Lots of parking space, food and drink drive through, good selection of stores from cost effective price range. Too bad M&S outlet doesn''t have a food hall, but Sainsbury's has whatever I need. Access for mobility aids available.

Plenty of free parking which is unusual in Edinburgh and lots of shops including Sainsbury. Within walking distance of Calton Hill monuments and fantastic views of the city

It's OK for what it is. It's right in the middle of town with reasonable parking. The shops are all a bit samey. The M&S outlet is being replaced with Home Bargains which will accompany poundstretcher, poundland, B&M and TK Maxx to make an unholy alliance of discount stores. Additionally you have a large sainsburys and a Mecca bingo Hall, and both the KFC and Costa sit in/drive thrus. It's a good place to hunt for a bargain and there's a charity shop attached on street level. There's plenty of buses available nearby that serve the local and wider area, but no taxi rank. Sainsburys offer toilets, as does the Bingo Hall, but for food you're looking at a short walk to Abbeyhill for anything more substantial than a meal deal.

Nice location a bit out of the way from all the huzzle and buzzle. Quite a few shops with everything it has to offer. Could do with a bit of a cleaning. Nearly slipped on a brown bottle of everyone's favourite German lager at the bottom of the stairs. Homeless people begging for money when most people have little cash in their wallets and everything goes via the phone or card. TKMAXX has a great range of items that seem to have been sold out at every other branch. M&S Outlet has quite a few things too but not really mega savings to be made. Think most people there come for the discounted furniture.

Great selection of shops, including B&M, Marks and Spencers Outlet, Sainsbury's, TK Maxx, Poundland and Kentucky Fried Chicken, as well as other outlets, all of which are quite large in size. The shops are usually open quite late (even on a Sunday!) So it is very convenient for those late night shopping adventures!

what a place... its not the shopping but the serenity and scenary.... not many shops but sainsburry takes care of all aspects... buy a cup of coffee n watch Arthurs seat from the parking lot... the area had an amazing appeal and pulls u... close to bus stations so u can hop On n Off if the stay is far... McD is at a walking distance and so is a chinese restaurant...

The B&M has a cheap Booze section but no paints (the opposite of B&M seafield) THE CAR PARK was a mess and is under construction right now but the diverts in place lead you down dead ends or into opposite one way traffic forcing you to reverse out of it.

Living very close to this place is a god send and really handy as we don't need to catch the bus or drive to get groceries. It had a large Sainsbury's and a range of clothing and cheap home stores to suit all budgets. TKMaxx is there also a Gala Bingo. It's not particularly a large area just has what you need when you need it. Easy bus access to and from with a lovely view of Arthur's Seat from the car park on a clear day.
