Think you are limited to 3 hour parking, a few useful spots (Gym, Subway, Jolleys Pet store that sells the BIGGEST Doggo biccys I ever saw!), but a tad gloomy otherwise.

Good place Local so good for picking up odds and ends. Has a B&M so good for bargains, and a garden centre which is pretty sizeable. A Jolleys if u wanna buy a pet hamster on a whim A dunelm for an extra fun mug rack??? Or whatever else you need And a gym which I don't care about because I'm lazy but it might be your thing :)

Small retail park with a good selection of shops. Lots of parking. There is no link through to St. John's Retail Park which has always seemed a bit silly as I think it would benefit both retail parks. Instead you have to drive round to the other one. There is 2 places to eat on this retail park now - in Dunelm and the Subway. Worth the visit if you're looking for home products and a short day trip.

Not a bad retail park. With Dunhelm Mill and B&M plus a pet store and a gym, tanning salon and a Subway. The parking is usually adequate and is free although it can get a bit full over the holidays. Getting out used to be a problem but the traffic lights at the exit were upgraded last year and it doesn't seem so bad now. TLDR: Couple of nice shops with free parking.

Smaller of the two Bedford stores and does not sell alcohol or chilled food unlike the other one. However, I still find most things I need when visiting this store, and is maybe the better choice to go for if you don't want to get carried away! Plenty of parking outside which is shared with other retail units units as B&M, Jollyes, Dunelm, The Gym, Subway and a tanning shop.

Small retail park but a nice variety of shops and plenty of parking. The area is kept clean and the parking spaces are decently spaced unlike some places. The only off putting area of this place is the shambolic exit strategy as nobody seems to know how to use the traffic lights when leaving as the traffic is going in four directions when you pull out. On the whole would not stop me coming back here!

I'd not been in this store for ages, so this visit reminded me what an Aladdin's cave this store is .... so many quality items under one roof. I'm definitely going back with a shopping list 🙂

Nice little coffee shop. Snacks are lovely. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Would most defo recommend to come here and have a little break. They even have a little section of colouring etc for the little ones to be busy while u can watch them and have your coffee.

How an (not quite) out of town retail park should be like. Lots of parking, good stores and jolleys staff were really lovely. 3 hours limit on the parking but still good as access to London road is second away on foot.

Not very big but has a couple of good shops, my personal favourites being B&M and Dunelm (Subway is a nice touch as well!! And just around the corner is the St Johns Retail Park (Also known as Rose Walk) with a rather nice Hobbycraft, (MK42 0XE) amongst other shops as well! :-)

The park has a wide range of facilities and goods for the home. Parking is available which is convenient for bulk shopping. In addition the price range of most of the products here seem to be gentle on the pocket.

This was a trip to Dunelm to purchase some new sheets. Looking in the bargain bucket we found a king size 700 thread for £14.00 an absolute brilliant price. Also on this small retail park is a gym, pet store and B&M

Alban Retail Park is a small area of shops & parking just off London Rd, Bedford. Shops include Dunelm, B&M, Jollyes (pet store), Gym, Subway & a generous parking area. The only places to eat are Dunelm & Subway. Dunelm has a public toilet located on 1st floor to the far right, at the very back. The cafe is opposite at the far right, 1st floor front of store. Variety of shops suiting all wallets. Parking is free & all shops have disabled parking bays & wheelchair access. Dunelm & B&M are both large stores with a full range of products & I recommend both. B&M also has 2-3 small fridges at the tills for cold drinks. Dunelm's 'coffee cafe' has young children's 'packed lunch's (sandwich, drink & treat' & a range of coffee's & tea plus cold drinks & lovely selection of toasties, panini's etc with a very tempting array of cakes, pastries etc - not cheap but reasonably priced to keep you going. The only real minus point is the winding access road which has its own traffic signal filter in & out plus 2 pedestrian crossings. It does get busy & backed up with traffic in & out occasionally so I recommend you take care leaving the park at the crossroads as you're also competing with traffic filtered from a side direction so please take caution. Otherwise this is a great little retail park to keep you busy for a morning. Enjoy.
