. Plenty restaurants and shops and nice decoration on Christmas.
O. O.
Great mall. Shops are located inside and sit out areas exist.Serene and neat environment
E. M.
Has great shops and restaurante too! Great for the children has they have a variety of things dor them to do.
C. C.
So many stores and its clean and spacious with a cute little store/exhibit of 6 or 7 science themed things that's free to explore. My son loved it. It was a nice break from shopping. With three fun house mirrors, an illusion mirror and others. Only one didn't seem work, a memory button test, but that's okay. It was way better than the little rocking cars you put money in for 1 minute of children entertainment.
Other than that, there's a subway in the food court, plenty of shops with a wonderful variety, I love the garden shop.
Definitely recommend especially to get out of the sun but still shop.
B. F.
M&S, what can you say my breakfast was delicious 😋.
I was there the day before, had scrambled eggs with bacon, just devine. Hence my return, as a former chef, it was nearly as good as mine.
All freshly cooked and quality ingredients, and lovely staff serving, it up.
I know where I will be going next visit and you should too
It's value for money, and the restaurant is clean and spacious, with toilets nearby.
N. S.
Nice shopping centre but it is in two half's! Good selection of shops and it was clean.
B. (.
A ghost town compared to what it used to be in 2019. Half the units sit empty unfortunately.
The centre staff are helpful however, and the centre always appears clean and they still try to run different seasonal events and fun things to do.
Only really worth visiting if you have a need to visit a mobile network, fancy a coffee or boots.
P. D.
Like the mini golf chess set and other stuff you got in.... really impressed with the thinking how about some of them old school climbimg frames and a ball pit etc in one of the closed shops.... if i had cash id do it myself.... well done
H. L.
It is a really good shopping centre with an attached car park which makes access easy.
Z. I.
I really liked shopping here. Just the right amount of bustle and choice.
m.
Overtime the Bon Accord Centre, in Aberdeen, has gone downhill. There are several shops to visit and plenty of places to eat but on the whole most people will shop at Union Square and as a result the Bon Accord Centre has a shabby and almost forgotten-about quality to it. Most of the big shops that people would visit for are long gone (Woolworths anyone?) but if you are tired from shopping at Union Square you could do a lot worse that grabbing a bite to eat here; equally, you could do a lot better also. Middlin.
A. W.
An interesting mall in Aberdeen City centre with all the mall type shops and a very good eating area with all the usual amenities located on the upper level. Winters in Aberdeen can be a little chilly so mall shopping can be ideal for those of us who are not so hardly. The downside? The lack of variety and therefore choice between all malls throughout the UK.
L. T.
Interesting mall. A road cuts the mall into two sections. One main section with Waterstones book shop, Boots pharmacy, and Vodafone, EE. And some jewellery stores. Food places and toilets on the second floor. The other section across the road has a large Marks and Spencer, three, some pharmacy, WH Smith, a large shoe shop etc.
R. M.
The staff at vision express were so helpfull, as I was getting off the train a person suddenly stepped backwards and bashed into me and the lens in my glasses popped out, they sorted it and cleaned them, such helpfull people.
M. M. S.
Great place with different stalls to shop from. Got a little something for children to while away time.
G. F.
Charlie's house cafe is lovely with great staff plus it's for a great local cause rather than a multi national tax dodging coffee company
R. A.
An amazing place to relax, hangout and buy all you want
G. D.
Visited Next. There were 4 ex display dining chairs, the ones we were there to order, at the door. £200 saving boost. Ordered another 2 from the store. The staff were very helpful as always.
Can't beat shopping in store!
m. s.
Just love Bon Accord, it is clean, variety of shops and good cafes for unwinding...
J. O.
A lovely place to shop and it's beginning to feel like Christmas as it is close to the 2022 Aberdeen Christmas village
D. S.
My lovely Aberdeen anything you need u can find there granite city love it Scotland 🏴
M. S.
Popular place with an open area and has so many stores to buy different stuffs ranges from clothings to mobile phones to phone networks to shoes, etc
N. M.
Great shopping centre, not hot and stuffy like some shopping centres can be,for example, the Eastgate in Inverness is always stuffy.
i. c.
Very big
B. S.
Nice place for families
Less choice for shopping
Good choice for eating
Straight walk from here you reach Union square
Parking in Bon Accord is cheap when compared to Union square parking
Watch for parking signs in a very small alley way.
E. T.
Shops are a hit or miss but there are some good designer shops if you like your clothes 😁
A. D.
Good, clean mall. Free play areas for kids and a museum pop up, which is a great idea to utilise otherwise empty space. Toilets were readily accessible and clean.
H. R.
Sad to see some of the old staples gone, but loving the new ones 😍
B. “. H. I. C. H. I. O.
Loved it, this place suits both adult and children and in the heart of Aberdeen. It also connects to other fun places within the city center
k. d.
Good clean centre sadly missing John Lewis and other shops that have closed. Expensive parking which dosent encourage you to visit
C. M.
Warm and easy to find shops I needed
M. S.
I like this place but is a bit dead after Covid. Quite few shops is empty, where used to be clothing shops.
M. &. j. s.
Come along tomorrow @curated Aberdeen and say hi to @1323jewellery Sunday 6th June 11am-4pm
I. W.
Nice centre and quiet a lot of stuff for kids to do.
A. J.
So so many options for the Ice creams! I like how they name them. My favorite was fruits of the forest
p. l. p.
large center with many shops, nice place to shop
Very clean
Y. A.
Good shopping mall and got an interesting collection of shops: from perfume to shoes.
S. D.
Bon Accord is a friendly and lovely place. A typical UK mall. Great spaces. I had the opportunity to visit the Waterstones bookshop and bought some books.
S. -. N. A.
Everything in one place....high end tok but lots of sales in some shops
C. P.
All daily necessities and other service available post office is inside this building also an M&S
A. D.
Lovely helpful staff and great coffee and cakes at a good price
H. D.
Just love it. Lots of different shops and coffee restaurants❤️
M. Q.
Bon Accord is for some reason now an entry point to George Street. It's perhaps a mall, I don't know what it is. It's harbouring shops that should be on Union Street. Yet here they are in the back of beyond. Someone has summer explaining to do. Union Street has an abundance of lower class shops, which are not tourists attractions, an explanation is necessary. Then why has Union Street gardens been massacared in this way. Why is Union Street a disgrace to Aberdeen, once lined with the House of Fraser, Esselte and Macintosh, C&A and many others replaced by telephone shops and fast food places?
D. D.
I can remember when here opened! I miss the old food court there used to be . Shame to see Thorntons close
M. A. R.
Small shopping mall, has few good shops and some coffee shops. In the middle of city centre.
A. A.
Excellent as before 👌
Although always scope for improvement especially when it comes to the parking 🅿️ payment system 😎
Thanks again,
Atli Árnason 😉
N.
Good food outlets and toilets upstairs.
w. g. b.
Quite sad to see this once vibrant centre look jaded and quiet with a number of shops closed
S. S.
Need to open more shops, looks a bit down since after the pandemic.
S. C.
Good shopping centre with a busy feel. Has most of the shops and beauty bars that I would usually visit.
L. L.
I like Bon Accord centre and I go there often. The range of shops and restaurants available and it's location is just right. It is quite convenient as you can get your special items in the wide range of stores available, but you can also get your weekly shop done as well.
S. L. S.
One the nice place to hang out in Aberdeen for shopping.
L. R.
Big boring city has big boring shopping mall - and it's not getting better. We need small boutique shops, art shops, more good quality content in here, not just another Next, another Top Shop or another Costa in the town. This is the very heart of the town. Aberdeen can do better than this
W. P.
Deichmann shoe shop got a good selection of shoes
P. P.
Disappointed that the place has gone so downhill. Empty shops aplenty.
E. W.
Unsure how exactly to rate this shopping centre - it's certainly better than the rundown Trinity Centre, but it's not as good as the modern Union Square Shopping Centre. Bon Accord is a little outdated, especially outside of the southern half of the centre I feel, however it does have a fairly good array of shops and cafes etc. to browse. Inside is fairly clean and modern however. Hence why it sits in the middle of the two in terms of ratings. There's a nice garden area on the roof on the southern half, as well as an exciting market - Curated Aberdeen - located inside the northern half. Overall, it's probably worth a walk through just to see if there's someplace that grabs your attention inside.
i. b.
Aging shopping centre based around it's connecting to Marks and Spencers..
S. O.
Good place you can get all forms of services
R. R.
Plenty of shopping options here. Very handy Costa in the central atrium to stop and refuel.
Best of all, it currently has free EV charging in the Loch Street carpark.
U. J.
In the bon accord centre you find good shops and offers and boots is great and I always get good advice from the staff there ☺️
M. W.
Split into two buildings which had a busy road in the middle. Upstairs isn't finished yet. Nice bathrooms. Well kept. Very well equipped for kids. I like it but food in general is a bit expensive
P. P.
Not very busy but Deichmann shoe shop really busy not a lot of people wearing face masks 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
A. W.
The Pandemic sadly hit this place. It has a number of your usual chain stores. Unfortunately it's not a popular as the Union Square mall with the younger crowd. However, its a good place to shop.
C. S.
It's ok 👍 but just like most of the UK it needs a kick up the bum , a clean and businesses people want to visit 🥺
K. W.
It seems that there are 2 separate Bon Accord shopping centres. Everything you need is available.
T. M.
Very good selection of shops.Nice atmosphere.
L. P.
Not quite the shopping centre it used to be. Quite a lot of stores have closed down now. It appears to be mostly used now as a way to get from George Street to Union Street
The rooftop garden is lovely though and a great place to chill when the sun is out
Just watch out for the seagulls if you have food with you lol they love to share your food 😆 🤣
D. H.
Good standard if unspectacular shopping centre in the heart of Aberdeen. The rainbow stairs leading to the mall were the most eye-catching.
O. A.
Christmas is strong in the air
C.
A lot to do here, with a variety of shops, you'll most likely find something of interest here!
J. D.
I was surprised by how many companies have left the centre. I presume it's due to covid. Masks were being worn by the majority of shoppers. Restaurants were almost empty so I imagine they are struggling. Aberdeen in general seems to have lost many businesses. What a pity, as I always enjoyed shopping in the city
K.
Went to 02 mobile phone store, assistant answered my query, was able to manage what's on phone after talking. Use phone most days needed to keep up to date.
a. l.
I just walked threw. WHSmith, i was around £23 for a usually at another store tobacco at £18 including a lighter.
I find either a bargain in a small shop but i avoid the two big stores. Far too expensive for me.
Just walk threw, never look to be honest
C. T.
Friendly n clean. Very helpful wen I had an accident, a fall with my rollator they wer there so quick to help me even staff from the opticians came to help. Only thing that bugs me is every time I use the lift I get electric shock other than that I have no complaints wat so ever
D. B.
Was very good lot of people going about
R. H.
Clean and easy to find what's required
E. S.
Very warm inside as air condition not working.
M. C.
A lot less shops in here nowadays, but that’s a sign of the times we live in. Still a good place to grab a coffee & cake though.
A. W.
Decent Outlet's. Dinning ok .
H. H.
The shopping centre is great. The new Covid-19 vaccine centre is adjacent. The reason for our visit. When we arrived the queue started in the building when we left 45 minutes later queue was out the door down the block and round the corner.
We have a wheelchair accessible vehicle so height limit in the parking structures exclude us. To try and find a parking over 30 minutes driving around. Forced to use a loading area instead of blocking the road. A real problem for us who use motability aids.
F. S.
Lovely part of Aberdeen offering lots of different amenities
C. M.
Not really as good as the larger Union Square that has more to offer. Some decent shops however and makes for a dryer shortcut when heading into/out of the centre of the city...if that's the route your taking that is.
J. C.
Great selection of shops, toilet facilities are well maintained. The reason I have given it a 4 star rating and not a perfect 5 is because I prefer shopping in Union Square. The two shopping centres are not on the same level in terms of shopping options and access to public transport. Highly recommend to anyone visiting, but Union Square is the better option for tourists especially.
B. A.
Can't find anything to say about this place
It's very dull and boring 😴
A.
I know it's no longer the newest shopping centre BUT I still prefer Bon Accord to others.
It just has a better atmosphere, less people.
Loads of great shops, seating, big help desk, restaurants.
I love the layout, the open and bright design with window roof.
There are lifts (upper and lower mall) and very spacious, modern toilets on both levels and both accessible as is the whole mall.
It's always clean and tidy.
Shopping feels relaxed here and just overall a more enjoyable experience.
M. M.
First time visit since Covid restrictions last March. One way system in operation, face masks and hand cleaning stations available. Shops open, John Lewis is closed. Centre not too busy. I enjoyed that.
p. p.
Still has its own atmosphere.
J. A.
Beginning to pick up after all the shops closing. More people around now.
M. S.
Love that place very clean and good shop
C. D.
There are hardly any shops here!
m. m.
We Visited Boots for our pre flight covid test, the lassie was extremely reassuring and helpful.
K. M.
As like everywhere else there are many shops closed, especially Wallis that I liked very much. The remaining units are alright including Boots but you may not get what you are looking for in the area.
K. F.
Popped in a few weeks ago for the 1st time in 18 months. Wow! What has happened? This used to be a great centre to shop in. Now, everything is closed. With the exception of Hobbs (thank goodness) there is not really anything worth going for. Maybe Boots & possibly the food court (I haven't eaten in it for years) but everything else was awful. The truth is that the city is full of throw away fashion shops. Hardly anything of any quality any more. It's very sad.
N. B.
Love this centre lots of shops and clean easily accessible and got a bit of everything
r. s.
I have just spent one hour but i really enjoyed and i will revisit, full of clothing shops, boots, restaurants
L. M.
Clean shopping centre. Split in two parts. Most units closed down in second part.
J. L.
Central with carpark and great valeting! Shops and cafes with books.. Waterstones 🤫☕🍰reading and tea 🍵 at same time...extra special aromas when unwinding after shopping 😉
D.
This shopping centre is over 2 floors and 2 different halls split in half because of a road. There are number of places to eat in or takeaway there not enough shops in the centre alone to spent all day. They also have a car park. The staff who I came in contact with are friendly enough. It ok if you want a days shopping....
A. D.
Clean, welcoming and quite busy!
D. M.
Nice shopping centre, with different name since last time i visited. good choice of shops,if you walk through and cross the road there is another part of the centre, with eating places and more shops, the staff in the shops i visited were lovely, its definitely worth a visit .
E. P.
We like this shopping centre as it has John Lewis, M&S, Waterstones, Holland and Barrett and lots more. Clean and bright. We enjoy having lunch or coffee in Pret a Manger. Good carpark with car valeting service on floors 2 and 3.
M. M.
Boots, Waterstone's, Next, New Look, several jewellery shops and a couple of expensive clothes shops have survived...
I wanted a ring from Swarovski but they only had a limited number of the style I wanted, and in small ring sizes!
The staff wanted them for themselves, but they were not allowed to keep them by. Customers first? I asked to order one in my size but it was not possible.. I gave up. I saw something else in Finnies.
Also a couple of phone shops. Apart from that the place has a lot of empty units.
And can't walk through the place without being asked about Sky, do I want Sky? How's your Sky???
J. T.
Always nice and clean. Was marked up with arrows and dividing lines for covid. Not that the public know what an arrow or 2m is about.
Plenty of shops opening back up. Could do with a covering between the main section and the bit formerly known as the St Nicholas Centre for those rainy days. Though that road is closed to traffic for social distancing.
k. s.
Good shopping centr
k. n.
Shops all OK car park could do with better indoor signage
C. L. T.
Rather small place to shop around here, there is money changer there, which is hard to find at Union street. Depend on the time of visit, there could be crowded with college students, but not an issue.
A. A.
There are a lot of shops here. The network service providers in Aberdeen have their offices there too.
T. J.
Nice shopping destination and fun area for kids during Xmas season
P. G.
Shops restaurants , plenty to see
m. h.
Good variety of shops but parking is is quiet expensive for the time spent. Spent 30 minutes and parking cost me £3.50 😂😤🤦♀️
P. J. (.
Really good range of shops, great to find gifts, you will find everything you need
M. A.
Shopping for mobile phone for my daughter at Warehouse. Good selection. Also service desk if you have taken out policy. Good for face to face if you prefer than phoning for help. Plenty other shops in shopping centre. Just across from Nicholson Shopping centre. Worth s look.
t. d.
Amazing shop and what a display
J. W.
Well maintained shopping centre providing access to M&S and multiple outlets.
O. G.
Good spot for relaxing after a long walk 😁 with free wifi to get in touch with friends and family.
D. L.
Numerous big name shops
S. T.
Now I love this centre, less pretentious than Union Square, but sad to see some spaces vacant. I hope someone in authority sorts it out. Saying that an absolutely fantastic full Scottish breakfast at Di Maggio's. Deffo a one to go back again for. The wee one loved the pancakes and bacon.
O. I.
A decent mall for personal and family shopping. There are many good toy shops for kids in this facility. Nice restaurants and clothing shops too. Car parks are also easily accessible via the lifts and stairs.
N. D.
Good shopping centre very clean and a good mix of high street shops and shop restaurants and coffee shops upstairs. Kids soft play area upstairs and over the summer there is a big slide of little kids and big kids alike. If you have a little one to change there is normally a big queue by the toliets upstairs but there in another baby change downstairs behide the Costa which is always quite.
l. g.
Still has a few shops, but many disappeared with empty retail units. So sad.
The centre itself is well maintained, clean and tidy.
M. A.
Lots of great shops to visit.A lovely, clean shopping centre.
K. T.
Great places to eat and shop and a soft play area gor younger kids to get their energy out
G. P.
I just use 2 shops in the place, but the gardens are sound for your lunch at the top, it's a good place and needed
A. M.
Very nice place
V. P.
There is literally every shop under one roof.. Are you fancy some fashion? You will be pleased. Are you fancy jewellery? They got it either. Hungry? Not problem at all. Electronic, pharmacy, health?
G. M.
Good they seen the sense to allow you access through the centre during the covid-19 pandemic
WhSmith and the Post Office also two others shops are open
Nice place to catch your breath have a seat on their funky seating if and when you're allowed to go retail therapy shopping
E. C.
Passed through going to Boots pharmacy during lockdown. All quiet - nice and clean! Just WHSmith (for post office), Sainsbury's & Holland and Barrett's open. N.B. masks needed!
V. J.
Good to go for shopping and overall to spend time. It is nice to go with my young son, because there's a great playing area for him too, than I can relax a bit and have coffee with my friend after shopping.
s. a.
Used to be a good place for hanging out and shopping before the pandemic. Most of the shops have lost their business, thus the shopping center looks quite barren.
G. “. W.
Your typical faceless shopping centre....like any other shopping centre in any other city. Good covid systems in place, shame some don't know their left from their right. Good parking and fairly cheap. Always clean.
S. F. R.
Expect the jewelry shop and Costa everything else is overpriced. You can find a few places and that's it nothing special.
L. T.
Wasn't overcrowded and plenty centre staff cleaning surfaces which was good. Visited New Loo, Next, Waterstones and DiMaggio's all good 😁
S. P.
After the pandemic, this place has gotten a bit sad, but I'm coming to Boots and Costa
M. G.
One of the older centres less busy than union square with a good selection of places to eat and shop. Coffee shops and stalls in both centres. Situated right in the city centre with plenty parking spaces. The guys that clean your car while you shop are also very good. Spaces are a little tight for a bigger 4x4 car especially the corners when navigating
M. W.
Shops were great. Very clean shopping centre, people wearing there masks all the time.
R.
Nice and clean with a great selection of shops
T. R.
Children loved the big slide but it's not very 'slidey' the poor kids have to 'force' themselves down and after 2 go's they had had enough!
Sand pit good idea but maybe cut down on older kids using it as they are far too rough and end up throwing sand
j. w.
Nice place to shopping with play area for kids.
P. P.
Could do with better shops
F. R.
Great shops and parking all under one roof
G. A.
Clean and tidy and plenty of shops
c. m.
Looks like a kids play centre now
R. G.
Shame to see such a good shopping centre loosing so many shops. Don't know how long they'll survive
R. M.
A variety of shops for different needs. The centre is very well kept, clean and most shops have hand gel at the entrance.
E. B.
THE classic Aberdeen shopping experience! Plenty parking, an excellent valet service in the car park, loads of shop to suit everyone, a small kids area, terrific dining options and pleasantly quieter and cheaper on average than Union Square
F. S.
There are two main issues with this shopping centre. First is the difficulty to park and find a car park, as the signs are nowhere to be found. The second problem is that there is nowhere nice to eat here. Just lower end café food. Why are there no nice sit down restaurants here? This is a huge miss in my book.
B. A.
Located in Aberdeen high street ...with lots of shops banks, and restaurants around.
M. B.
I suppose this is just a reflection on the continued death of the Town centre. So many empty units it was sad. Ships that were there were perfectly fine not a great variety.
N. S.
I had a really nice salad for tea at the bon accord centre. It looked good, WS fresh and tasted good. I wish there was plates available to eat food from. There is nonetheless a very interesting choice of healthy and slightly exotic food on the menu
B. O.
The place to go for some food and shopping
J. D.
It's quite a good shopping centre, shops such as SUPERDRUG, OFFICE, MISS SELFRIDGE, PC WORLD /CURRY'S plus concession stands selling phone covers and cookies. No toilet facilities or baby changing which let's it down. But it is close to other centres and shops
M. J.
Really impressed that despite the lockdown and all the shops closed, we were still able to go inside. Excellent higiene measures and complying with social distancing whilst providing an excellent service
T. A.
Brill selection of shops until covid 19 hit, Love the food markets upstairs good selection.... Clean mall and the xmas decs they do are really stunning good place for xmas presents..... Shame to see alot of empty units
H. K.
Good place but don't recommend going on week days during school time as all the Robert Gordon student come during lunch at pack everything
S. O.
The new rooftop garden is fab for the kids to let off some steam while we're in town, and the activities up there for the Nuart festival were wonderful! The remodelling of the food court is great too, as is the indoor play area in bad weather.
E. M.
I love the bon accord shopping mall. So many different shops. Yankee candles jewellery shops holiday shops, boots, men kind. Staff are always on hand to help. Many food eateries fantastic
R. F.
Generally a main pedestrian walkway lined by a variety of shops. The central walkway is obstructed by seating areas and mobile outlets for a variety of services making walking easily impossible. The reception for mobile phones is poor and erratic. Automatic doors are only at the extremities of the walkway and lead to queues.
l. r.
It's most important things
D. W.
Easy to park at Loch St. Good sized car park spaces. We'll lit. Clean. Handy for John Lewis etc
B. H.
Like this place nice shopping experience great friendly shop staff
M. S.
I tend to spend alot of time in here as i work very close by, It sad to see some of the shops slowly fade away to make way for new ones. the food court is still not what it once was, and the space not being used in the cornere where Yo Sushi used to be is painfully obvious
K. G.
Sad that all the shops are disappearing but the ones that are left have staff that are helpful and well mannered. Does also have a Pret which is always a bonus
J. K.
Got a soft spot for Bon Accord. From going there as a schoolkid to buying my first makeup from Boots. It's changed over the years, shops have come & gone but I find it friendly & warm. Plenty to visit & if you get tired there's seats to collapse on in the main area or various outlets to grab a sandwich & coffee before you get a next wind to shop more!
I. R.
Great to get out shopping again. Double vaxxed and bolstered. So should be OK.
T. W.
A lovely bright centre with ample parking and small play areas for the kids. Shops include Next, John Lewis and Waterstones. There are lots of places to eat.
J. B.
High capacity for shops being open. That in itself is huge for these kind of places in Scotland.
R. C.
Many shops are open. Very quiet. No crowds. Everyone observing COVID-19 precautions.
A. T.
Plenty of space to move around
R. S.
I think it's a brilliant shopping centre for visitors , it has every range of shops the only thing is getting the car parked .To my thinking ,parking Is too expensive.
Ron Stephen.
I. M.
There on my way to Marks & Spencer & The Card Factory
H. D.
Unfortunately both have feeling of neglect more a passing through place than shopping experience. Real lack of independent shops although often at weekends you will find local Art/Craft Fardre for something different
A. H.
Standard shipping mall, but with good range of shops and a couple of different options for eating. From Yo Sushi to Pret a Manger. Good car parking, but gets busy at peak times if year.
E. M.
Two shopping centre with the convenience of getting between Union Street and George Street. You'll find a large variety of shops, a couple of coffee shops, and a few restaurants. The staff are also friendly and ready to help. If you're visiting Aberdeen, definitely visit these centres.
K. M.
Can only pay for parking by card
F. C.
Large shopping centre with a variety of shops and well looked after restrooms.
R. M.
Lovely Coffee and apple pie super service and friendly chat Covid friendly 2 well worth a visit fine cakes and hot toasties and many other fine things
S. G.
Excellent service? Excellent food..
Covid rules well in place.
Well done have been many times before and will continue to do so.
D. M.
Was in to Boots for eye test. Very thorough eye test & new glasses arriving shortly.
O. j. I.
It's warm and you will find a lot of stuff here
M. U.
Beautiful place, but business around here is slow.
D. M.
It's okay but I'm giving it 5 stars because it needs more business since covid
B.
Bright and clean shopping centre with a good variety of shops and empty units weren't too obvious
M. E. (.
Bon accord centre is an alright shopping centre having a lot of stores, snack shops and a few restaurants.
Everything is kept reasonably clean, as clean as a shopping center can be.
L. C.
Sad to see some shops gone. They do however have a man creche where you can leave him on a deck chair to watch football or tennis.
V. F.
Great shopping mall which has various stores for adults and also kids. You can spend your time here shopping and also there is a food court upstairs to have a meal with the family.
D. K.
Still a nice place to shop, but a shame there's a lot of empty retail units now.I just hope they can get them occupied again soon.
A. J.
It's a good shopping center and has a good mix of shops and more importantly somewhere to park while my wife looks round 🤣. The parking is good and late night shopping on a Thursday can sometimes be a god send.
K. P.
This centre has Boots the Chemist, mobile phone companies (O2, Vodafone EE and Carphone Warehouse), Waterstones for books etc, River Island Disney and when you're ready for some refreshments and food, there's Costa Coffee.
j. e.
has every quality shopping shops you'd need, from Currys, the Carphone warehouse,3 network to health care ,holland & barrett, the body shop & boots, also food shops Sainsburys,Mark's & Spencers & a few sweet shops in the middle Thorntons being my favourite...
a. h.
A shopping arcade is as is but at least this has a fair mix of shops. It's a great pity that they decided to put all the catering in one spot. Recipe for congestion!!!
O. R.
A nice shopping mall with many big brands like M&S. It also has a large multistory Boots branch. It's in the heart of Union Street which makes it more convenient.
H. E.
One of my favourite Boots branches, very big ,loads of varieties of mostly everything Boots offers . Staff are really friendly, professional and always guide you towards excellent offers and different prices that save money
C. M.
Nice selection of shops, cleN and well secured
N. T.
I was due to meet friends in Aberdeen and with street parking limited and only free after 8 pm, I chose to park in the Bon Accord Centre, it was great, plenty of spaces, secure and well lit in the car park and I didn't know the retail centre was open until 11 pm.
C. F.
Love Bon Accord Centre there's lots of great shops, cafes and restaurants
T. M.
Not what it used to be. Good effort put into making it look nice in spite of the architecture but you can't hide the missing shops
E. M.
The Bon Accord shopping centre has a great variety of stores to browse. Various restaurants to stop for a bite to eat. Multistorey parking is also available and you can usually find a space.
K. N.
These are among the original shopping centres in Aberdeen. If you want clothes, cards, beauty products and more they will be available here if don't want to go into the bigger centre and can be found in the centre of town.
S. M.
Just a mall. There are no particularly novel shops, other than the chains you see everywhere.
Not an interesting experience or something worth seeking out for new ideas.
M. M.
Easy access. Good car park .easy access for wheelchairs and 2 lifts.and a large variety of shops.an eateries of different themes although would NOT recommend eating there, very poor quality
M. B.
Good wee centre to browse in, with game and such upstairs and a few decent shops downstairs. Shame Hawkins bazaar and man kind are no longer there though
N. C.
Bon accord is a gorgeous building with high class roofs plenty of places to sit and relax and have some food ive never been much of a fan of shopping but i hear their clothes shops are pretty good.
D. J.
Lots of shops, well managed Mall
A. P.
Nice place with lot of options for food.
J.
Great shopping centre with all shops and brands and a big John Lewis.
Has it all if your looking fora coffee and chat or a nice meal, grocery shopping and clothes shopping.
L. W.
Plenty of shops to have a look in
C. S.
The staff at the O2 shop in the Bon Accord Centre are fabulous. Very helpful, knowlegable and always kind and understanding. The centre is always clean and covid rules are easy to understand.
L. B.
This centre is the hub of Aberdeen lots of good shops .It needs another plain fare food outlet though ,it even has small play places for toddlers .
M. A.
Good range of shops, plenty of seating, love the steps
J. w.
Great shops between the two places lots of phone shops and clothes shops aswell only problem was parking have to use the multi storey at the back but be sure the shop you need is there as 1 min you find out and still costs £2.50 for up to 1 hour and up and up for longer not much other parking around but handy for being in bon accord centre.
C. V. B.
The classic and long running shopping mall of Aberdeen, variety of shops and places to eat will keep you busy for a good while or good for a quick in-and-out if you know what you're after.
s. m. d. D.
My local costa. Come here alot. Only fault some times latte isn't hot enough..
R. M.
A large shopping centre of union Street. Very handy for m&s
I. B.
Busy with shoppers today. Mt partner & I had a cup of tea at Costa cafe which wasn't busy
R. T. Y.
Smallish mall, but a good amount of stores.
G. D.
Centre its self was nice and friendly , car park prices fair and not as GREEDY as N.C.P , which we will NEVER use ever again.
The only let down was paid £20 for a full valet in the centre car park , our car was fairly clean anyway but we thot why not , well that was a rip off as it wasnt hooverd , had to say to guy windows on inside havnt been cleaned , he done them infront of us , and still birds poo and dead insects on front grill. We where away for over 2.5hrs so they had plenty of time.
G. G.
Nice spacious shopping areas can be rather busy on a Saturday but so can any town centre mall. Car parking facilities are adequate but again may be congested at busy times
M. H.
A good range of shops and its usually easy to find a Parking Space in the Multistory Car park. There are a couple of places to grab a bite to eat or a coffee within the Centre.
A.
A fairly decent selection of shops spread over two shopping malls separated by Schoolhill, the road between them. Usually clean with good toilet facilities in the Bon Accord centre.
N. M.
Really nice place to go out for a day of shopping, got great restaurant's up stairs so you can shop till you drop and eat once you've finished shopping #greatplace and got everything from shoes to toys
U. E.
Great place to shop fir lots of things
L. S.
Empty. Most shops have gone
f. m.
Lots of different shops great cafes and snack options but not a lot of choice in the way of meals. Can spend a good few hours looking at everything
P. M.
Sad to see so many shops closed. The parking is still vital for the city center
H. G.
It was a nice place to shop years ago now its not got the good shops like the union square! Also christmas 8n the bon accord used to be a nice place to take young children pity they took away all the nice christmas scenery away for the young ones
r. u.
Thos shopping mall is one of my favorites. Big and nice shops there. Good restaurants too. But parking is not free
A. G.
Nice centre but like most of Aberdeen, lots of it's shops are closing
M. S.
I had a wander through it on my lunchtime and it was ok. Just the regular shops you see in shopping malls, a shame it didn't have any small independent shops too.
J. D.
Great shopping centre with a vast variety of shops. Lovely food court upstairs. Brilliant outdoor seating area between the two malls.
S. G.
This is a great shopping centre it has most shops in it depending what your looking for.

A. D.
everything is open so you can shop till you drop and there's lots of sales just now
B. C.
Alot of shops with lots of foodie place. EE, VODAFONE, O2, M&S Pret-a-mangé and so on
G. G.
Good shopping centre. Nice environment, very clean
P. W.
Very clean, can be busy most shops are accessible for people with disabilities Toilets are upstairs by Lift, very clean and ,Disabled friendly
I. H.
Great place for basic shopping and essentials
Y. B.
I think people should wear a mask and remain within at least 2 metres of each other, and let's just get together and beat this.
S. P.
Good shops a hassle going from one centre to the other. But nice to look around.
L. G.
Nice shopping centre with a variety of shops.
They have plenty of events for younger children and really contribute to their local area!
P. D.
The best of the many shopping centres of Aberdeen. The better and bigger stores here, including the John Lewis department store and a big Next.
A. A.
Quite disappointing. Gone downhill in past few years. Only a couple of shops worth visiting in my opinion.
D. H.
Nice place for shopping I particulary liked that they have great choices for men clothing too. It lost a bit of it's charme since the mall down at the sation opened.
K. G.
Great shops of all kinds. You could get all your Christmas shopping in on centre. Plus enjoy a cuppa/snack inbetween. 🎄🎍
M. S. (.
Majority of everything you need from clothing to electrics etc etc, with food and beverage restraunts up the stairs. Also a big BOOTS shop in there also which is always handy.
D. E.
Nice Shop
S. R.
This shopping centre has changed alot over the past few years. Better selection of shops and eateries. Plenty parking with 2 large multi stories.
L.
Lovely stuff , place is clean however the waiting sometimes is a bit long
O. S.
You have a wonderful City Centre experience
J. M.
Great location and collection of shops. Plenty of places to relax indoors when the weather doesn't allow you to enjoy the rooftop area.
B. S.
Typical modern shopping centre albeit the larger stores are outside of it. Beware the seagulls when leaving with food. No, really, beware the seagulls.
S. S.
Good selection of shops and very accessible.
It has it's own parking structure as well.
L. T.
Great for shopping. My nearest town is Dundee and it is well worth the hour journey to Aberdeen to come shopping here! Highly recommend
I. B.
All shops are open now, implementing covid safety measures, there are hand sanitisers inside.
H. G.
Used to be alovely place due to all the shops moving out due the covid .. sad to see the times are changing used to bee a busy center

R. M.
Friendly shopping centre, good variety of shops, clean and easy to use. All staff very helpful and pleasant.
L. H.
Such a shame that we have lost a few of the stores due to the pandemic. But im sure it will pick up in the future:)
M. C.
Just such a shame there are so many empty, closed shops.
N. T.
Very empty these days
C. N.
Serene environment, nice temperature and good coffee at Costa's. Nice for studying, reading and surfing with free cloud internet.
J. S.
Always had a good selection of shops, but in the past decade it feels somewhat outdated by Union Square. Their refurb a year or two ago helped that quite a bit.
m. e.
Plenty of shops to choose from in this nice and clean centre
E. M. K.
I like having a good browse round all the shops, then meet up with a friend for lunch or coffee at one of the many outlets
G. W.
Good selection of shops and eateries with covid-19 rules being followed 😁🤘🏻
T. A. B.
Convenient shopping centre with adjacent parking in the heart of the city. I love the Waterstones bookstore and WH Smith, as well as the Boots store.
A. K. J.
A typical shopping mall with an M&S as an anchor store. Competitors are the mall down in Union Square (near railway station). Bob Accord is accessible from the main street (Union Street).
N. A.
It's a shopping center, no frills nothing to rave about, it is what it is.
C.
It's a generic shopping mall and it's a bit grim at the best of times.
L. K.
The Bon Accord is okay just a pity there’s not more shops.
J. M.
Good shops and nice places to eat at and the toilets are always immaculate there is always someone at the toilets cleaning only down fall is build a bear workshop is no longer there :-(

It's nice and clean with a fair amount of shops,, but it's also a bit on the cramped side for a city like Aberdeen.
B. W. (. B.
Sadly it's like a ghost town, and what with John Lewis closing, the future looks bleak, to save your shops, get out spending.....
