Reviews of Drylaw Shopping centre
D. W.
I was nervous as not from this area but I was pleasantly surprised how all shops and staff were friendly and helpful. It is a community trying to survive. I respect this massively and with the local pub , off license, bakers, chemist, general store and two postal services ie: Hermes ( Top Cellar) and post office. This is a ideal place for convenience and a bargain.

Bit run down,, in the middle of yet another makeover,, (it needs it) good variety of shops.
L. C. (.
I live local to this so it's really convenient at times but parking is a pain at times.
K. B.
It's a good mini shopping centre with everything you could need from your local area. It has cafés, barbers, grocers, a pharmacy, a tailor's and tonnes of takeaway options.
The only thing is it's sort of hard to feel secure and safe even with a police station right next door.
It's perfect for your daily, weekly and monthly essentials but is in dire need of a revamp.
B. H.
A good shopping centre with grocery stores, saloon, fast food chains, and a post office as well,
C. O.
Despite its unpleasant appearance on the outside. It has a good selection of shops needed for resedntial shopping needs - it has takeaway's, supermarkets, pharmacy, bakery, licenced groceries and more. Very accessible to all and has a large carpark and bus links. All the staff I've met in each shop are great!
R. L.
Wonderful delightful shopping centre, top class. As you enter or leave or even pass farmfoods freezer shop a quaint Romanian crone sat on her arse outside cheerfully says Hiya and shakes her paper cup pointing to it to suggest giving money, perhaps if I give her tuppence she will read my fishes or grant me wishes or clothes pegs. The centre boasts a top class drinking establishment, a post office, opticians, McColl's, a bakers, a sort of card shop that sells tools and pet accessories and other random stuff, there is also a money station place where people transfer money or something, they used to sell actual objects but now the shop contains nothing but the stench of desperation and lost hope. If it's a world class shopping experience you desire then drylaw shopping centre will delight and enthrall you.

Not far from my house! Amazing place
K. M.
A must-see for any tourist. A range of shops and characters to please any culture vulture tourist. Whether its fine cuisine from the farm shop, magnificent pies from the traditional bakery, or a nautical adventure in the ferry boat. Regular sailings to various dark and mysterious places. Dress is usually sports casual / pyjamas.
K. M.
Very busy on the main pavement, often seems dirty. Been into several shops here and staff seem rude (rs McColl, off licence and dears the chemist) baynes now only does orders from the door so can't see the food before ordering unfortunately. There's a frozen food shop that is very popular farmfoods and a shop that sells everything from apples to art things for the kids to household items
A. B.
Some gem shops here but the whole area needs a reboot. The ambiance feels like it’s been stuck in the mid 60s and has not moved forward.
J. W.
Pushing the likes of Westfield, in London, or even Livingston Designer Outlet. It's eclectic mix of locally run shops run by enthusiastic local people makes it my go to destination for all my local needs.
R. R.
Shopping centre, no! Dears Pharmacy, that's fine. Farmfoods, fine. Samsuns takeaway plus Domino's and Mr Lee's Chinese, all good. A McColls, the Turkish Barber, which is great btw! A pub and a betting shop with a few other shops thrown into the mix. Top Celler, Day-toDay and a Tailors.
