Local shopping centre. A small selection of shops and supermarkets. Two levels with lift and escalators. Local Gym aswell. Public toilets, not always that clean but they do get cleaned... just public aren't that clean. Staff are approachable. Great bus service to this area.

Moderate shopping mall but with some good shops. A big Home Bargain is there and large parking space. There are some charity shops like BHF and another one in ground floor. Also one Indian store for multi-purpose items.

Small shopping mall with many shopping store for everything. It has post office as well. There's one bank and 3 free cash wending machines. It has public toilet. It has a cafe, card factory and Boots medical store. It has public toilet for free as well. It gets closed on weekends and opening hours are From Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Got lost....ye gods, had to pay 35 taxi the bus took me to the airport i did not have any bags? He could have asked? Bus drivers..not everyone is well..some of us are old and confused....ask...help..no?

Westside Plaza has enough shops for the local community to keep it a busy shopping complex. But there isn't much more than that. No clothes or shoe shop which I think the local community would appreciate.

Seems to be a new empty unit each time I visit, which is not often as I no longer live near the Plaza. I was passing today, had a quick look in and then went to Lidl, which was very well stocked

It's a shopping plaza, having multiple shops like Iceland, Home bargain, Lidle, coffee shop etc. You can also find post office, council office here. Also, there is one shop at first floor where you can get the duplicate making of keys if you lost one or need an extra one of your any keys. There is only problem that it is closed on Sundays and in weekdays it's only opened till 6 pm. But there is Lidl big market shop there which has entrance at the either side and it is opened until 9 pm daily. There is also a fitness center in the plaza.

It's an oddity. In a little door next to the Odeon you get whisked away to a world where somehow farmfoods and a gym sit next door to each other. A place where a bank and gambling machines are in eye contact. The whole thing is a creepy contradiction with its massage chairs in front of the toilets. It almost feels like something out of a futuristic utopian nightmare with a shop called "Sleeping In" and the "Embassy Of The Word Of God" seems permanently closed. Well at least Brighthouse is too I guess. I'd say it was my least favourite mall in Edinburgh but that's now "Princes Mall" after they removed the amazing water features and replaced them with that poor man's karaoke bar where nobody can sing.

They seem to have tried to address the problem of smokers (including their own staff) lingering in the upper entrances, which now makes it a more pleasant place to visit. Parking is free and most of the retailers are inexpensive - worth a look during the daytime - the number and range of outlets is limited and the centre usually closes quite early.

Westside Plaza has nearly all the amenities and shops that you need to do your shopping and pay bills, do your banking. You are able to get something to eat from the likes of Greg's or the restaurant/cafeteria that is downstairs. There is a lift and an escalator to get to the upper floor. There is a good variety of shops There are baby changing facilities and toilet facilities There is always security guards on the premises There are lots of parking spaces at the back of Westside Plaza

I use the shops here quite regularly it's a good place for an all round grocery shop under 1 roof with different food stores also has a few stalls selling their wares like phone cases and replacement screens ect, unfortunately there has been several shops close (out of buisnes or relocating, who knows) I do know an asda or Tesco would easily compete with this place there is still a few plusses to this centre ie, the bank (of Scotland), a dentist's, an opticians (Brown's opticians) all in ithis centre also.

Seems to be a lot of 'disabled' folks without masks.... I could live with that if the shops restricted access to them like in the 1st lock down, when there's that many it's impossible to keep 2m social distancing :-(

For a small centre there is a lot to pick from. There is a Post Office, Lidl supermarket, Peacocks clothes shop, Hairdressers, Bank of Scotland etc. Also just outside you have Odeon Cinema, Exercise for less and the local Library. Cleaned throughout the day, the Plaza is always spotlessly clean.

Rather deserted these days, shops are more towards the end of the bottom end of the market. The place is alright if you know you want something from one of the handful of shops currently there. Certainly not somewhere youd go just to browse.

Wester Hailes’ main shopping centre, the Westside Plaza has a Lidl, a Farmfoods and an Iceland grocery shops, a Home Bargains, a newsagent, a Greggs, a dentist and an optician, a wee cafe, and a gym, with access from outside. It has an Odeon cinema outside and a tanning shop and a Polish shop on the car park by the railway line. It is close to the Healthy Living Centre doctors practice and Wester Hailes train station. The staff in the various shops are friendly as well as the security people.

Lida's a Great place for fresh Vegetable's & Fruit, they've also got a various produces & a lot of food to chose from & that's why Lidal's my favorite supermarket. Friendly staff also. Just a little busy at rush hour time though, but Barr that it's a great place too do you're shopping.

Beautiful centre. Also the old Wigan casino site. Security are second to none. Were more than keen to walk through the centre with us explaining where l the old casino stood also took our photos for us. Brilliant selection of shops and food outlets would definitely recommend others to visit

The only thing missing from this cinema is an ice cream selection. Everything else about it is perfect. The seats are amazing. The layout is spacious. It truly is a luxury cinema and yet it has a budget price.

Excellent place to shop, has a wide selection of pawn shops, charity shops and general junk shops. You feel really safe here because everyone is always smashed, out their face on drugs or high as a kite from sniffing glue so you could probably handle any issues that arise. If not there's plenty of ageing security guards around that can regail you with their tales of how they used to be in the SAS. There are a couple of cashpoints available.

There's a big shopping mall here which has Iceland, Lidl, the post office, a bank and other facilities for quick shopping. The Council and Job centre are also located very close to this place. There's a big free parking lot at the back of the plaza.

Parking spaces are somewhat narrow. Theres a good gym, Aldi and many other stores for a good food shop. Also a cash converter etc. Some shops and businesses cannot be accessed from within the plaza, and you must exit and walk round. All shops and stores accept cards and cash. There is also your gypical vibrating chairs and weighing scales and a small booth selling phone cases and accessories within the plaza.

Nice place to get store like lidl ICELAND and cut price stores. The issue encountered was i went to the toilets downstairs and when i came up the door i came in was locked. I had to go right round to find an open entrance. Which can be distressing for someone who doesnt know where to go.

I stay in the Westerhiales area. The Plaza /Centre. Whatever you want to call it is very good for getting your weekly /monthly messages, going to post office or the bank. You can get just about all you need, but still need to go up toon for clothes shopping. You can get a good coffee /tea, hotchoc and something to eat aswell. Take care. Offers late shopping at LIDL after your workout at tne gym, you can nip to the chippy, get your hair cut , snack on yum yums, buy a bed or a crow bar from the same shop, always spot a gaggle of guards waddling around and around, have a game of "is the escalator working", get your eyes tested, have your teeth taken out or filled, post your mail, get bargains for your home after you dodge the cut out pic of a cop, cheap, needs more cheer.1

Westside plaza is a fairly sparce and incognisent shopping centre situated in the well known westerhailes area of Edinburgh, the shops change frequently.
