Reviews of Swan Shopping Centre
d. r.
Always a great place to shop. The security guards are always so friendly. Literally the only thing that lets it down is the beggars outside. Shelves are always full and the quality of fruit in Tesco's is the best. Keep up the good work x
C. S.
Haven't been to the Swan for quite some time ... but I was pleasantly surprised on my recent visit.
So much better now.
Shops are more relevant, and the place was nice and clean.
S. S.
Night view of swan shopping centre. In swan shopping centre Poundland Tesco sports direct Greegs Costa shoes zone Subway and many more stores are there. If you are nearby you must visit this place once.
J. M.
Multiple Shops and a great variety to choose from. Everything you need all in one place.
Great for a big shop or to just pop in to buy a few essentials. Definitely a place to shop 🤗
K. S.
My local shopping centre. It actually does exactly what it says on the "Tin". 🙂.
Everything you need under one roof including Greg's and Costa. It's nice to have a drink after a long shopping trip.
Y. Z.
Not alot of choice with regards to a selection of stores. However did manage to bag a few bargains. Depends on the type of stores available to browse. I like a shopping centre to have a variety of stores. Some of you may like small shopping centres. Toilets were disgusting.
f. P.
Plenty of free parking good bus routes nice selection of shops and place to grab a coffee. All on one level and public toilets available.
S. M.
It's okay, some nice stores along with a coffee shop, Greggs and located across Oaklands Recreation Ground (large park).
C. m.
Parking is a problem, if you have kids & use the child parking area or use the disabled parking as I've seen people use these carparking spaces with no children and no disabled badges ♿ which makes it difficult for people with kids or people with disabilities to park, otherwise it is a good place to shop
K.
Several shops with large Tesco. Very big car park, easy access and popular. Good to pop in or have a longer shopping experience, have used coffee shop for meet ups with friends too. Never feels overcrowded but is often bustling. Only drawback is the exit from the car park onto mini island which could do with lights as it can take a while to get out.
G. P.
There is a lot I can say about the swan centre. The shops inside the centre are convenient. It's just a shame the apartments above are full of crackheads that like to linger around the entrance. I have heard of multiple thefts and attacks on people in the car park. Security are daily having to chase shop lifters. Basically it's a dodgy area so just be cautious. However the gym located in the swan centre is the best in the area with a great community vibe
B. L.
Well contained indoor shopping centre with a mid sized two story Tesco. Bakery, grab & go lunch, some garden, home stuff, medium clothing range, men's, women's, children and school range, hair salon, makeup shelves, pharmacy, Travel money, opticians & photo shop contained internally.
External to the Tesco shop there are multiple units inside and out of the complex including a Costa, Subway, Greg's, Pound Land Pep&Co, Timpson's (shoes, clothes and keys), Specsavers, phone store, charity shop, sports Direct, Holland & Barrett, Claire's Accessories, Card Factory, Savers, Console (sun beds), Betting shop, Tutor support for pre collage 11-16, more charity shops. There's also a no charge cash point outside.
The area is well maintained for the most part and the cleaner and team are often seen working hard to ensure the carpark and internal areas are clean and tidy and the Tesco store itself is nearly always of a good standard with plenty of products to offer. I do a family shop here weekly and don't struggle to find what I need.
Parking is good, plenty of space. Customer toilets available. Wheelchair accessible entrance to the centre& toilets as well as all shops and the mezzanine in Tesco is accessed via a lift within the shop).

The makeover/update has really brought the swan centre upto date! It was definitely needed as it was tired & rundown I used to go on bus trips there with my Nan over 30yrs ago when I was around 10yrs old & when I started driving myself years later it was still the same with the old indoor market just a lot more empty spaces where the cobbler was & haberdashery, sweet shop where sweets were in jars & u would ask for a quarter of strawberry bonbons to be weighed out & they would ask if it was ok to be 3pence over! And liquorice sticks etc just on the counter 4 everyone to stick their hands in! No health & safety issues back then! I Miss traditional sweetshops! Anyway the update was well needed & always busy when I go!

this shopping center have tesco, poundland, greggs, sports direct, shoe zone , pepp and Co, subway, costa,
phone repairs and accessories, savers, every day essential stores available in this shopping center.
Y. S.
The main shopping focus is Tesco. However, there is Sports Direct, Peacocks, Savers, Claire's Accessories, Card Factory and other shops and little stalls. There's Greggs, Subway, Costa for light bites. There are toilet facilities and loads of parking. All in all a reasonable place to shop.
H. J.
Nice place to shop - although my main reason for visiting is always the Tesco and the sweetcorn stand just outside :)
J. P.
Not many trolleys outside shop asked security guard for help locating one he told me they were scattered around car park and to go look for one !!
Brilliant deal on Easter eggs
£2 with club card
A.
The place is more than wonderful, all the products are available and the prices are very good and the most thing I like is natural products and also halal food
A. J.
good possibility with parking
and shopping, but there are long queues at checkout in Tesco. Remember to dedicate extra time. especially holidays and Saturdays.
T. Z.
Great space and all what you need in one space. Costa. Subway. Pound land. And much more. Loads of parking
S. S.
It an OK place to shop. But still could do with a few more shops to give a bit more choice.
S. C.
Great little shopping centre, nice diversity of stores : clothing, phones, barber, supermarket, health store, coffee shop, bakery, etc.
G. P.
Love going to tesco at the swan got mobility scooter to help me do my shopping staff are very friendly and it's cheaper than the other supermarkets
H. P.
My local shopping centre, so I always use the Tesco. Good variety of shops if you're local. Not really somewhere you could go if you're coming from afar, but a great local treasure
K. C.
Celebrating 10 years of the Men's cubicles being out of order! Here's to the next 10 🍻 👏 ✌️
S. A.
Good range of shops. Tesco, sports direct, Poundland, savers. Free car parking
C.
Has everything you really need here.. Great selection of shops to go through and spend a day going around. Get all your shopping needs done here! Great amount of parking spaces too so it's no struggle getting through to it, making it accessible to wheelchair users also. A worthwhile trip to get everything done in a day
G. C.
Good place to shop. Big area. All necessary shoping
S. P.
The tesco is huge, shoezone has regular sales, the savers is well stocked a d everything is accessible
T. H.
Good little shopping centre but dominated by Tesco. Not really a big variety of shops. Could do with some new and exciting shops to add to what they already have
R. B.
Plenty of shops and toilets. With fast food
B. 7.
Great Store visited but the toilets are not up to standards even though the cleaners do their jobs and clean as best as they could
A. G.
Can't fault the quality at Tesco's but the prices have certainly gone up on a lot of items by 50p on some. You don't mind a few pence but think they are taking the mick.
U. B.
Great shopping centre with most of your favourites, sports direct, savers, specsacers, three, tesco, poundland, peacocks, costa, greggs, hollands and barretts, card factory, shoe zone, theres also a charity shop and key cutting unit, massive carpark, cash point outside tesco and the mall has clean public toilets. Wheel chair friendly
V. W.
It's like other supermarkets not so much for your money and it sell things you don't need.no butchers for fresh meat don't like off the shelf in packets.
M. N.
A great local place to shop and eat. Huge car park and access to local bus
D. W.

The Swan Shopping Centre is a large shopping centre with three main entrance and exits. The centre has a very large Tesco st ore on the right hand side of the shopping centre and has many other shops including a Savers, Holland and Barrett, pets at home and some places to eat and drink including Greggs, Subway and Costa coffee. However, the prices at Subway cost more and not the same as the Solihull or Birmingham branches. There is a larger parking lot behind the main shopping center. The main entrance is located on the Coventry Road and had many bus stops that have services to Solihull and Birmingham and everywhere in between. The shipping centre is open to late most days and has large amount of staff working in Tesco. I would recommend coming on a weekday afternoon or evening as it won't be as busy.
S. H.
spent few minutes there but I liked the place
W. P.
Lovely not too big shopping centre with never struggle to park. Clean toilets. It's a great all weather place to shop. 3hr stay car park.
H. A.

Typical local shopping centre with the usual assortment of shops...
M. H.
Its the local shopping centre, with tesco, pound land, Holland and Barratt, Greg's, subway, Costa, sport direct, specsavers, savers, Claire & peacocks. Its not bad but only go here for tesco as its local to me. Massive car park so plenty of spaces.
K. P.
Big Tesco there petrol and few more shop nice place
A. L.
Clean and efficient lots if stores under the one room. Great free parking facilities
T. B.
There are a variety of shops to cover most needs. Plenty of parking spaces to.
R. B.

A. B.
A good selection of shops, hairdressers and biggest tesco I've seen.
M. I.

P. B.
Great indoor shopping centre nice and clean place.
D. T.
Quite a few good shops theres a large Tesco's theres so.e lovely Christmas stands with lovely stuff
v. m.
Plenty of parking spaces and decent stores in the complex including Tescos and Greg's ,Specsavers and Poundland. There are far to.many dissabled spaces in the car park around 50% which is crazy.HP barbers is a good value barbers by Tescos quick Service , clean and reasonably priced. Worth a look
J. L.
Decent shops always clean! 😊
d. w.
Shoes shops, charity shops, Costa, pound shop a bit of everything you need and a huge tescos!!!
A. B.
Nice to have so many shops local and in one place. Bit annoying to not be able to take a Tesco trolley into some stores though. I used to try getting a trolley from Tesco itself instead of outside but they don't seem to put them there anymore or they're always finished when I go.
d. b.
Large Tesco Extra with good parking also Subway,Gregg,Savers.Costas. Claire. Sports direct. Pep & Co. Poundland and Timpsons. A few specialist stalls. Jewellery. Watches, phone cases and a honey stall. Must add that tesco prices have really shot up recently however staff levels seemed to have dropped. Never see more than half the checkouts open and long queues especially on the weekend
A. W.
Positives: Good variety of stores, great accessibility, always clean, smart presentation (pre-covid).
Negatives: The stalls in the main shopping centre could do with a refurbishment that makes them look professional.
J. O. N.
Plenty of other outlets there from duper market to car shop
U. F.
Good place for grocery and cloths/shoes shopping with spacious free parking
S. M.
I like Swan shopping centre it's always nice and clean
J. M.
Accessible location.
They have a good indoor, local market space before the main Tesco entrance.
There was a specialist honey stall with honey and nigella. I imagine this should be good boost for your immune system (my opinion - that's my disclaimer, as I have never seen it before). I bartered this honey price down from £16 to £13. Let's hope he does the same for you. (And that he is still selling at the location - before you reach the entrance of Tesco).
Tesco. The place that never fails to deliver. However, I was looking for sesame snaps. Nowhere to be found. Possibly due to a shortages. No worries. They had plain sesame seeds, though. Pity, I don't have the recipe. Also, the supermarket was well stocked. I know this has been an issue in some shops recently.
K. M.
Great place! Found a great Honey stall here 100% raw, absolutely love it!
A. W.
Parking is a complete and utter nightmare even to find a disabled space or child space due to other people's selfishness whom are not disabled or don't have any child/ren with them, just a need of wanting to be nearer to the entrance. They need someone out there to check on such things. Apart from that it was a great experience for me as I've been on lockdown for a year. Mostly everyone was face masked up and sanitizer was available and still the 2 metre rule to help keep everyone safe in this covid situation.
M. F.
It's okay here, very busy most of the time, but if you're planning on going into Tesco be prepared for people to keep walking in front of you while you're shopping and people rushing, pushing carts out the way like animals to get to the reduced section.
D. D.
Clean enough very big car park
A. I.
My all time favorite place to feel good.
E. M.
I live it. I have 2 years shopping mainly from here.
Anything what I need is in there, tesco, poundland, savers, shoe zone and others
Huge car park.
Nice staff at security.
Toilet are clean.
If you want a coffee you have Costa, Greg's or subway.
P. J.
Brilliant place to shop. I can get most of my shopping done.
P. B.
Very civilised place to do late night shopping (hope it goes back to 24hr opening at some point!). Loads of parking, and of course they sell absolutely everything
B.
It was lovely to go late night shopping. Friendly staff. Loved the quietness. It's convenient for me as my husband is with the children at home. And I can come with my friend together to get our weekly groceries together. And I like the way they don't serve alcohol after 10. So you don't get late night drunk people coming and it's safe for women to go. They have security there as well . Parking is great to. Highly recommended for women to come out on there own. I love it.
J. K.
This shopping centre has a good selection of shops and snack bars.
M. J.
Went to get a lock for luggage. It's a massive Tesco but I asked a member of staff who was most helpful. He knew exactly where to find the item and took me to it. Great service.
P. A.
Nice big tesco that sells electricals and clothing.
Also a few other shops Including, Savers, Pound land, Specasvers, Sports Direct, H & B and a few little food outlets to grab a coffee
L. M.
This shop caters for everyone needs eg variety of food stocks clothing, vegetables, flowers, cards, soft drinks, cookedmeals news papers households things eg.washing powder, Dry foodstuff, tin foods, alcohol, pharmacey, pet needs, baby foods, veg. fruits etc etc. most things that is required for one needs under one roof
, etc. etc. Clothing, Friendly Staff at check out, and some reasonable prices overall.
M. S.
Centre is good place with lots of local shops to check out. The security guards in particular the Somalian guy is really welcoming and very friendly. Place seems to be very clean and tidy.
You can find pretty much everything your looking for.
J. B.
Good all round excellent for a variation of shops
J. B.
Needs more shop's, not exciting to do shopping here unlike other shopping center Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Bullring
C.
Good mix of shops and good access around them all. Has Toilets and a cash point, plus it's all indoors. A good place if you want a mooch around even on a day with bad weather. Good parking for drivers and easy access for bus users.
J. S.
The people here are friendly I don't know all the names I wish I did so I could say them but I do know one her name is bekkie she works morning and it's the morning staff that I see more they are all lovely an friendly well done to them all they do a great job 😊❤
J. R.
l was only half way towards Tesco's ,l had counted 10 people this was 9 at night not wearing masks,l just did a U turn.what is wrong with some people.they must be either thick or don't care.come on you idiots wear your face masks,or just stay at home.
Z. F.
Shopping at Tesco is great not today shopper gone mad no eggs in the shop what a people going to do with them hach chickens
p. a.
Just another shopping place built around tesco
M. R.
Always busy here. Went to the Card factory, easily found what I was looking for and served pleasantly. Tesco experience was a normal shop as always.
Y. K.
I visited Tesco at the Swan and you've to wear a mask to enter this shopping centre rightly so and they have staff to enforce rules. They is a long queue for Tesco, but it quickly moves along so not to much headache. Before entering Tesco they have staff to make sure you are complying with Covid rules and a cleaning station at entrance handgel etc.Once inside, its shop as normal. Tesco has alot of choices and staff are fine,it's clean and has spacious aisles. The centre has other stores Greggs, Specsavers, Savers,Sportsdirect, Subways, Costa and Holland &Barrett so decent selection of shop so worth a visit.
T. N.
Place were we can get everything, we'll organised
M. L.
Plenty of parking. Massive tesco store. Nice little subway, costa and greggs among other shops
A. B.
Good selection of shops. Lots of safety measures in place to stop the spread of Covid-19. Just a shame a small number of people argue with security and do not adhere to the rules. We should all be responsible and care for one another. We are all in this together.
S. F.
Very good Tesco superstore, also have other shop in the same center like clothes shop, Poundland, saver, sports direct, Holland and Barrett etc
T. C.
Clean,well-stocked, and agreeable staff
P. T.
very clean and effective covid restrictions in place. not all the shops were open but there are a good variety of shops. very big car park loads of spaces.
M. I.
Best place I have visited in recent time, very good customers service and all kind of stuff available here
H.
On arrival I was asked what shop I was going to and then directed as to which side to enter (there's a partition dividing the left side from the right). Hand sanitisers are placed around the center at various points. Overall it was well organised, clean, well maintained with a good variety of shops (clothes stores, shoe store's, toiletries etc). Spacious parking area.
A. S.
A good centre, very handy shops and availability of products. Contrary to certain reviews, there is covid compliance at the Tesco store, there is always someone at the entrance to remind customers of face covering which is the reasonable thing to do. If you want to be chased though a store by police then go to Sainsburys. The problem with this area is the prejudice of the working class who incredulously think they are better than ethnic minorities in the area and therefore use any platform to display their personal predujice.
C. H.
Always busy. Good to see you can still sanitize trolley if you choose to.
R. S.
So many shops, can get everything from houseware to clothes all in one place even can get a bite to eat at costco and greggs. Easily spend the day shopping here.
D. W.
I went to tesco and enjoyed my browsing experience. I found different varieties of drinks, food ect and felt relaxed and safe within. My clubcard was a great help in saving me money & I came home a contented man. Try tesco sometime?
S. K.
Very nice and peaceful but closing very early except Tesco. If you are thinking to do a little amount of shooing then you don't need to go to city center other big shopping malls. And if you need some stuff like kitchen and food then come here because they have Tesco Extra which means it can accommodate all your needs for home shopping.
A. N.
Love this place has everything you need
J. D. B.
Good place big area to buying stuff
K. A. R.
An OK range of stores here, loads of free parking although the parent bays are often abused by people who don't have any kids with them. Wishful thinking, but it would be nice if this was monitored. Would also benefit from having a fee more seats available in the shopping center. Overall, clean and tidy with shops that sell high brand to budget items.
c. c.
Clean and tidy but big issues with parking especially in the disabled bays.
We had difficulty parking and noticed a lot of ppl with no blue badge occupying the bays.
N. H.
Has a bit of everything you need under one roof.
M. F.
One way system in operation. Have to wait outside to join the queue. Once inside then not too bad. But when I went on Sunday 6th June 2021 the one way system was removed. No queues. Very busy inside and car park was also very busy. Free car parking though
M. B.
Wasn't that impressed, they have a clothes section but no where to try them on and no mirrors. When i asked a member of staff why, tgey just said COVID, not very helpful 🙄
A. O.
One of the biggest Tesco Extra I have shopped at.
N. W.
There's a decent range of shops here. It's good for getting the basics when it comes to food and clothing. If you're just looking for something to complete an outfit you'll likely be in luck. The local area is a bit rough around the edges so best to be on your guard especially in the car park
S. B.
Reasonable selection of shops and easy parking and access by bus. Toilets need a complete refurbishment, it's not that they are out dated, they've not been there very long, they seem to have been built on the cheap so keep breaking down. They also need to be cleaned much more often.
S. B.
Great variety of shops - everything I needed in one place. Nice and clean too.
r.
Went to ride a white swan disappointed to not find one had a pasty instead
J. E.
The reasonably new rebuilt Swan shopping centre is an excellent shopping centre with store such as pound strechers to a major Tesco superstore usually open 24 hours a day (currently closes at midnight during covid national lockdown) a Breggs and many more very nice modern clean open area precinct shops, I've personally used Tesco's pound stretchers and supersavers (chemist type products such as hygiene grooming products aftershaves et da toilet ect) all of which have excellent customer services excellent range of products and more often than not very good quality products for reasonable prices.
S.
A nice clean shopping centre, especially in the morning and evening. Though it does get a bit too busy for my liking in the afternoon.
P. T. (.
Easy, good parking could do with a little more practical shops but all in all 7/10
M. S. (.
nice shopping center with lots of top stores like Tesco, sports direct and more. Nice one stop shopping center highly recommend visit for local residents.
S. M.
Due to corvid measures shopping can be annoying but has to be done, the general job/shop was ok most staff were very pleasent, but a little bit on there guard and keeping to the rules.
B. S.
Very good variety of shops love going there
A. B.
Nice shopping centre plenty of choice for your shopping and a massive Tesco. Unfortunately the pet shop closed not too long ago and that leaves a huge empty shop out front. Loads of parking out front and a few cash points too. Car wash in the parking lot seems cheap enough but never used them.
L. W. B.
nice clean shopping area. They have a massive Tesco there on two floors Wheelchair access is good as the esculators take trolleys and wheelchairs to the upper level. plenty of space.
pound land sports direct spec savers and Claire's and more. The pet shop has closed down. There is a cafe and some stalls in the centre. There is a cafe and toilets and good parking
S. P.
Nic shopping centre, but a shame that the Tesco's top floor is not open at the same time as the ground floor. Possibly due to covid can't wait for this nasty thing to be over!
B. H.
Has everything you need. Good covid measures. Generally clean. Most staff friendly and there's 24/7 security.
C. D.
Open space to walk an people are very friendly 😊
C. R.
Nice shopping centre, good selection of shops and not too busy.
R. M.
Tesco - its clean, most of the staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help. Love that you can 'self scan' while you shop, it's so convenient and much quicker at the till - obvs they do spot checks, which are fair enough. But, some staff members are more thorough than others - I have noticed that certain members of staff can't seem to be bothered to check the whole bag when doing the spot check and its busy - surely this is the time that those inclined to 'pilfer' will take advantage most??
J. S.
Site has easy access and a large car park. Usually relatively clean and a good range of stores within. Could do with some modernization. My only complaint being a regular to the center is the large number of sales people / charities and others who line the center of the main walk through and who always seem to bombard you as you walk by.
D. M. M.
Convinient. Good number of shops- there is a big tesco tgere, along with savers, poundland, card factory. They also have a costa, greg and subway, which is halal.
I. P.
A lot of people crammed into a small area it does have a Costa and subway though the Poundland everything costs more then a pound
N. C.
This shopping centre has a good variety of shops including two charity shops, savers, EE, spec savers, pep & co, peacocks, tesco extra, subway and costa coffee.
There are public toilets including disabled and baby change and security visible at most times, there is also a large carpark and cashpoints.
The centre is close to a farmfoods and connections to Birmingham City Centre, Coventry, Solihull, Acocks Green and Stechford.
b. g.
Very big with plenty of shops to look around ,
R. S.
Gets busy during the day and quietens down in the evening as just Tesco is open. A few stalls and stores of clothing/bags, sweetcorn food stall, pound shop, shoe store, sports direct, a gym, charity shops, Holland and Barrett, Claire’s accessories, specsavers and toilets are available.
M. E.
It can be quite drafty and cold. The public toilets are a place to avoid. They're very run down. It's not the cleaners fault but they're not pleasant. There's plenty of shops and a large enough Tesco to get whatever you want.
J. F.
Not bad. Tesco, Holland & Barret, Sports Direct, Poundland, shoe zone, Marie curie charity shop and others. Most staff here are friendly. Free phone for taxi service. Lots of parking space.
M. W. (.
The Swan Centre is noticeably getting older and more worn in places. Car park has a very dirty/ dusty feel to it with things damaged in places. Shops have been closed due to COVID but there's still a general atmosphere of negativity and a lack of COVID enforcement from security staff who are trying their best but there's simply too many people for them to challenge.
a. h.
The Tesco store is very big with 2 floors. Lots of variety. There is also a barber's stall in the centre and eyebrow threading. There is a Costa, subway and Greg's. Shops for pets, sports wear, gym, tuition centre plus a lot more. Very convenient for locals. Good for one stop shopping.
S. D.
I like shopping here. There is a big Tesco selling most major brands, and an electrical department upstairs, as well as homeware and clothes. There is a flat moving escalator so you can take your trolley with you. Also lots of little shops nearby, Claire's, Savers a Poundland as well as Costa Coffee, Card Factory and Holland & Barrett. Very clean, plenty of free parking available. Would recommend.
s. p. P.
I would like to spend more time here but what I saw of the place was good, a great place to shop and eat
Z. S.
Great place to come and shop. Nice selection of stores to choose from. Late night shopping, free and spacious car park. Well laid out and easy to get to and several other major chains on the same site. A few eating and coffee places.
c. g.
Nice shopping centre but needs more shops to open.Could do with another charity shop.
S. J.
Clean and tidy, the car park has more than enough places to accommodate. Great place to pick up some essentials
D. T.
Handy shopping centre with good free parking...some good shops as well as 24hr Tesco.
A. C.
As close to a Walmart or Real- that I have seen so far. Had a little bit of everything from small appliances to trash bags and frozen pizza.
I. M.
It's Tescos greggs cheap good coffee ☕ I've been to better shopping centres in Indonesia 🇮🇩
C. C.
The Swan has seen great improvements over the last few years. Though it’s overall look is a little dystopian the shops and selection are great. It feels safe and clean and that’s honestly all you really can ask for. Parking is great though there can be minor traffic jams like anywhere else. Also: all hail the sweet corn man
D. B.
This shopping centre has loads of different shops to forfil your needs. At the moment during lockdown savers, poundland and tescos are open but other stores are closed.
S. V.
Tesco is the main shop, they have other smaller shops like sports direct, spec savers Poundland greggs costa. Ample parking
I. m.
I visited the shopping centre today like most centres the same brand named shops a large Tesco enclosed not a bad place to visit for an hour
p. d.
Compare other big stores this store is missing lot's of halal and Asian foods, so if you what you looking maybe you can't find here.
M. B.
Always good selection of shops etc
R. B.
The Swan shopping centre has everything you need from a shopping centre. With a huge car park you always get a space and there's even a car wash.
There's a huge Tesco supermarket and Tesco petrol station, Sports Direct, Savers, Gregg's, Costco, Timpson's, Poundland, Pep n Co and lots more including stalls, a brow bar, mens barber's (who do a great cut) a vape stall, jewellery stall and handbag stall plus more I have missed.
Outside there's a 24 hour gym, cafe, charity shops and plenty of cash machines.
It's a very clean and modern place with security patrols regularly and a nice welcoming atmosphere.
Also it's easy to get to on the main A45 into Birmingham city centre. 10/10 👌
s. b.
I come here mainly for the large Tesco that is open 24hr Mon-Fri. As well as the well known brands, it has a decent stock of ethnic foods from Poland, Eastern-Asia, Middle-East & the Caribbean.
Also has a nice stock of junk foods from the USA for those with a sweet tooth. Prices are good & has staffed tills, self-service & self-scan.
The Tesco Petrol station nearby has always been one of the cheaper stations in the area & the car park is large & easily accessible.
s. s.
Spacious, Clean and Easy Parking
B. G.
Small and cute, there's a Costa and a Tesco. There's a couple of little charity shops too. Nice to meet up and have a chat with friends. Massive car park too so you'll always have somewhere to park!
P. L.
It's a lovely shopping centre, very clean you can get most things.
M. G.
A very good range of stores at this shopping centre. There a a selection of both independent and high street stores.
Was very busy when I visited, although there is ample car parking.
Quite easy to get to, just off a busy main road interchange.
S. A.
Great shopping at the swan Yardley. Tesco is the main shop with 16 other smaller outlets. Parking is plentiful and easy. You can grab a subway which is also Halal. There is Costa and a Gregg's if you fancy something different. The car park offers a carwashing service.
O. M.
Too many arrogant people refusing to we're either face masks or face sheilds. They should have tests by scientist because they obviously don't carry the covid virus , or maybe they're just freaks of nature, or just freaks
I. B.
Everything you need for a weekly family shop under one roof.
J. J.
Almost all the shops are here at Swan Centre. Some of them are Tesco, Poundland, Savers, Costa, Pep&Co, Consol, Claire's, Specsavers, Greggs, Sports Direct, Timpson, Peacocks etc. etc. Great clean and easily accessible area. Huge car parking. Petrol station too. Love this place.
T. S.
It's not the best place for shopping experience, but if you are local, the 24 hour tesco really comes in handy for those late night missions. They also have a sports direct for sportswear and a few more useful things that may mean nit having yo go all the way into town
o.
It’s not the best place for shopping but does the job.
m. c.
Dive but I still love it, been coming here since a kid
P. S.
A great shopping centre, with a Tesco, pound land, Pep and Co, Savers, Greg's, Card Factory plus more. So I think you would have no trouble in finding what you want here. The staff in Tescos are very helpful indeed as so are the staff in the Card Factory. Pep and Co have a very extensive range at a good price. There are toilets available and disabled toilets also. There are many buses running to here. There are a few stalls here.
S. B.
Tesco stop the escalator a whole hour before they close not allowed to go upstairs and they close majority of their shutters an hour before which puts people off coming here....
M. D. F.
This shipping centre has all the essentials with its Tesco's and Costa. It's always very calm and conveniently placed if you're waiting for a bus. Not very special, but useful nevertheless and it serves its purpose!
I. K.
Great Shopping Mall. You have Costa, Subway, Specsavers and many more shops here. Ideal for the locals and few minutes away from Oaklands Park.
J. A.
Decent number of shops
A.
Packed with tesco superstore, peacocks, shoezone, sports direct, subway, greggs, poundland and more in Swan shopping centre its fun doing shopping as a family especially during rainy or cold days as its all indoors.
And Free car park.
J. D.
Nice big Tesco here plus other smaller shops. Clean and pleasant place to visit.
m. z.
Swan shopping centre was carefully thought about in terms of social distancing measures like lines with 2 metres apart between each customer. However it wasn't largely enforced also at time a few not all shops were open.
E. R.
Easy to park, clean. Nice, but sparse, selection of shops. Biggest issue is trying to stop my kids nagging about wanting the over priced flavoured sweetcorn from the magic corn stall.
L. T.
My mom fell over last week as specsavers have metal railing outside as thier window was smashed weeks ago and still not had it replaced, my mom cant get in to the doctors and does not drive, she looks after my grandad as a full time and she cant even do that, she is black and blue all over, awaiting them to get back to us to find out what they will do about this as could of been a million times worst, thank god hopefully she will get better soon, please be careful when shopping thier as the railings are not painted bright colours, tapped off or signed, she tripped kn one of the big feet sticking out, hopefully this does not happen to anyone else just be careful please, other wise the shopping centre is great x
A. R.
Nice little mall to come and do your shopping. Free parking and there's are a few main stores which are very handy taking into account you don't have to visit the city centre and get to avoid all that commotion there.
D. J.
I do like the Swan shopping centre it's got most shops there you need that been 1.savers
2.specsavers
3.sportsdirect
4.ee
5.pep&co
6.greggs
7.card factory
8.subway
9. Big tesco
Etc.... OK for your essential needs
M. F.
has almost all essential stores her alongside convenient parking
C. F.
It's a decent little retail park, most visitors will come for the Tesco and stop by the other stores on offer "because they're in the area". However, prepare to be attacked by several charity stands all wanting you to sign up, be sure to take the entrance on the same side as The Blue Cross, or even around the back along the main road, in order to avoid being jumped on.
The place has improved a lot since first opening, with more stores now open, the Tesco is nice and big so it'll stock those more hard to find items you may require.
K. W.
Good parking. Plenty of shops and a big tesco. Most of the other visitors must all be in their way to the gym, they were all waring tracksuits. These were probably purchased from the reasonably priced but down market Sports Direct which is on site... Didn't see the gym though.
One can also have a hair cut right in the middle of the public thoroughfare, great if you want an ordience during your 'trim'. Same with eyebrow threading. Makes for great entertainment.
A. A.
As any Tesco, great product and pricing..
Better have your clubcard in hand or in app
R. A.
Great place to shop as you get most things under one roof.
Unfortunately I'm finding the prices are going up and up...
S.
I always go to the big tesco there as it has everything that I need to do a family shop and the price of items is reasonable.
The parking is free, there is also a Costa in there, Specsavers, pound shop, subway, gregs, phone shop, and other small shops.
I would say it's a family shopping centre, there is also an Explore Learning attached to it that provides extra education for kids, a pet shop and a gym.
M. G.
A very good variety of shops, everything you need Tesco Extra, Pet Shop, Charities, Poundland ,Coffee shops, 24 h Gym. A very big car park with Car wash service...Very nice and clean place easy access. Great overall place for shopping.
R. M.
Great little shopping centre, not many shops but it's OK for a quick visit. The main reason is the Tesco there, the other shops are just an added bonus. The place is kept very clean & doesn't get too busy.
A. T.
It has a Tesco ( the largest shop in there), peacock, sports direct, a pound land, savers, a Marie curie charity shop ( for 2 to 3 months goods in there have not changed much coz they seem highly over priced), a cafe, a subway, another charity shop outside, a carwash, and one or two other tiny stalls and shops. All in all, a handy place to go to. Huge parking space which is never full.
A. C.
Very handy for me, I don't really have to treck into town for anything as I can get pretty much everything I need here....shoes ... food ... clothing...gifts ..things for the house kitchen ect, and places to sit and eat and have a coffee ...it's perfect for me ☺️
m. f.
Tesco staff so lovely , decent shops nice and clean
K. J.
So much to offer, great store to get weekly shopping and I love the upstairs with all the tech stuff
A. S.
Good points
Well located.
Fuel station adjacent
Ample parking
Cash machine
Car wah
Negative points
Can get busy during peak times
Only 1 entrance and exit
Parent child parking gets used by everyone s it's not monitored likewise disabled parking
R. M.
somehow it didnt feel like a TESCO
f. m.
Not a great deal of shops here, the tesco is massive, a nice big pet store as well. Loads of parking, the amount of disabled parking is ridiculous though, there are absolutely loads of disabled spaces, in my opinion too many!!
A.
Its a safe place because as soon as some enters who are band the security leads them out. there are a variety of shops from food to electronics. there a vast tesco, average pound land, Greg's, subway, savers, clairs, sports direct, peacocks, ee,. there are a lot more shops then that and quite a lot on the outside.
M. J. M.
It's tesco, you should know what to expect. Lift access available to get to upper floor area. As well as your food shop you can peruse the dvd section, clothing and gaming section. No café in tesco but greggs and Costa and subway are opposite.
T. M.
Nice big Tesco, sports direct, peacocks, pep & co, card factory, greggs, poundworld, claires, savers & a few more. So nice selection of shops. Always kept well lit & lovely & clean. We were taking the children swimming & the hubby forgot his trunks. It was easier to grab a cheap £6 pair from peacocks than to go all the way home, so it served our needs :) only gave 4 stars as a few more shops maybe a home bargains & more clothes/shoe shops would be great & maybe a ball pool or something for the kids.
S. B.
Reasonable collection of shops and good variety of products stocked. The centre is clean and the staff are helpful. It would be nice to see more shops open though as some stores have never been opened.
Z. A.
Great place to shop and eat
E. C.
Just a shopping centre all good
A. M.
Very convince with parking and shopping
P. W.
Clean and tidy. Much better then the old Swan centre. Tesco, nice place to shop.
j.
My experience at the swan shopping centre in Birmingham was me and my parents went to sports direct the shop was huge and had almost everything. When we got there we were met with a vastly coloured array of items like footballs, shoes, jackets and general sports gear. The service here was fast. The waiting time in cues was around 2 mins but that could be improved to make this shop the perfect experience for me.
T. G.
Love this place, Been in Birmingham for years now, I would just love for the place to open some more shops.
J. W.
There's more to the Swan than people think. I took my mum there for her first time on Tuesday and she was impressed. I love going to Costa Coffee because the staff there are so kind and helpful and obliging to large groups having a catch up. Why not try the Swan shopping centre!👍
C.
Great place. It has a good selection of shops that suits all budgets.
B. S.
We go there for Tesco shopping and it has few other stores within parking is spacious and handy place to shop for groceries and other stuff like shoes and clothes. Will recommend to go there for shopping.
F. C.
Clean and a pleasant place to shop
O. A.
After the development of this site around 2013 and the new road layout it had evolved a lot... The centre of this shopping centre is a large tesco extra... There are other outlets here too mainly being Holland and Barretts, card factory, EE, poundland, sports direct and Claire's...
There is a large parking area and a large Tesco extra there... That's the main highlight of this shopping centre but there are other smaller retailers here too...
The Tesco should be reviewed separately but the main point to note is that this one has a lot of Asian items and also got the clothing and electronic items too... There is also Halal meat counter here...
There are some other good retailers to buy shoes, clothing accessories, cards and gifts...
Being in an Asian area and some surrounding being rough the parking can be difficult and can be done rough people here although not so much of an issue until you try to find a parking or go on the shops and note that the clothes have been thrown around and on the floor...
J. M.
A comprehensive shopping and service center .You can drink coffee or eat something while shopping.
A. M.
It's basically a large Tesco with a Poundland, Greggs, Sports Direct, etc. Very large carpark and very easy to get to. With a petrol station too. So, if you want any of those things, you'll be in luck here.
M. M.
Tesco is OK. Can't say that I'm a fan of the other shops (Claire's, Gregg's and discount store) but that's personal choice. Tesco is over two floors with a reasonable choice of clothing and a good selection of wines and spirits
W. D.
First time visiting with girlfriend. Clean good selection of shops and large car park.
M. M.
Much madness seems to be going on in the ample carpark and beyond most of the centre appearing to be closed due to covid it seems modern and well cared for
L. K.
Tesco was great ,lots of security , which makes you feel safe. Nice clean enviroment
P. D.
We like The Swan shopping centre, a place to recharge batteries i e. Food / drinks and just benches to rest and a fair selection of shops. We go because of using Tesco but always visit other shops and centre stalls.
S.
I think this place is extremely convenient, especially the number of stores etc.recebtly very impressed by their one way system, however the queues at time do look daunting at times.
S. H.
Well equipped with Tescos, pound shop, Pets at Home Costa etc. Well located with lots of parking. It's a bit of a faff getting on and off the Coventry Road. There's nothing specifically wrong with the place but there is something quite depressing about it.
C. C.
A lot better than it was, but it misses the old Market space cluttering the open atrium area with small stalls, may be open a store that the market traders can work within, as there is still a need for them. TESCO needs better opening times!!!
A. K.
The Swan Shopping Centre has a great Tesco's and a nice selection of other shops.
The centre is usually clean and has decent facilities.
They need to monitor the Disable and Parent and Child parking bays as these always seem to be occupied by inappropriate users.
P. H.
A fine shopping centre, with a mahousive Tesco, Costa, public loos and a big free car park where both our kids started to learn to drive. When I broke my leg they had free electric buggies to tour the aisles.
It's just a pity it swallowed half the park to build it.
m. r.
Great variety of shops. The main shopping is a massive tesco. There is a subway, poundland, savers, sport direct and a few others. There is free parking and on the other side of the road tesco have a large cheap petrol station
S. M.
Nice place for groceries including butchery
T. F.
It's got a lot of shops with a wide range of things to buy. The centre is good but be aware they normally close about 15 minutes before closing so you can't go last-minute
S. P.
Easy to get to and good parking. Polite and friendly staff throughout the complex. If you have any issues they will do their upmost to fix this.
W. P.
What can I say there's a tesco, savers, sports direct, pound land, pet shop, gym, bookies and much more to enjoy. Staff are very friendly in all stores and there are plenty of places to eat and drink (Costa, subway, greggs)
A. B.
Haven't been in here since school days. It's great what they have done to the place. Range of shops, clean n accessible
S. S.
Good For grocery and household items shop as Tesco, savers and Poundland are all within close proximity. Free parking too, Costa coffee is always a bonus 👍🏼
K. F.
Nice little shops and easy parking
J. C.
Good selection of day to day shops. Lots of parking and very convenient for travel in bus.
Tesco have a good selection of Asian, Chinese and Japanese food ingredients.
F. M.
Plenty of parking, nice clean and spacious centre, a good variety of shops with a two storey Tesco dominating the most space. Gym nearby and a few good places to eat
S. d.
Nice place for shopping with lots of places to eat and a good environment
A. R.
Used to love shopping here. Not much has changed still great variety of shops inside, plenty of parking and customer toilets available.
S. S.
Love it, its so busy, but nearly everything you need is here
T. N.
Good place to do groceries and have a snack outside. Many shops available. Some foreign shop too within walking distance from centre.
S. M.
The Swan Shopping centre is very good for all round shopping experience with a fair selection of shops. However, there are a number of unoccupied units which if let would improve the experience. For myself I would like to see a haberdashery, a post office and post box, a shoe shop.
A. D. V.
The old Swan Centre, which was a bit of an eyesore has been replaced in recent years with a multi-store shopping complex.. Tesco Extra (24 hours), bargain stores, sports direct, specsavers, marie curie, poundland, Greggs, clothing stores etc etc.
Loads of parking, good accessibility. The Tesco petrol station opposite the site is sizeable and accessible.
C. T.
Overall, a good place for shopping with a Costa, Tesco, clothing shops and budget shops like poundland. But lately it has been very crowded.
S. H.
Overall great place but the subway inside the place really needs to get it's act together it's almost always filthy which doesn't look good for where it is. Otherwise every other store is great and lots of free parking available
L. C. w.
Nice shop, to do your groceries shopping in Tesco or you can go and skip clothes in the navy clothing shoes
Stores there, this place is also a great place to go to with family and friends, that gets it five stars but I would put 4 stars because of the never ending stacks of trash and rubbish in replies and the floor, but still 5 stars because they try to clean it up
But they fail
D. F.
Great variety of shops tesco chemist poundland hot food outlets etc etc plenty of free parking and car wash while you shop cash points and wheel chair access.
M. G.
Useful shopping with health shop, opticians, phone shop, pet store, card shop, budget shops, sports and clothes shops.Tesco opened until 5pm on a Sunday very handy. Needs more retailers to make it as a better shopping centre though.
S. S.
I do like this area but,I sometime feel floor shaking for some unknown reason?and it,s not just me because a few people in there have wondered why, especially in the middle part when sitting on benches honest ,but apart from that there's a good selection of shops but they are missing a pet shop now
J. W.
Very good queing system in place, the staff are very good and helpful. Clean, tidy and plenty of parking great range of stock at good competitive price keep up the good work tesco
S. R.
Good shop
N. A.
Got all the neccessties. Can't complain about a thing in the shopping area. Massive parking, however, there are way to many people parking in parent child babies, with no babies. Think security need to be vigilant about this.
T. J.
Big free carpark, good variety of shops, free cash machines, late night Tescos. What a transformation from the old swan centre if any one remembers that old multi story car park with market hall.
J. J.
Don't use the toilets here unless you are desperate. They are broken and never fixed. Only the cleaners keep them bearable with regular cleaning. The company responsible for the maintenance are a disgrace.
R. S.
Good shops, only the closed exit at Tesco are annoying. You need to walk along metal gates to get to exit. And... 24/7 Tesco? So why it's getting closed at Sunday afternoon till Monday morning? Where is that 24/7!?
N. G.
This centre is perfect to get any kind of essential and emergency one.🥰🥰🥰🥰. And it's near to my house as well.
M. M.
Busy shopping you can get most things all under one roof 🤠
A. P.
This is a very good place to shop, there are several well-known such as Holland & Barrett, Sports direct. There are a few eating places, such as Costa & Greg's plus a Tesco.
D. S.
Solidarity with the souls haunting this place. We are beautiful ghosts anchored to monstrous bodies. What sorry harbours we have sailed into. The tides sigh out. The sand is black.
Z. M.
Small retail park with a few shops and large parking
M. A. E.
Always a nice shopping centre & I always find my essentials I need.
R. T.
Decent shopping centre for price and choice .Good service
M. M.
Good shopping centre. Only downside is some of the units are empty. Should open up a Home Bargains store here. Could do with a toy and shoe store.
G. G.
Great Shopping Centre, has places to eat, giant Tesco, pound land, Gregg's etc. Nice place. Seating in the walkway. Pretty much anything you need food, clothes, bargains etc. And pet store.
M. f.
Plenty of places to shop also came here before the new center was built and did enjoy coming here as a kid as they had a cash generators n plenty of game shops etc now the shops there are a big tesco pets shops pound shop coffee shops I think timpsons n jewellery
C. S.
Tescos at the swan shopping centre is a great place to shop not only for food but they have a department upstairs with fabulous clothing and a variety of household items.I shop here weekly as the store is clean and the food is of reasonable prices no need to shop anywhere else as this store has it all.
d.
Loads of free parking. Large Tesco with a few other shops , Poundland peacocks greggs costa savers Specsavers ee holland and Barrett etc. Easy to get to with good access.
L. B.
Nice costa in their shops were shut due to the pandemic but supermarket was ok greggs was like greggs everywhere else but all staff are nice and friendly
S. N.
Variety of shops, large car park, fast service from all shops. Would definitely recommend.
A. H.
This store stocks a much wider range of foods that we are eating at the moment ( due to dieting) than our local store. We shall return.
J. O.
Nice variety of shops
A.
The sweetcorn I had from one of the stalls there. They were amazing! Would go back just for the sweet corn. Mexican hot flavour.
a. h.
Good variety of shops, tesco superstore, clothing stores, bargain stores and smaller independent stalls selling various things. Free car park with plenty of space.
A. S.
Great shopping place.
M. J.
I'm not local but went for something from Tesco and I was surprised how nice it was and have been back a few times since. Everyone seemed really nice.
b. h.
Clean shopping area with good toilet facilities. Costa coffee, Greg's and a large Tesco, plus a Poundland and a few other shops and plenty of free parking.
S.
Great for quick shop
D. C.
A smallish shopping centre based next to a large 24 hour Tesco supermarket. There's a Claires, a couple of shoe shops, A couple of clothes shops, Handbags, Poundland , Greggs, and a coffee shop. [Either Costa or Starbucks - can't remember which!] There are public toilets available. The Tesco has a good range of Halal foods, and also sell a good range of clothing.
S.
The Tesco is well equipped. There are plenty of small shops such as Card Factory, Costa, Gregg's, Poundland and Subway.
F. B.
Excellent space for parking, even on a busy weekend. Great shops to look around.
B. M.
Bit rough and ready but it's ok, the toilets are clean
M. H.
Lots going on (Google for full stores listing) for your daily shopping needs and a coffee/sandwich to keep you charged. Good car wash on site too.

It is a excellent place to shop got most shops in one shopping centre with good quality stalls would highly recommend anyone going there to do shopping it's got most things in one shopping centre.
H. S.
Good place to shop, watch out for parking as only allowed to park for a limited amount of time. No opportunity to browse through all the shops!
P. J.
Large shopping complex. Spacious so can keep 2 metres apart
M.
Good selection of stores from Gregg's to tescos. Easy to get to with the 11 bus dropping you right outside as well as the x1 bus.
R.
Large Tesco, SportsDirect, Costa, poundland, Greg's, Claires Accessories, Peacocks, and a sweetcorn stand!
Easy to get to, loads of parking, great for locals
M. P.
I like how simple, yet full of different shops it has.
M. A.
Its really good , lots of different shops in it and you can get whatever you want to , food, clothes, shoes everything.
S. S.
Went with parents for their ppointment at Specsaver The optician Jaz gave full satisfaction to my parents. Very happy with the services.

R. P.
As usual good service.
N. R.
My all favourite shop's here love it
O. C.
Clean shopping centre with great selection of stores the layout is a little confusing for first time shoppers but other wise great centre wouldn't recommend children to go because there aren't many child friendly store there
n. h.
Nicely development establishment. A few decent shops in there however it has to be the worst Tesco for customer service. I always find the staff unhelpful and most of them rarely crack a smile.
A. K.
Well spaced out, massive Tesco's, massive car park and amazing variety of shops
C. L.
Clean & tidy shopping centre. Plenty of parking.
A. X.
Lots of shop and not ro buzy just how I like it
F. K.
Amples of parking. Big Tesco extra superstore with other smaller units like pound land, savers, costa coffee, subway, greggs, card factory, sports direct and others.
A. M.
Could do with home bargains or wilko. Great costa coffee though.
A. D.
Nice clean complex, not a wide range of shops but enough for what we would need on a daily basis.
J. W.
Plenty of shops clean and tidy
S. R. (.
Great place with all in one and also a nice view of the church from level 1. Has a cinema and other fast food restaurants including shops.
M. N.
A great small local shopping centre for the community with a super store Tesco driving all the traffic to the centre.
1. x.
Everything in one place! Clothes, groceries, coffee, snacks, bits and bobs - whatever you need, its probably there.
