I'm by no means a fudge connoisseur, but this fudge is AMAZING. They were very kind to give out small samplings for the flavors my group and I were interested in. We even got to see them pour and prepare a new batch, and receive a small sampling of that! (The flavor was hazelnut, and it was better than Nutella!). No lie, it changed my life for the better.

Go get your fudge here! It melts in your mouth, every flavor is delicious, and they have dairy free options if that’s something you prefer. I also got fudge at the Fudge House down the street but it truly does not even compare. Fudge Kitchen is 10x better! They also let you taste some of the flavors if you can’t decide which ones to get. If I’m ever back in Edinburgh, I will definitely go get some more fudge at the Fudge Kitchen.

We've been longing for a nice fudge. And goodness, is it the best fudge I've had yet! Creamy, full of flavour. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the varieties, of which there are plenty. And the service was superb. We were served by the shop manager. We took some time to decide, but felt no pressure at all. He was very friendly, gave us lots of samples to try. I'm so glad we stumbled upon this place, it just made my day!

This place is fantastic 🥰 Their fudge is divine (try the maple walnut) and VERY reasonably priced - especially as the cost of raw ingredients has risen so sharply of late. Incredibly, they also produce fabulous vegan fudge, so that’s the family stocking fillers sorted for this Christmas! All this AND super friendly service - it’s just a shame I only discovered them on our last day in Edinburgh …. But they do mail order deliveries, so I can have another fix when my box of 6 runs out 😊😊😊😊😊😊

Fantastically flavoursome fudge. Honestly the best fudge I've ever tasted. Some may baulk at the prices but honestly i'd say it's worth it for the quality. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and provide ample samples of different fudges to try. They regularly have fudge being made at the back of the shop, which you can watch being made. And if that doesn't satisfy the sweet tooth enough, they sell make-at-home kits.

Hard to see now there will is scaffolding outside, gave us free samples to try out diary free fudge and normal fudge (both tasted the same). Also you get calorie information on the packet which is great if you track your calories, never seen it before but a great little feature which probably goes unnoticed. Would visit again!

This is a fantastic little shop. They have a huge variety of fudges; dark chocolate, ginger, Rocky road, lemon, milk chocolate, strawberry, and the list goes on and on. Everything is freshly made onsite. We went a bit overboard and bought a huge amount and variety of fudge. All of them are fantastic. You can't go wrong with your purchase. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the service is fast. If you have a hankering for something sweet this is a great place to scratch that itch.

I visited Scotland last year and I have to say this was one of the highlights of my trip. Our group was walking down the street when we heard someone call out to come inside. We were welcomed with sweet aromas of fudge and welcoming smiles of the employees. While we watched the fudge be made they let us try free samples from the freshest batch they had. Amazing fudge, made in front of you, with very generous free samples! Genuinely some of the best fudge I've ever tasted, there's occasionally deals on big orders and my friends were not disappointed with the very elaborate presentation boxes I brought back as a gifts for them. There's certainly cheaper fudge available in Edinburgh but the experience of going in, seeing it made and the wide assortment of flavours makes the price worth it, clearly many years of experience go into the fudge. My friend from Edinburgh brought me here saying he goes here since he was a child and this is the best fudge in Edinburgh. As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was great and the very friendly staff offered us a free sample of any kind of fudge. I guarantee as soon as you taste some, you can't say no. This fudge is just too good. I ended up buying a very large slice of chocolate fudge with sea salt and I'm fighting myself trying to not eat it all in one go. The staff will always recommend something different and will explain how it's made and how they use the same 1830's recipe. If you are a tourist in Edinburgh, this is definitely worth a visit!

The fudge kitchen is no ordinary fudge shop - you can see the fudge being made in front of you here and are able to taste the end product. There are so many different flavours and are all pretty delicious. The fudge comes in slabs and is ideal as a gift (or a gift to yourself). It is hard to resist and great for the sweet lovers out there. It is definitely worth a look in just for a quick taste and a sniff of the delicious fudge smell.

I have a sweet tooth and the fudge from this shop is a delicious treat from time to time. It is made on a big marble slab by the chefs in front of you, the smell is amazing and it looks fantastic the way it is spread out on the work top. Slices of fudge are generous but not that cheap and probably the worst thing you can eat for your teeth so I don't get it often - but it tastes great. There's a tonne of flavours to choose from.

It's worth popping in, if only to have a free sample and to watch the fudge making process as warm sticky fudgey deliciousness is worked on a marble slab. Apparently they also run fudge making classes which are very good. Once you're inside you'll no doubt be tempted to indulge in some delicious treats!

This ended up being a very hard choice as there was so much to pick from. After picking 6 from the website before i went in. one was out of stock and there were more that weren't on the website. This fudge is beyond compare! I very rarely eat fudge, probably because it's too rich and filling of an indulgence... but one can't help but be tempted in the case of the Fudge Kitchen. Having arrived in Edinburgh from Canada for only a week, I saw great things about it online and in a guide book so I had to try for myself and was certainly not disappointed! The kind fellow at the front offered me a couple of samples of caramel fudge but my mind was set on the butterscotch, and the peanut butter and chocolate (though I'd gladly pick the caramel next time). I don't think there's a bad flavour among them.
