Reviews of Craigleith Retail Park
j.
Craigleith Retail Park in Edinburgh is a great place to shop. The stores are well-organized and offer a wide selection of products at competitive prices. The parking is convenient and there is easy access to public transportation. Overall, Craigleith Retail Park is ok shopping destination in Edinburgh. It is a pity that it is not all under one roof, due to the weather.
C. F.
Everything you could need for a quick pop into the shops. Great shops right next to great places to eat. Ticks all the boxes for me. Easy to get to easy to find all the things you want and easy to get out of. What more could you ask for?
T. M.
Really good retail park with a good selection of businesses, ample parking and good layout. Can easily spend a few hours popping in and out of the shops and there is the KFC and M&S Cafe for sit in places to eat or get a drink if you're a bit fatigued.
C. Y.
There is more and more choices of shops available at Craigleith Retail Park. Plenty of parking available, which is free for up to 2 hrs. There is a lack of food places to choose from since there is only KFC, Costa, Starbucks and then M&S and Sainsbury's cafe. You can get petrol here too with Sainsbury's.
R. H.
I like the range of shops here and the parking time. I had to go to Currys and they had a really fantastic range of stock and also some super helpful staff and managed to help a friend get her computer and I think we were all very happy with the transaction 👍 …
P. G.
A very large retail area, they have many, many shops far to many to list, but it includes Sainsbury's, Argos, Costa, Mothercare, KFC, McDonald's, Homebase, Next, pets at home and much more
F. V.
Good place for shopping and quick bite. This facility has a Sainsbury's store and has outlets of various chains of restaurants like KFC, starbucks etc. You can also buy electronics items from shops like Currys. This place has very good connectivity through lothian buses. This facility also had a big car parking which makes it suitable for family shopping. Also if you are looking for part time jobs, this place gives you many options to try out. Defenitly a must visit place if you are living in Edinburgh for a long time. Great for weekends too.
H. X.
Great little retail park, lots of main shops and a wide variety.
Perfect for shopping for everything in the one place - great bus route to the main roads and city centre.
S. D.
Reasonable selection of shops, including one of the last remaining Homebases in Edinburgh.
Good car parking although watch out for busy times around the KFC drivethru.
C.
Like the Nike Factory Outlet, M&S and LIDL. Super value
J. B.
Convenient and easy to park. Lots of shops to choose from and nice to get everything in one place
A. R.
Great variety of shops just a pity about all the holes on the roads. Too many potholes 😠 …
S. H.
Really good selection of retail outlets, big car park.
D. B.
The shopping centre is good It has everything you may need but I am 71yrs and could not find a public seat to rest while I waited for my Friend
S.
Good shop selection, great car parking and fuel outlet
Cycle parking rubbish and cycle facilities non existent even access routes are poor
A. A.
Very busy place but great place with lots of different shops.
S. S.
Love this Retail Park. Feel like a kid at Christmas. Always Great Parking and a wide range of shops.
C. M.
So many different shops to visit plenty of free parking which adds to the hassle free shopping experience
K. R.
Nice small retail park with good variety of shops including clarks shoe shop, Currys, marks & spencer, trespass, Homebase, boots, a very large Sainsburys, tkmax, Costa. Plenty free parking space. There is also petrol station as well. Pure gym also opened recently. If you are into fitness, 24 hour access is available to the gym. Lidl opened up recently which is a good addition for cheaper groceries shopping
S. W.
Good selection of businesses here, normally able to find a space too
F. C.
Always get good clothes and food here and love relaxing over a coffee too.
J. S.
Tkmax+nike+lidl win. If there was a B&Q instead of a Home base would be perfect
J. R.
Pleanty of parking available good selection of stores and an enormous Sainsbury's
S. L.
Not been here in at least 12 years. The retail has improved considerably with a good range of stores, coffee shops, supermarkets and soon, a 24/7 gym. Well worth a visit. Parking is limited so best to try and go early at weekends or take public transport and walk the short distance.
F. B.
Good place to have a look round tho m&s have the best butter pastries
e. l.
A basic assortment of shops with adequate parking.
L. d. F.
The Home Store - Visited recently for Christmas lights. Understandably the stock was very low but the young man who served us very kindly removed the ones he had from display. I have shopped here since the store opened and can honestly say that the staff are the most helpful and cheeriest folk I have ever came across. I worked for John Lewis for many years and can only say that we were renowned for our customer service. However, I can definitely confirm that service from the staff at The Home Store tops that of John Lewis. Well done
L. L.
Love the variety of shops here from Argos to m and a
C.
Nice place got lots of things in this area :)
D. M.
Great retail park that had all the best shops you would want
J. M.
Excellent shopping park, not to busy, easy to find
T. B.
The choice of shops is grand but nothing special.
Ample parking but never enough as a-holes of Edinburgh park over two spaces and no one give way to anyone on the little russian-roulette roundabout.
Constant litter from KFC blowing around the place and often a traffic jam from the mental delivery drivers that now seem to be taking the place of actual customers.
Road surfaces seem to constantly be in poor repair.
A. L.
Good selection, will defo travel back
M. W.
If you looking for shopping in this place remember to check hours - some shops are closing earlier than others.
Overall many shops to choose, you can easy get most of thing you want. There also is a big and spacious parking, split in two - one part is for Sainsbury’s and second for others shops.
If you looking for eat something there is only kfc and Starbucks.
p. l. p.
Nice place very much selection and good prices
H. T.
Nice big store , very spacious and open , good groceries department. Also does bra fitting , the bra quality is always on point, their bra's last years.
A. M.
Average retail park, m&s cafe to avoid. Starbucks and Costa are yes, always good. KFC to avoid, quality going down horrible.
Useless staff in Tk maxx. Even worse in Sainsbury.
Great Nike store. And Lidl.
Average selection in Homebase. Same in Currys. Always busy Pets at Home store.
R. W.
There are toilets in Sainsbury's, and Costa and Starbucks if you buy something. It's clean, plenty of parking, and ramp accessible. In my opinion, it needs a toy shop or something else for the kids, or they just whine looking at only clothes and homewares!
C. F.
Easy to park and good selection of shops
P. M.
Like any other retail park good
W. W.
Plenty of places to visit - especially Cafe at M&S
B. G.
There's a good range of shops e.g Homemade, M&S, Pets at Home, Boots, Trespass, Sainsbury. There's plenty of parking although the access road around the perimeter of the car park at the multi store area was a bit narrow. The Sainsbury supermarket has its own location just adjacent to the access road.
P. J.
It's alright, doesn't have that much, could do with better selection of retail.
B. Z.
Used to have a better selection of shops but hard to think of a reason to go there deliberately, I guess the Homebase has its reasons and the Sainsburys can be useful but who leaves the house to deliberately visit Boots M&S Superdrug or Card Factory? I mainly end up here on my way to Morrisons which has a better range and prices for what I need.
P. T.
Great wee place to shop and a lot of friendly helpful staff too
D. T.
It's OK but very awkward approach for anyone cycling to the shops using the otherwise excellent Edinburgh bike paths network. Too car centric.
E. B.
Great shopping area plenty of parking spaces
A. F.
Great place to shop IF……you can get into retail park, road works make it almost impossible, they have my sympathy
B. M.
Good for parking. A few vacant shops which need occupied for a better range. Good selection of shops available.
K. P.
All times favourite shopping experience
L. G.
A good few shops to choose from good parking good selection.
R. K. M.
This place has many stores including Nike outlet, Saintsbury, Curry's. You can get bus 38 from gorgie and/43 from Princess Street to reach this place. KFC and starbucks available to grab a bite
N. D.
Lidl, sainsbury, Nike, M&S, TKMAXX and many more. Best shopping area.
S. G.
Great choice of shops with plenty of parking spots. We have cats so it's really handy to nip into Pets at Home after shopping to pick up their supplies - including heavy bags of litter - and not have to walk far to the car.
R. K.
Very busy place, specially if you visit on Saturday afternoon, but yes it is wort it. You actually can do all shopping in one place.
And one more point, there is very freshly opened Lidl.
G. F.
There is no direct bus service to leith via ferry road. You can get the 21 and walk 15 mins down a busy baron road. The taxi rank is also diserted at all times.
C. P.
Nice, Great, ample parking, supermarkets, pet stores, pharmacy, kfc in case you get hungry, I like this area
I. E.
Good selection of shops. Ample car park. Petrol pump helps as well. You may want to bring an umbrella during rainy days for nipping one shop to another on other side.
M. M.
Not too many shops but visit it every week end. Nice place to get a coffee and meet friends.
M. M.
Bus service terrible took ne 50 minutes from Stockbridge M & S always goodfir shopping
M. S.
Good for shopping, many shops in the same place so you don't have to go to different places
C. R.
Blocked off parking spaces. Poor show
R. b.
It's a good place to go and have a look&👁️ …
A. A.
Good bunch of shops much easier than going into the centre of town
R. C.
Great shopping complex offering one stop convenience through the multiple retail shops available. Plenty parking space.
C. C.
Handy retail park, but would be better if there was a toy shop aswell, pets@home, sainsbury's, argos etc are good. The park is clean and tidy with plenty of parking.
H. G.
Okay shops - a Sainsbury’s, a Starbucks, a card shop, a Home Stores & More, a Superdrug, a Pets at Home, a Boots, a TK Max, a Homebase, a Nike, a M&S, a Costa and a Currys - good enough for a weekly shop but nothing special
W. O.
Went there to have a look. They had a reduced sale on . I picked up trousers with an £18 price tag on them but was pleasantly surprised when I got them for £3.99... bargain
S. C.
Craigleith retail park (or the quarry) has a variation of stores for a small shopping day out. There is not a huge amount but it covers enough areas. Main downside is no good clothing stores.
Shops include, Sainsbury's, M&S, Starbucks and Costa, boots, superdrug, card factory, pets at home, home station, TK max, homebase, Nike, Trespass and PC world.
L. J.
Very small, about 8 inside.. Lovely views from beer garden. Drinks selection limited but worth a visit if in area.
R.
It's a retail park - not much else to add. There is a very good Lidl though and a rather grumpy Pets at Home store.
o. b.
Lovely staff in Curry's very helpful compared to Curry's at the fort. Great choice of stores too, the only thing I'd say is its tricky to find how to get into the retail park, they could do with a roundabout at that busy crossing
M. S.
Good selection of shops with disabled parking outside each store. Makes life a lot easier for someone like me with limited mobility.
D. H.
This is a well-appointed and pleasant retail park located just slightly north west of the city centre. Access by bus can be difficult, the 38 and 24 are infrequent, usually single deckers and at the weekend the 38 does not enter the site. Parking is usually plentiful except at peak times. There are lots of nice shops here and a number of the retail units are being renovated to improve future offerings. Its a good "all-in-one" sort of place as there are many different shops.
C. B.
Good range of shops. Unfortunately buses do not go in at weekend so if you have no car it is a bit of a trek if you have heavy shopping.
N. M.
Lots of shopping options from home goods, furniture, outdoors items, clothes, shoes, food, petrol and general accessories. Always a car parking space available. Even has a Starbucks so if you just want to chill out it is an option. A drive through KFC is also there if you need quick food.
F. C.
Everything you need and at decent prices.
D. T.
Comprehensive retail park with lots of parking
J. D.
Nice wee find and a Homebase with garden centre. M&S, Nike outlet, TKMaxx and Sainsburys along with a handful of other shops. The residential road leading to the retail park has residents and staff parking on it, narrowing it down. The retail park is well utilised.
M. I.
Great retail park with a variety of stores. Good food and coffee options with both a Costa and Starbucks. Home, clothing, electronics options.
Overall a great retail park not too far from Central Edinburgh with easy parking.
G. K.
We often come to here either for Sainsbury's big store selection or Home Base. It has just about everything you might need in the area, so a good combination. ... Plus a cheeky KFC on the way out... But can't have too many of those in January.
R. C.
Super handy retail park!
Easy to get to and a great selection of stores.
I frequent Homebase here, it's always easy to park nearby and get in and out of the retail park.
There's also other great chains like Currys, M&S, Sainsburys, Costa, Starbucks etc.
Great place!
S. C.
Sainsburys during pandemic... prior to masks being mandatory.. not all staff wearing masks and very few customers. Had to stand in a queue in the rain, so be prepared. Also be prepared that the numbers are limited inside, but that doesn't mean everybody observes social distancing (there was a reminder after every few songs), a lot of people ignoring this. Well stocked shelves. Check outs were well organised and plastic between cashier and customer. Did not see any wipes for using card machine or hand gel for after. Didn't see any hand gel coming in or out so remember your own. Also never spied any wipes or spray for handles of baskets or trolleys. Again, good idea to bring your own mask, hand gel and wipes...oh and umbrella if its raining depending on how long the queue is.
I.
Busy with cars but the car park has many bad pot holes and needs resurfacing. Some shop units empty but decent range of outlets overall.
J. B.
I'm not sure I love it, but with Sainsbury's, Boots, coffee shops (I wish there were independents but its the usual Starbucks and Costa Coffee shops), TK Maxx, Homemade, M&S, Nike etc.... you pretty much have all bases covered. There is also a KFC, and McDonald's is relatively nearby on Telford Road.
J. H.
Excellent shopping and always plenty of parking. Good variety of shops as well.
R. B.
I always love going here because of the range of shops and a Homebase. Was delighted to find they now have a Lidl. This is great, because I can buy food clearly marked with a saltire to show its Scottish provenance.
R. S.
Excellent choice of retailers - why not 5 star ? - the road network on the park is in dire need of attention - watch out for pot holes !
A. R.
It was difficult to watch my husband try parking. Spaces were ok but car park was busy, only went in to the Homebase to buy paint then headed back out again. Seemed like a big range of stores around about.
J. D.
Everything you need in one place, quite easy access.
P. S.
Not a lot of shops to choose from but there are a few good ones and there is also a sainsburys.
R. T.
Decent shopping area big sainsburys one of only 2 curry's left in Edinburgh along with the tk maxx boots marks lidl homebase
P. Y.
Not been in this Retail Park for a while got some Bargains in M&S and Sainsburys fory 2 year old nephew and a great bargain for me blouse down from 6 pound to 1.89 Boots is open Starbucks only selling from front of shop Garden Centre open look pretty busy
C. H.
Not too bad for a variety of shops.
J. D.
Great selection of retail shops on offer and easy parking
T. C.
It's a good shopping centre , not too big and good parking with a good selection of shops
J. G.
A nice choice of shops, easy parking and some handy eateries nearby.
A. B.
Very helpful staff. Can purchase what we require. Aisles are wide enough to get a wheelchair through plus another shopper/stocker without demolishing the shelves.
J. L.
Not bad central location, but doesn't hold up to the bigger ones. The shops that are open are decent ones, but several of the units are empty, often resulting in a fruitless trip. Has potential to improve, but better making the trip to Fort Kinnard for now.
L. L.
This is a fairly large retail park with probably most of the popular outlets such as Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer, Homebase, Boots, Starbucks and Costa etc. Plus many more. It's pretty much a one stop shopping experience which is great.
S. C.
Lots of shops but not enough
A. G.
Go there every week to the pet store and have a coffee at costa. Has everything I need including sainsbury if I need to do some basic shopping. Good sized carpark always has space.
h. d.
Shopping was fine but the carpark is dreadful pedestrians should use crossings motorist try reversing into a space them you can drive out not hit the bumpers of peoples cars cause you don't know which way to turn your steering
I. M.
Good selection of shops
A. M.
Lots of shops, good verity of shops lots of free parking
A. I.
Went on a quiet Sunday morning- lots of space indoors so felt really covid-safe. Good range of stock.
E. Y.
I got everything I needed in one place
J. M.
Good shopping experience. Difficult junction to traverse.
N. S.
Good selection of shops and we'll organised, mostly, for safe systems to shop and queue.
S. S.
Since a few shops had shut down. In its place is finally new shops. 1 is currys PC. Where new look used to be. Another good place with a variety of shops and cafes such has costa... And KFC there. The new argos is in sainsburys. Homebase and nike shop. Also Tkmax and home store. Very interesting shop to walk around. And , Mark's and Spencer , Trespass , and theres coffee shops. Still only KFC for fast food. Or walk to telford road for McDonald's. I would like to see more food options. Subway , Gregg's. Theres enough staff in and around these shops to start with let alone a whole variety of customers coming through. So why not more restaurants please. And the little park at side of garage , ppfft, do something better for the little kiddies. This park is tiny to say the least. No more than 2 or 3 toddlers can go about this tiny park. So , yeah its pointless tbh. More for kids to do would be great and such a better benefit to going to craigleith and then letting ur little one enjoy there freedom befor going home or before u eat hahaha
S. G.
Braw coffee and cakes....And a view which doesn't just overlook the car park.
D. S.
Good selection of stores and food supermarkets and restaurants. Plenty of room for browsing and good friendly service.
B. D.
I think there are better options around.
e. h.
This retail park is getting better but still some empty stores. Alot of space for parking grest variety of shops. Bus stop on the park itself with more options from bus stops up the road. A small play park on the edge of the retail park too. Needs more food places theres only KFC.
D. T.
Sadly a few shops have gone from here but still a decent choice - clothes, shoes, outdoor wear, garden centre, homeware, supermarket etc.
M. M.
Good range of shops, ample parking, plenty of choice for a cup of tea/snack/lunch during shopping trip & access to automated cash points... Recommend a visit
I. S.
Good retail park with decent range of stores. The Marks and Spencers has a very nice little coffee shop on the first floor. Good sized Sainsbury's. Parking can be tight at the weekends.
J. C.
Love the shops there everything you could need in retail parl
J. E.
Craigleith is convenient and easy to get to on foot, by car or bus but it gets extremely busy especially on weekends. If that affects you at all, I'd advise going thru the week, in the morning perhaps if you're able to. I wish there was more variety of stores there tho'.
I. F. P.
Went to Currys to exchange a Christmas gift, went smoothly (although other people were cross and fustrated at the system, which I believe to have been a 'scan the QR code on the door, have your item and/or referance number also card number that item paid for and car registration if you want item putting in car') I think people got cross if there phone battery was dieing as I don't think people were told this before going to the store, all customers had to wait outside to be seen, pleasant staff who was more than happy to help. I would say look up the guidelines before going to the Currys store.
P. W.
At pets at home, nice friendly staff.didnt think much of retail park as crammed in far to much traffic roads closed on exit
B. M. (. 2.
I like going to Craighleith Retail Park mainly for Homebase, Tkmaxx and Sainsbury's. There are also plenty of other stores I visit time to time, including M&S and the petrol station that offers free tyre pressure check.
A. B.
Small selection of big chain stores but small parking to drive around. When busy it is a drag...
A. d. Z.
With the larger retail stores generally getting pushed to the extremities of cities, it's quite handy to find a park like this so close to the city centre. There aren't any amazing shops but it has saved me making a much longer trip to the likes of Fort Kinnaird on several occasions.
S. R.
Love this place - covers most of my shopping needs in one trip, but still a manageable size to walk round. Bus service leaves much to be desired - infrequent during the week, and no service on a Sunday!
S. R.
I quite like shopping here, the Sainsburys is massive and the collection of other shops seem tidy and well kept, with there being a decent variety and plenty of parking - the entrances/exits are cluttered and are poorly designed to deal with the volume of traffic the park is capable of handling.
D. L.
Great place has it all, plenty parking
B. O.
Great parking good choice
M. M.
Plenty parking available when I visited. Carpark seems to have had a make over.
C. S.
There are a couple of more shops open .everyone has there own bargains . Went to sainsbury's for lunch it was good a bowl of hot soup and a roll under £3. Just what I needed
j. h.
Ok got shops what you need and can ger a coffee
R. C.
Great place pick up all your shopping has many stores in the choice from and coffee shops
J. C.
Easily accessible and good range of shops but the final cycle entrance is shared either way and hazardous to pedestrian and cyclist
D. D.
Good experience overall but the KFC leaves allot to be desired, sat waiting for 15 mins in drive thru for the staff to just keep looking at us. Definitely won't put a penny their way again.
J. R.
Does the job insofar as it has an M&S and a Sainos. Food options at Craigleith, though, are abysmal. If you aren't into KFC then you're really sort of on your own. Could do with bringing out of the '90s and into the 2020s in that regard.
N. F.
Queues to get into the carpark and Queues to get back out but good selection of outlets
r. m.
Its alright if you have a tonne of cash to blow to help prop up a broken economy
G.
Quite small retail park. Easy to get around. Has electronics, hardware, clothes and food. Well, KFC and McDonald's. And a Sainsbury's superstore
B. B.
Good selection of stores to shop and places to have a bite to eat.
C. H.
Good selection of well stocked shops, plenty of parking.
A. H.
Craigleith Retail Park has are variety shops and I find that you are able to get nearly all your shopping and things that you need from within it's boundaries and you should be able to find everything that you need.
There is sufficient parking spaces on both sides of the retail park, the Sainsbury's shopping centre side and the other half of the retail park that has boots KFC and McDonald's BM and Homebase and tkmax. You are able to get a coffee from Sainsbury's Marks and Spencer's Costa as well as McDonald's and KFC
Y. Y.
At great location but not to have various shops. Hope to open more shops at to be more & more satisfied for customers. To be highly recommended the Lothian bus company to make especial bus that destination from city centre of Edinburgh to this shopping area.
m. a.
Ok, good selection of shops but most closed due to lockdown. Surface of the car park is very poor, pot holes everywhere.
L. O.
Loved it. Went into Homebase for a look and saw my future kitchen table. Going to get it tomorrow. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this store to family members and friends.
M.
Useful range of superstores, traffic not too bad though parent and child parking spaces fill up quickly. Recycling area is not emptied often enough!
R. L.
Had a good Supermarket that we used a lot in our two week stay. Lots of other shops as well. Plenty of easy parking.
M. F.
Carry a small amount of most of the items found in larger branches. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parking
I. B.
Just as good as any other retail park, I wanted to go to the home store as the advert on TV made me want to go but nothing really different than other stores really
C. P.
Close to home. Ease of parking. No parking costs. Reasonable outlets. Some Bargain shops. Shopping made easy at one location.
G. R.
Visited Home based on this site on a November evening.
This is not a well laid out site. One road actually narrows to the width of a cycle lane opposite Sainsbury's entrance and then junctions with a zebra crossing.
Homebase entrance door was partially obscured by a fence panel on show outside and a display inside the door.
The lighting on site is poor to the extent that raised paving is difficult to see when driving.
The experience once inside the shop was fine but I won't rush back to the site.
C. O.
Only visited one store who advised they had what I wanted in stock yet arrived and then had to go to another branch to collect the console package they had on offer and stated only 30mins prior was instock. Needless to say I was not happy especialy after calling first. Due to bad advertising I should have got at cheap price but manager claimed because the picture is only a one s it distinguishes that the one x is not available for the offer they. Robbed is how I felt after visiting curry's a 1 star visit to them. I cant let that spoil my review of the retail park itself.
S. B.
Very large parking lot with many stores. The Nike store has good choices. The sainsburry here is really huge. The boot's pharmacy is also pretty large.
E. M.
Central Edinburgh location with plenty of parking. We visit here semi regularly to make use of the supermarket, Argos, Marks and Spencer, Mountain Warehouse, and Boots.
Accessible from north, south, east and west this site offers a lot of flexibility.
J. B.
This is a great place to visit a range of high street stores but close to Edinburgh city centre. The parking is free and gives you a chance to pick up those essentials without hassle.
A. H.
Never overly busy, we utilize this smaller retail park instead of fort kinnaird for things like pets at home, Homebase and M&S, parking is much easier than say Fort Kinnaird. Not all the big names you would expect so check before you go.
A. S.
Massive traffic jams trying to get out on a Saturday afternoon! To be avoided at weekends......
T. K.
Good place for long saturday shopping. You can find variety of services and stores. There is a huge car park where you always find a spot. Highly recommended.
U. S.
Good selection of shops including curry’s, Nike outlet and M&S food.
Parking is free here.
M. K.
Good selection of shops. Sainsburys, Argos, Currys, TK Maxx, Boots, Homebase and pretty good Nike outlet + others. Plenty of space for parking. May get a bit busy on the way out to Queensferry Rd
c. r.
Few good shops, but a bit run down
A. R.
Excellent parking even though most shops still closed the ones open are offering really good services
K. A.
Great shopping retail park if you want to get your groceries with a massive Sainsburys. There is also a large Boots, TK Maxx as well as a Nike Factory store (the staff here are toooooooo good at taking my money !!!). There are a few other shops, the usual £1 shops, a M&S with Frankie & Bennies being the only restaurant.
There is a massive free car park, a petrol station and two different bus routes serve the park.
L. P.
Great retail selection from home wear to clothing shops great day out
J. A.
Very decent amount of parking space. Beware the potholes around the roundabouts.
I. R.
Excellent! Lovely staff and a treat to be able to have Costa coffee. Can't wait until we can enjoy sitting in some of the cafes.
A. R.
Great retails Park with shops to suit everyone's needs.
C. S.
Just ok.
Getting in and out of the parking from both exitd is a bottle neck so avoid the mega busy times like weekends and seasonal times.
Don't think the exiting from the car parks has been properly thought through!
K. B.
Pretty good retail park. It has most of the big players. Good parking but there’s sometimes a queue to find a space due to tight lanes.
L. F.
Went to Currys to report that the freezer sitting in my living room would not, in any way, fit into my kitchen. Actually quite helpful - freezer being picked up on Thursday - BUT, no freezers available until May because Lunatic Panic Buyers have had to purchase New freezers to store all their 'panic bought goods!
K. H.
Really handy.
Decent retail park with reasonable parking.
Good sized Sainsbury's, decent sized homebase and useful shops like argos, a small m&s..etc
Opening times for many of the shops reasonable.
C. F.
Good variety of shops, to ensure you can get majority of things you'd require. Argos has moved inside of Sainsbury's, but the facility is there all the same. Also the click and collect option. There are fashion clothes shops, grocery shopping, takeaway food, a few of selections of where to grab a coffee, there's a Homebase for gardening and DIY etc and home type stores to buy house accessories and some furniture. A Boots store to get cosmetics.
There have been a few shops shut and opened. So if you've not been for a while check where you want to go still exists. There's a Currys PC world bow and there's no longer a Mothercare. Argos has relocated to inside Sainsbury's store. New look, Mark's and Spencer is still there and Sainsbury's. Also Costa and other's previously mentioned. Enjoy!
Only reason there's not 5 stars is purely for the fact that craigleith is terrible for pedestrians. It's completely designed for people with cars. The bus services are poor and irregular. There are more services on the queensferry rd. However, anyone unable to walk far or have difficult walking on an incline, are stuck to get just the few options of buses. Which only stop outside Sainsbury's. The whole other side of craigleith is only accessible via car, or walking over a zebra crossing that I think it placed in a dangerous position. It's not particularly easy to get from one side of craigleith retail park to the other ( which is pretty much just Sainsbury's and timpsons) if you have any physical disabilities. You must may attention at all times as due to the lack of pedestrian crossings it's just like cutting over a car park, where you've no idea which direction the cars are coming from.
There are far too many shops to be able to view them all in one day. Can't think of much you'd not be able to get from here, within the variety of shop's on site.
R. R.
Big retail park of the usual UK type. Bigger better stores than you would get in smaller cities, but I saw nothing different or distinct about it. Just off the Queensferry Road, now, handily, the route to the Queensferry Crossing. Who thought of that? Uncanny!
R.
Lots of shops to visit which all have a variety of items. Love going here as it's a short walk around each shop and there's also food places. Picture is from a lovely afternoon tea at Mark's and Spencer's in Craigleith.
S. F.
All shops are open and great staff there over all it is a good place to walk around and see different shops
A. G.
With Sainsburys, Marks & Spencers, Homebase, Boots, Currys and more. Definitely worth multiple visits.
Q. _.
Can be very busy on prime shopping days. Be prepared to queue if driving, both to get in and out, Christmas time especially.
G. C.
Nice wee retail park that is always busy. Loads of parking and nice range of shops. Good wee Costa here as well.
S. Y.
Shops, shops and more shops. Parking. Nike store. M&S. Only Homebase I can find in Edinburgh. TK Max. Sainsbury's. KFC. Can be a pain on busy weekends or holidays. Not an indoor mall more like a bunch of shops around a large car park. If you want to shop go there if you don't then avoid.
S. D.
A good mix of shops here and always plenty of parking available. Sainsbury’s and M and S are the supermarkets. But there is also Boots , Costa , Homebase , Argos and TKMaxx.
C. R.
Easy to get to & easy to park here. The only fault is that you need a pound coin for the trolleys in Sainsbury’s and I never have cash on me.
F. S.
Plenty goos retail shops but a nightmare to park as parking spaces are very small .and road markings need re-painting and the entrance and exit to the shopping centre from the main entrance can be frustrating and downright tricky and dangerous at busy times.
L. B.
Fairly busy but enough parking spaces and I was able to click and collect easily and quickly.
I. M.
A comprehensive range of major retailers and a favourite of mine - a Costa Coffee shop tucked away in the corner
R. S.
Good variety of shops looks like I'll be getting dragged back to this place again .
S. M.
Good local collection of shops. Very busy car parks! Beware of drivers in large vehicles not giving way.
G. C.
Plenty to shop Big carpark A bit tricky near the roundabout But definitely recommend
B. B.
No different to any other retail park I've been to. Obviously very busy this time of the year.
K. P.
Medium size shopping mall
N. M.
Wonderful: enjoyed the shops and the convinence of access by bus. Being a Sunday, the buses were sadly fewer, but we managed.
S. M.
Some good shops
M. T.
Sainsbury's. Sadly didn't find what we wanted. Went to Morrisons Granton instead where the choice was great
A. G.
A really handy retail park that has some great shops so worth visiting. They have a huge Sainsburys with every service imaginable too. They also have an Outfit which is Miss Selfridge, Top Shop and Dorothy Perkins all under one roof with some nice independent labels too. There is also a M&S, Mammas & Pappas and Argos to name a few. Worth using if you pass by or are in the area.
J. W.
Totally amazing. I went to tk maxx to get some socks, homebase for some roof paint, boots for razors and sainsburys for passport photos. Oh and i had a zinger tower burger meal at kfc.
M. M.
Ample parking and lots of different shops to find everything you might need
R. O.
...a short visit to buy flowers at M & S. Who ever planned this 'park's, must have been related to some intrepid explorer: One need a satnav to negotiate the carpark.😉😄 …
P. P.
Friendly staff and as usual best coffee in the town
D. L.
Dont get me wrong it's a good place to shop but working in one of these places is a bad idea I have almost had my brand new motorbike stolen and they snapped my steering lock I feel like there should be more security for places like this
J. M.
A wide range stores with good access. Decent parking and limited bus service. Plenty of places to get food and drink available.
W. C.
Not a lot of shop varieties. The car park is a nightmare to cross as there always seems to be irrate drivers there. The place isn't what it used to be. A very huge Sainsbury's is the only plus.
K. S.
Lots of shops Inc TKMaxx and now it has opened The Gym. It has coffee shops.
e. t. g. G.
Staff helpful and we had a young gentleman cashier who was a good laugh and patient! Store had all fresh products in too.
M. G.
Great walks to be had around here. Suited to all abilities. No toilet facilities but one maybe a 15 minute walk away dependant on opening times.
A. N.
Very nice cafe and the food hall is small but well stocked.
S. K.
Good shops, plenty parking place always spotless.
H. E.
🙏 …
I. M.
It's a retail park - what's to say, it does what it says on the tin.
Car parking is ok, but zero enforcement of disabled and parent/child parking in evidence, which results in frequent misuse.
Not really bike friendly, incorrectly erected 'cyclist dismount' signs on the bike path. No covered bike parking. Secure bike racks clearly an afterthought.
m. s.
Excellent options for shopping: Sainsbury's, Boots, TK MAX, Nike, Costa, Trespass, Curry's, Argos and some other shops but what this place is missing is a restaurant. Currently it has just a KFC.
r. d.
Great centre, some difficulty parking
R. M.
Has a good Sainsburys and a good Markies in a handy location.
L. L.
Lovely variety of shops in Shopping Centre
A. E.
In need of some new shops since the top shop and new look closed but has all the essentials. The large Sainsbury’s is especially good.
M. K.
Was in a few shops but was planning on having a look in Nike shop for trainers, they have an excellent sale on and end up buying two pairs and extremely happy with the customer service.
P. M.
Sainsbury's counters asking me for age proof every time I'm buying polish chocolate bars Pawełki with advocat.U can't get them after 10pm.why?
T. T.
Plenty of parking which is ideal.
C.
Quite good shopping options here. TK Maxx and Nike outlet are good for finding items to cover your body.
R. M.
Mix of shops, and useful as it's so close to the town centre but plenty of parking. Usually use Sainsbury's and Homebase, but often sent for missions at Boots and Argos.
M. C.
One of the better retail park's good selection of shops and plenty of parking
E. B.
A good variety of shops and easy parking
J. W.
This place is very handy to have on the doorstep. Only drawback is that the car park can be pretty rammed at times. Range of shops etc are good.
K. M.
This place has got lots of shops sainsbury M and s, Nike, toys r us, very accessible by cycle for me from Murrayfield 10 min ride.
A. G.
Went to argos within sainsburys. Picked up what I ordered and done my shopping for Christmas dinner at same time. Parked OK and wasn't to busy on leaving.
P. M.
Not a lot of mother and baby parking not enough room to open doors of car if you had a child /babies some off the carpark could with tarmacked.
J.
Good variety of shops, stores and eating places. Wasn't keen on the huge car park and distance between shops. Has fuel station.
J. W.
Love this store , buy all my no 7 makeup
here and never disappointed. Staff are very helpful.
H. F.
Has a good few shops and supermarket and Costa coffee worth a visit and plenty of free parking and local buses stop in retail park easy to get to
L. P.
Brilliant shopping park with loads of space to park and loads of shops including a supermarket! Better shops opening all the time. Great place and well needed!
G. W. M.
It's a retail park could be a lot better been in worse
G. L.
A good shopping experience indeed. However the roads in the car park are a disappointing failure with lots of potholes.
m. k.
Great place to shop got every shop you need M&S, Sainsburys, Boots, Curry's TKMAXx ,Nike, Homebase Costa and lots more !
T. M. A.
What a little find whilst on our way back home to England we visited during the summer holidays. A good selection of shops and businesses all the staff were very helpful.
A. B.
Great gathering of essential shops in one place - from groceries to clothing / gadgets / eateries / stationary / tools & Homecare. No need to go elsewhere
P. H.
There's a Sainsburys and a PC World and a bunch of places that I never go. Handy for the bus route.
G. D.
really busy even with guidelines in place but its a good park to shop at. i will probably go back after this is all over
A. W.
Shops are good, but parking is a bit stressful and lots of snobby entitled folk acting like nobody else exists.
N. N.
It was very nice to find so many shops and nice people, I have been away from the area over 20 yrs and will be back soon
J. C.
A shadow of its former self with numerous units closed giving it an abandoned look. The only place worth visiting is the Sainsburys and only if you haven't got an Aldi or Lidl nearer to you.
J. G. (.
Decent enough shops and plenty parking feel like there should be more here though
S. M. B. B. B. M. D. F. F. (. T.
Very mixed selection here. Sainsburys - nice staff but not a great store, Starbucks: nice!, Currys / PC world -excellent, Costa: Poor, Homebase: depressing, TKMAX: OK, KFC: greasy chicken in a bucket obviously, Homesense: excellent, Superdrug: good, Boots: OK (nice big store), Argos (in sainsburys): poor, Pets@Home: excellent, Nike: mixed
B. M.
Lots of shops to cover most shopping trips from food to shoes to gardening stuff etc. Loads of parking, easily accessible.
M. N. M. N.
It is getting busy with Christmas 🌲⛄ around the corner. Great place to visit. I like TKmaxx. …

M. G. G.
1st time using this retail park - has a ok collection of stores - the retail area is well kept with adequate parking.
P. L.
Couple of different stores and wee change of venue ample parking for disabled and anyone else cant say more.
R. P.
craigleith park edinburgh is wonderful place for shopping and be around
S. W.
Pavements at the roundabout are too narrow. Don't like having to give way to people
C. B.
A good selection of quality shops for a small retail park.
G. S.
Not bad place at all, many shops and plenty of parking. Bigger than you first realise.
G. H.
Too many empty shops, and of the ones open they are all typical retail park _ pets at home, home base, dixons, Starbucks too name a few. All a bit dull.
H. J.
Loved it first time off me going there can't wait to go back.
N. B. M.
Had good selection of shops and eateries.
M. Y.
Good range of stores, ample free parking, and three eateries make Craigleith a great place to do your shopping.
J. B.
I thought Craigleith was a really nice retail park shopping centre. I liked the atmosphere as it was very friendly with lots of nice shops.
L. M.
Great parking and bus service. Lots of shops and Sainsburys supermarket. Several coffee shops and an M&S restaurant
O. V.
Great retail park with variety of stores and good parking. Used to be better but a few stores have closed down.
M.
Great place for a couple hours shopping. Not to big not to small.

A. 8.
Plenty of car spaces, your whole shopping in one place
R. A.
Variety of shops great place for lunch and a coffee
B. H.
A Good shopping center with grocery stores ,Food chains and a gym.
M. L.
Nice place close to where we live to do a bit of shopping. What I'd like more is to have more options to eat, as not bit fan of KFC.
P. H.
Reasonably successful retail park; only downside is the road access/egress; which can be terribly congested.
C. B.
They keep changing the shops...some of it is empty...it just feels unfriendly...
D. W.
Good variety of shops. Good customer care both in M-S and PC World.
G. M.
Good range of shops & convenient location,q busy car park.
S. S.
Pretty average retail park really. It can get really busy on a weekend and bank holidays, I once got stuck in almost gridlock conditions on one occasion in the rain!
A. H.
I like shopping there
M.
Went to buy a manual water pressure. Not many tills/staff as there used to be. Glad it wasn't overly busy
T. B.
Convenient to me since I work near it the same setup as most Retail parks.
E. W.

C. C.
Great place for the bits you need, at the moment it is a little crowded from 12pm onwards so try getting there early to avoid big groups and crowds.

w. c.
Visited Home Store & more , lovely shop .
K. A.
Does what is required of a retail park. Go if you need something but I would not go for the shopping experience as you will just get bored. Go running or to the cinema instead
P. M.
With Homebase, Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury and Curry's , this is a very useful retail park to visit
F.
Good and accurate service. I've used this garage for years and find that they are fair. They will try to save a tyre
A. F.
Good place for quick grocery shopping or more with the variety of shops, on plus side there is also a Starbucks.

D. D.
Closed cycle path a couple of years ago and said that they would look to make an improved cycle path but never bothered.
M. R.
It's always okay for shopping here. It can get very busy and the parking lot is crazy. Always watch your car as people forget how to drive once they enter this car park.
